I can kinda understand why the chaperones didn't try and get the man to leave. From what I've heard the bus was almost there and it would be easier and cause less of a scene to just leave when the bus came, especially with people recording. As for the black protestors, I don't think the chaperones could have done anything. If they tried to move, the protestors would have just followed them. Protestors like these go after and attack adults all the time so a couple adults in a hoard of children wouldn't have been able to stop them. If they had tried to go up and talk to them, I think they would have been assaulted (not necessarily a beating, but getting a drink poured on them or their hats ripped off at least) since it is more morally acceptable to attack an adult than a kid. My question is more where were the police? But then again, if the police had come the blacks might have attacked them or called them racist. I don't think this situation had a good out to it, what happened is probably the best case scenario, had it not been recorded. These kids were gathering on the steps to meet up with the rest of their school group to catch their bus to go home from the "March for Life" that they attended (as they do EVERY YEAR). They were approached by "Nat" banging his drum. The young men did not taunt or yell at the native Americans prior or during. Meanwhile, these students were called blue-eyed devils, racists and told to go "shoot up a school". At one point, the students started chanting one of their school songs (as directed to by one of the adult chaperones) to help break the tension. This young student, I'm sure, did not know how to react when this grown man came up to him, staring him down, BANGING on a drum inches from his face; so he did what ANY GENTLEMAN SHOULD DO: he stood there, silently, without backing down and without attacking anyone, then he put on an unsure (yet polite) grin on his face. What was he supposed to do? Have a RBF? Yell back? Make faces? Frown? Purse his lips? Laugh? This young man (and his reaction) should be applauded.

I can kinda understand why the chaperones didn't try and get the man to leave. From what I've heard the bus was almost there and it would be easier and cause less of a scene to just leave when the bus came, especially with people recording. As for the black protestors, I don't think the chaperones could have done anything. If they tried to move, the protestors would have just followed them. Protestors like these go after and attack adults all the time so a couple adults in a hoard of children wouldn't have been able to stop them. If they had tried to go up and talk to them, I think they would have been assaulted (not necessarily a beating, but getting a drink poured on them or their hats ripped off at least) since it is more morally acceptable to attack an adult than a kid. My question is more where were the police? But then again, if the police had come the blacks might have attacked them or called them racist. I don't think this situation had a good out to it, what happened is probably the best case scenario, had it not been recorded. It's only because it was recorded and edited that it turned out bad, otherwise it was a nonviolent situation where no one got hurt.

The institute invited various "prophets" to come for two weeks at a time and "teach" one Sunday (Mega Church w/10K seating) I saw everyone going down to the altar to "receive a blessing" so I went down there and stood amongst the hoard with my eyes closed praying and waiting to be whisked away .. the "Profit" (yes profit) came and went .. and opened my right eye to see EVERYONE laying on the floor .. then I peaked to the left to see the same thing .. These kids were gathering on the steps to meet up with the rest of their school group to catch their bus to go home from the "March for Life" that they attended (as they do EVERY YEAR). They were approached by "Nat" banging his drum. The young men did not taunt or yell at the native Americans prior or during. Meanwhile, these students were called blue-eyed devils, racists and told to go "shoot up a school". At one point, the students started chanting one of their school songs (as directed to by one of the adult chaperones) to help break the tension. This young student, I'm sure, did not know how to react when this grown man came up to him, staring him down, BANGING on a drum inches from his face; so he did what ANY GENTLEMAN SHOULD DO: he stood there, silently, without backing down and without attacking anyone, then he put on an unsure (yet polite) grin on his face. What was he supposed to do? Have a RBF? Yell back? Make faces? Frown? Purse his lips? Laugh?
