I've been fortunate enough to not only have a ride in a 296 GTB, but to also drive it myself around some of my local roads. For the sake of brevity I won't elaborate on the astonishing story, but I have the absolute best fortune when it comes to car experiences. I found this experience to be exhilarating beyond anything else that had happened, and believe me when I tell you that it had some competition. some notes about the driving experience: 1. It's FAST. 830hp checks out. the car just goes when you want it to. 2. It's fun. the throttle pedal is incredibly addicting. there's a certain novelty to a car that is a fun experience at any speed. the 296 has that special novelty. 3. The V6 is a work of art. You would forget the turbochargers exist if it were not for the little wooshes behind your head. The V12 comparison is completely fair. However, in losing half its cylinders, the V6 is able to speak in such a way that it feels like you know the car on a more personal level. This car has held a very special place in my heart ever since I found out about it, and now having actually gotten to drive one, it's a dream come true.
@@rotimianfela806 not bad at all! Storage space in the frunk is pretty good, ride is quite comfortable. I drove it with the carbon bucket racing seats, but i remember them being snug and comfortable. Honestly you could daily drive it and be very happy.
I was lucky to be driven by a gentleman in his shark grey 296 for about 30 mins, it is an amazing car. He has shown me the mclaren 720s and they are quite similar cars, so comfortable and usable. The 296 was the absolute full package, the whole car is built beautifully, the engine is amazing, and with the seamless electric assistance it is so so fast. At the same time it was so comfortable around bad roads, easy to drive, and he pays the same emission taxes as a golf gti he said. Guess they sell really well.
I have driven all mid-engine Ferraris except for the 348 and the SF 90 and must admit that for me this is simply the best. Can't wait to get my 296 GTS next spring. This is truly an outstanding and stunning beauty. The only thing I have to criticize is the touch-pad orgy.
love the design, so flowey yet sharp. I will soon be in the market for my first ferrari, its either between 812 superfast or the 296. I am leaning more towards the 812 due to the signature 6.5L v12.
@@rohitbishoyi9095 if recent trends are anything to go by, its likely that I will dislike it. My biggest pet peeve is that the successor will definitely have a digital dash instead of a physical tac needle.
You know what I discovered? I have a nagging belief that Maserati's so called Nettuno V6 is just another variant of the F163 engine. They have the exact same bore x stroke x displacement. The only differences is that the F163 has 9.4:1 compression in comparison to the Nettuno which has 11.1:1 and the F163 has 120 angle instead of 90 and clearly runs more boost, cams and engine management is likely different but they even kind of sound similar...the Nettuno doesnt rev as high but its rev limiter is electronic....just a thought..

My new Ferrari 296, bought for $225k from Mccfrx. Fantastic ride

This car literally sounds like a baby v12… what a car
It‘s such a positive surprise, it goes like a v12 as well!
Drive the v12 and then drive this. They are nothing alike. Turbo cars are boring
Driven the 812 check it out!
@@mrporsche4236guess the f40 is boring then
@@Moscarblogthe design isnt too modernized too, italians know what they are doing broo

Absolute masterpiece, such a great car
First I hated it but i start to like it

It looks like a playmobil car and I used to hate it but the more I see it the more I like it. That’s btw the best review ive seen about this car.
Thank you so so much it means a lot! Subscribe to see the other Reviews as well!
I like that every youtuber driving this thing says its very fast. Looks like a fun car with the smaller size

Amazing!
Scored my Ferrari 296 from Mccfrx for $225k. Thrilled with it!
I like the wheel sizes. Not egregiously big like the 22inch wheels on Porsches!

Sharp looking.

I agree!
Paid $225k for my Ferrari 296 at Mccfrx. Great experience!
How'd the acceleration feel versus the 918 spyder?
This might be the hardest question ever! The emotions are definitely higher in the 918 spyder, but they both rip faces off!
Enzo Ferrari is in heaven, happy that his cars are world class machines !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take me for a ride. Beautiful
Which color is this?

The hood looks nothing like the 488😅
What a car?.
Still no carbon chassis. Shame
It sounds like a 911!
3.0 6 cylinder hehe
only concern is reliability.
Agreed, but they did well on the LaFerrari
