    I just realized that you mentioned that you prefer switches that provide clicky/tactile feedback and none of the switches are clicky/tactile (all of them are linear) and then you have the silent switches that provide little to no feedback as your favourite. Just found that a bit funny/ironic. It would be interesting to see you compare some clicky/tactile switches to the linear ones you reviewed.
    I keep coming back to this video because you seem to be the only content creator that reviewed the deep sea silent switches. If you have any plans on making a more in depth review on the deep sea switches I'm sure there would be people out there, including myself, that would find it useful.

      Yeah tactile wasn't the best word probably, I guess I just meant more feedback. That's what surprised me about the silent switches too! I ordered 5 just to try them, then had to go back and order a 30ct for the rest of my boxes.

    Not sure if you've ever used the Razer Kitsune, but do the Deep Sea switches feel similar to the switches in that pad, as far as mushiness? The switches they use on the Kitsune also have a sort of dampener to silence the sound, but they make the button press feel very mushy and I didn't like it at all, though the quieter sound was nice. If I can get that quiet sound with a similar feel to the Lofree switches, that'll be my winner.

    Thank you for reuploading without the music, you sold me on the deep sea silent inslets but there's one concern I have with them. Do they spring back up just as fast as the wind engines or are they a bit mushier? Based on the video it almost feels like it's getting stuck and slow to spring back up but that's probably because of the lack of sound feedback it gives.
    I have the S16 which have choc v2 reds in them by default which I find mushy/scratchy so I'm looking to swap them out for something a bit more smooth and responsive. I'm trying to decide between the wind engines and the deep sea inslets. I like the idea of quieter switches but not at the expense of responsiveness/smoothness so if the deep seas feel very similar to the wind engines then I'll def go with the deep seas.

      The wind engines feel much clickier, but the deep seas feel very responsive. The rubber inserts that silence the sound feel springy almost, I used to play on stick and despised how silent buttons felt on there, so I was suprised how much I liked the Inslets.
      I agree about the reds, I'm not a big fan of the reds/clears after trying the others due to that loose/mushy feeling.
      Let me know what you think when you get them!

      @@Stankboys will do. I tested choc v2 browns and I like the tactile feedback they provide for attack buttons but not so much for movement buttons as I find they require slightly more effort to press and my left hand gets fatigued after longer play sessions. The deep seas have tactile and linear variants so I'm planning on grabbing both. I'm liking the combination of linears for movement and tactiles for attack buttons.
      I also ordered choc v2 blues just to test the clicky feedback but I have a feeling the clicks will get annoying after a while. But who knows, maybe they'll provide those same satisfying clicks in arcade sticks

    Have you tried, deep sea brown tactile switches? How are they compared to the linear deep sea. Do you miss inputs as they are silent? Or do you still get feedback on those silent switches

    • @Stankboys
      @Stankboys  3 місяці тому +1

      I have not tried the tactile ones, I prefer linear from my experience though in general. No dropped inputs as far as I can tell, they seem very responsive

      I got both the deep sea brown tactiles and white linears. Browns are slightly louder and the tactile feedback is very subtle

      @@FS-zt6tm I have them now silent linear version, and they do lower the sound. But there is still audible sound, I guess this comes from the keycaps hitting the keybase plate.

    • @FS-zt6tm
      @FS-zt6tm 3 місяці тому

      @@JoePark514 yup, it's the keycaps hitting the plate. I think using o-rings will make them even quieter if you prefer them quieter.
      I like the brown tactiles for movement buttons and linears for attack buttons. I feel like the tactile feedback helps me move my fingers quicker compared to the linears. The silent linears feel a bit mushy on the movement buttons imo.
