OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. Regarding your truck, I'm assuming your oil pressure sensor is bad/going bad. I'm curious to see a response from ya bro should be easy fix too. Hope this helps and hurry and move here to TX! Yeeehaw & yeeeYee! Lol.🤘
About your truck, I had a similar issue in my old Honda element, turned out to be a sensor in the engine was messed up and was telling it to do crazy things, it actually ended up messing up the car (mechanic was baffled about it for almost a month, when it became terminal it just wouldn't accelerate anymore) it killed the whole engine and ruined the vehicle, I highly recommend you have your mechanic check all the engine sensors man, it's super dangerous, it stalled me out twice, thankfully once was at a stop light and the other time was going 15 down an empty side street, if it happened on a busy road or highway I dont know if I'd be here typing this, please get it looked at asap, dont want you, the famly, friends or anyone else on the road getting hurt.
Dear Donut, Your message that you are delivering to people on your main channel is very important. That being said, your mental health is what matters. Thank you for all that you do. I will continue to support you every month on Twitch. Keep your head up big guy. Take care of yourself and that family of yours. Also, love the bandanna.

Tobias Kyon , I agree with you 100% dude. Cody has said in the past, that doing those sort of videos on his other channel all the time, along with all the research for them, has messed with his head in the past and left him feeling really down and low. It’s not worth messing with his mental health and his happiness, just for a video. I prefer this channel now. I enjoy just coming along for the ride that is his life!! He entertains me, as do Kaylee, John and all the menagerie of his pets. I like his other channel as well and I never miss a video, but he often shares funny criminal stories or cop stories, Florida Man etc. He could concentrate more on those sorts of events when they happen, rather than any of the ones that mess with his head. Cody doesn’t need to dealing with violent shootings or any of that type of thing and if people don’t like it, there are other channels that cover those things anyway. Plus, when he does those sorts of videos, UA-cam pretty much always demonetises them, so what’s the point?! If he doesn’t enjoy it anymore and he isn’t making any money from those videos, I think he should just stop doing them. Unless there is something that he really wants to cover. Anyway, that’s just my humble opinion on the matter! 🤷🏼♀️ 😜

Quite a few people have the same problem with the oil. They were low on oil from the factory. One was 2 quarts low. www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/low-engin-oil-pressure.56762/page-4
Put me down for a couple cook books! Love you guys! You've got a loose or faulty sensor on the Raptor. Take it to the dealer's service, they'll fix it for free. Check for recalls, too. They'll do it all in one fail swoop.
4:36 hey donut, had the same issue in my truck. Issue is caused by the oil sending unit (drop oil pressure, ECU cuts power to save the motor) a simple fix at the dealer or trusted mechanic
Donut, my guess is your car is going into limp mode when you accelerate, this is to protect the engine as there’s probably a fault code stored with the engine. I work at VW and the most common fault we see on new cars causing limp mode is air sensor faults, the cars are covered in them but they’re easy to replace.
If anything donut i think just doing the vlogs and streaming is a good way to go i understand that just looking at depressing things all day is not great for you as well as all the hate you get. I love your channel and your streams and will support what ever you do.
Hey Donut do what you need to do but please don't abandon your main content. I love what you do and the message you spread is important. You completely changed my perspective on police.
I investigated the fuses and wire harnesses located by the passenger's feet. I found a loose main harness & plugged it back in tight. Not sure I can help, but I do have a few questions. Does the dash display any lights or a wrench symbol when it stalls? The main cable from the battery to the starter had chafed and was shorting against the frame. Symptoms were exactly as you describe. but it is likely a short because its not throwing a code. Try this first- Video: ua-cam.com/video/CBM6wbP7SM0/v-deo.html
I understand about the stepping away from the cop stuff. As much as I enjoy that content I'm sympathetic to the sentiment. I retired from law enforcement about 2 years ago and I'm still "decompressing" from the effects of 25 years of cop shit. Good luck with your twitch content.
Dropping oil pressure on acceleration could be because several things. 1. Bad Oil Pump 2. The oil level is significantly lower in the pan than it should be, air can get into the oil pump and aerate the oil. 3. Dirty Engine/Dirty Oil 4. There is a tube in your Raptor that takes the oil from the pan to the oil pump. This is called the pickup tube. This tube can fall out, which will cause no oil to get to the oil pump. 5. Clogged Oil Filter 6.Check to See if the Oil Pressure Sending Unit is working
On your truck it could probably something simple as the oil pressure sensor or even just the tiny ass filter inside of the oil pressure sensor(sender) which can be clogged up. Or also could even be fuel with a too little octane level, if you’re not already try using premium fuel.
When he said, “What is Gnocchi you might ask” I skipped because I thought he was going to say “Well, its a free to play, online RPG game with hundreds of champions to collect...”
Mechanic here. If you hook up a scan tool you SHOULD have some secondary codes, or as we call them “Soft codes”. These won’t light your check engine light up. Scan and follow the diagnostic tree for the fault code. Side note, Fords have terrible fuel sending unit controllers under the vehicle near the spare tire that cause this exact issue. They corrode and get filled with road debris. I’ve replaced MANY in customer’s Ford SUVs and trucks.

If if dont have a problem with the oil leaking, or not having enough oil, then its either an electronic problem, or a failure in the component that monitors the oil pressure. I'd say take it to a Ford Dealership and see if they can fix the part
My Dodge ram did the same exact thing the mechanic said it was a fuel vapor lock. It happened in the same spot merging onto the freeway. It did it about 3 times then hasn't since.
If your truck is stalling out (typically accelerating from a stop), but only after the engine is warm, it may be a bad high fuel pressure sensor. It's a somewhat common problem in the Eco-boost engines. It's like a $20 part, but it's hard to diagnose until a check engine light code is produced.
My Grandads ford focus estate had the same problem as your truck. It's probably a blocked/restricted oil filter which puts the vehicle into limp home mode.
Congrats on the puppers man, I have a seven month old German shepherd right now and it seems like she gets bigger every day. She’s a 60 pound wrecking ball at the moment, with probably 20-30 pounds more to go. Best dog I’ve ever had though, wouldn’t trade her for the world
I too have a newer f150, mine is an XLT, although I have not experienced any issue with it loosing power, I have experienced an occasional "clunk" when starting it, or when throwing it in gear. The worst part is I brought it up to Ford, and they have no idea why it's doing it, and they are aware of it occurring with 2019s.
Donut, our truck had a similar issue (chevy tho). The issue was that the electronic throttle and the physical throttle were not in the same location according to the computer which tripped an interlock which didn't let the truck accelerate. Yours might have an issue with some oil thing judging by the oil light coming on, but it sounds like its tripping an interlock.
Hey Donut the thing about you truck sometimes on ford ecoboosts the intercoolers will gather up condensation and when you get on the gas it’ll suck the water into the engine and stall it or put it into limp mode. I’m sure as hell not a mechanic but I’ve heard about the same issue happening on other trucks so that might be the problem.
I work for Walmart. The reason random items keep running out is because of the demands for so many other things and how sudden it is, random things get pushed back to make up for demand. When something specific gets bought suddenly it messes with the electronic system that most grocery stores have to make way for that in demand item, so in conclusion it could be pie crust one week, next week olives, and so on. Coronavirus sucks.
On your truck problem, I would start by checking the battery terminals and clean them with a wire brush. I had a similar problem with my 2013 f-250. It would happen when I was hard on the throttle and it would drop oil pressure and shut off. I cleaned the terminals and haven’t had the issue since. I’m assuming that it was causing a poor connection and tripped a sensor
Donut, if you're having issues with your vehicle make sure to keep taking it back to the dealership.
