We'll also provide tips and modifications to ensure you get the most out of your resistance band workouts. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, this video has something for everyone. So grab your resistance bands and let's get started!
Resistance bands are a versatile and convenient form of strength training equipment that can be used to improve overall fitness and athletic performance. One of the main benefits of using resistance bands is that they offer a form of variable resistance, which means the resistance increases as the band is stretched. This can help to build strength and muscle mass more effectively than using fixed-weight equipment. Additionally, because resistance bands are lightweight and portable, they can be used to train anywhere and at any time.
Another benefit of using resistance bands is that they can be used to target specific muscle groups. Different resistance bands are designed with different levels of resistance, making them suitable for people of all fitness levels. And with the range of exercises that can be done with resistance bands from bodyweight exercises such as rows and curls, to dynamic movements like jumping and plyometric exercises, It's possible to work on every muscle group and joints in the body.
Additionally, resistance bands are also helpful for rehabilitation and injury prevention. They can be used to help people regain strength and mobility after an injury, or to help prevent injuries from occurring in the first place. They can also be used as an accessory tool to complement other forms of training, like to add resistance to bodyweight exercises or to help with powerlifting movements and is great for overall body conditioning.
Overall, resistance bands are a convenient, versatile, and effective form of strength training that can help to improve overall fitness and athletic performance, as well as aid in rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Excellent. This is the best and most complete resistance band workout I've seen yet. And as someone who is in a wheelchair I really appreciate that you focused on doing these seated.
lunsj thanks for commenting
My mom is often wheel chair bound and I noticed that no one really specializes in training people that are not as mobile as the norm. I'm definitely going to put together a few more of these types of routines in the future :)
This is the only video that focuses on people who are limited in their movement limitations. Nice video.😊

I started at 440 lbs and am down to 369. I found your seated resistance band exercises a month ago. I really is great and finally found something I can do. can you recommend a similar exercise for the lower belly area? I haven't seen anything on You Tube for seated bands that covers that area.. Thanks so much for posting the exercises.
Wow!!! First let me say congratulations and way to go because it’s not easy. I’ll take a look on this channel to see if I ever posted something for the lower stomach from a seated position. And if so I’ll post the link here... if not I’ll do my best to describe what you can do 🙂🙂
Hi there I was also interested to know if there were any abdominal exercises as I too have found it difficult to find any as good as all the other exercises in your fantastic videos !!!! I’m recovering from a broken ankle surgery ,finding your work out videos which are so informative and professional enthused me to actually want to get started !!!! Definitely the best videos out there !!! Xx thank you .
After watching this video, I felt extremely motivated to get a chair like that.
Lol…. Cool. Thanks for watching😎😎😎
Thank you for posting this workout! I just bought a resistance band after watching this and it's inspired me to workout. I've recently had a full rupture of my Achilles so this is great for me as ill be seated and non weight bearing for a few weeks. Thank you once again
Thank you for taking the time to watch. I know that having that type of injury makes it very difficult to exercise and you’re make a smart move by looking for ways to work around it. Thanks for commenting 🙂🙂🙂
the best resistance band exercise on the internet . Cant wait for the next video!
Thank you so much for the great comment and thank you for taking the time to watch the video😎😎😎
He's not lying about the band flying off your foot. I've had it come loose from the door and hit me in the back multiple times. Trust me, it's super painful. The worst was when it slipped off during a rowing motion and hit me in the eye. I was immediately blinded. Not only was it painful, I couldn't see anything out of that eye for several days. Thankfully my vision came back. Scary stuff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video. I’m glad that you did not get hurt😎😎😎😎😎😎
I just lost my leg. I am so grateful for this video. Thank you sir.
I thank you for watching 🙂🙂
Thank you very much!!
I am in wheelchair and this workout is very useful for me. 💪👊
Thank you for taking the time to watch. Hope it helps 😎😎😎😎😎
This workout is great because I don't trust, structurally speaking, my door or door anchor.
Lol.... i’m glad the video could help then. Thank you for watching😎😎😎
This is an awesome video man! Broke my femur about a month ago and was starting to get down on myself for not being able to train. Getting the resistance band and doing these alternative exercises has definitely helped lift my spirits 🙏🏾💪🏾
Ouch a broken femur is a very seriously injury. Yet these types of resistance routine can help you to not lose all of your muscle as you are recovering. thanks for watching :)
Thank you very much for doing this video. I have chronic back problems, a hip replacement, and COPD. Working out while standing can be very difficult for me at times. I salute you for making a great workout video for people like me.

Really like both of your seated resistance band videos! Was looking for something I can do at work while I'm stuck in a chair and this is perfect. Looking forward to adding these in 4 days a week and seeing the results. Thank you!

I was struggling to find a video about Everlast Fitness kit everlastonline.eu/en/everlast-fitness-kit-400933.html but you are using those resistance bands I think. Thank you so much! I bought em right away
Awesome! Thanks for watching 😎😎😎
This is just perfect... thanks so much Mike! I've been looking for a comprehensive but SIMPLE routine to build some upper body strength with my resistance band while traveling and living abroad, and could never find anything that didn't include either other equipment or a post/wall etc for the band to attach to. I really appreciate the clarity of your explanations as well - so well done! :)
I’m glad that the video was able to help. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for taking the time to watch😎😎😎😎
Any excercise with the bands i can use to work my abs while on a chair?
The easiest way would be to pass the bands underneath the chair near the two rear legs. Have the bands go behind the back of the chair and up over your shoulders. Grab the bands and crunch forward. You may have to wrap the bands around the legs a couple time to shorten the band to increase the resistance.
@@fightyourwayfit thank you so much. i dont have much time to work out beyond working hours and this really helps! thanks for all your help
Do you have a downloadable link for this video for those without internet? Or perhaps a pdf with the exercises?
i will have to look through my files to find the original video, it may take a few days but ill try and post a downloadable link for both resistance band videos here : )
If you use Firefox there are several add-ons that allow you to download videos. The one I use is Video DownloadHelper and it works just fine for saving these workout videos to watch offline.
This is Exactly what I need.👍👍
Thanks for taking the time to watch 😎😎😎🙂
Thank you 😊

I thank you for watching 😎😎😎

I don’t really know. I used royalty free music from a site called audio blocks. I’ll have to take a look
...so pulling which requires strength is eccentric or concentric ?
what happens if we breath just the reverse way around?
Thanks for the comment;
The concentric phase of the muscle is when the muscle shortens and contracts and the eccentric phase is when the muscle lengthens...so pulling in is concentric as it is shortening the muscles in your back.
You could breathe the other way around ... yet you will probably find that you can generate more power by exhaling during the concentric phase as your core will become more rigid and add stability. It is also harder to concentrically raise a weight than it is to eccentrically lower it and having that extra core stability due to breathing out as you lift concentrically makes it a little easier 😎😎
You are welcome. These exercises are great. Do you think you will ever make a chart?
Very good video, good demonstrations.
Thank you so much for commenting and for watching

Hello! Can resistance bands cause muscle hypertrophy?
Absolutely... if they provide adequate resistance.
Thanks for watching 😎😎😎😎
I’ve been looking for a good upper body workout. Ive just had a knee replacement and will have to be careful when I get back to training and this looks just what I need 💪💪
Thanks for watching and for commenting. The great thing about this type of routine is that everything can be done without getting out of the chair so that you don't aggravate your knee. I wish you a speedy recovery : )
Everlast Nutrition Everlast Nutrition Thank you. I certainly will be doing this upper body and also your lower body seated workout (once I’m giving the all clear with my knee) I can’t wait to start this.
Absolutely very convenient for physical impair person like me.
