- Aprilia's newest offering in India is the RS 457 which has been given a price tag of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom). For the price, Aprilia has given the bike a 457cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that belts out 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm. It also comes with an aggressive design and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. There are three riding modes, four traction control modes and the ability to switch off the rear ABS. On paper, the RS 457 looks like the perfect track weapon under Rs 5 lakh. But does the product actually deliver on all fronts or are there areas of concern that can deter buyers? Find out in our review.

Vibrations at 4000 on a parallel twin?? What??
Does it handle better than rc390 around corners
Aprilia and Ducati both names r enough to buy motorcycle and for 4.1l oh boy hell yeah this is a killer undisputed king of d ring machine!
Any idea about after sales services and service cost of this bike
Sorry, but it is still too early for me to answer that. Do expect some teething issues in the early days just like other brands that have a small presence.
what's about YAMAHA R3 engine vibrations & Refinements . comparison with Aprilia RS 457 ...?
r3 has to be way more refined
r3 doesn't have much vibration. The engine is great. But they really need to update its features
The Yamaha R3 engine is smoother than the Aprilia's and feels more happy at higher revs.
can you compare the vibrations level as compared to single cylinder bikes like apache310, duke 390, new himalyan 450
Different kinds of vibrations, singles aren't naturally balanced so the vibrations you feel on 390 or rtr is natural but the vibe in twin will be very different, here the vibes will be more like a buzz. Also in Aprilia everything is mounted directly on the engine which makes you feel the vibes
@@kankit230Directly on the engine..couldn't understand?
@@neoaryan1266 directly on the engine meaning footpegs, frame and swingarm are all mounted on engine, normally engine, swingarm and pegs are mounted on frame/chassis which helps in reducing vibes. Especially if the foot pegs are engine mounted you will feel some vibrations, but the benefit of this is extraordinary handling.
@@kankit230 So does it happen in all perimeter frame bikes?
@@neoaryan1266 not necessarily, every brand has their own version of perimeter frame and are bigger than the one on Aprilia, on rs457 andrs660 have this type of perimeter frame, it's more similar to Ducatis style of mounting engine. A bit Difficult to explain without diagrams
How is the vibrations in comparison to R3?
Will be a bit more viby than r3, because r3 has a steel frame which absorbs and dampens vibrations better but is heavier. Also 180 parallel twin is smoother than 270
The Yamaha R3 definitely has lesser vibes
Can we use gps on its display?
No, you cannot.
Whats your height? I guess we have the same body structure, I want to know if this bike will be comfortable - for a sportbike, of course. By the way, I heard before the vibrations start after 10000RPM, you felt vibrations in low RPM too. The break fading is due the organic pads probably, its not build strong. I dont think a 450cc bike needs 2 front disks, but they could do a better job there. I heard they will sell improved break as acessory, as well the quickshifter. This is a really poor thing in such a good looking, and exciting bike. But lets see how it will go with the first owners. I will wait for a bit, cause we still have RC 390 as the best option to an entry level track bike, for its price, engine, range of service and features.
I am 6ft tall and while the RS 457 felt relatively comfortable. Of course, you will have to take that comment with a grain of salt since we rode the bike in full attack mode on track the entire time. The new Duke 390 is a great choice too (at its price) if you want a safer pick.
They need to improve with the braking section
Just Need Duel Disk at Front
Very poor power output . Less than a Honda 500 cup from 15 years ago ? why
Who can make the dumbest track reviews? So called self claimed indian motor journalists!! No connection to track. No sense of track dynamics. Still throwing track reviews and making bluff. Are bhai stick to road reviews of sub 200cc motorcycles. And leave these technical topics for sagar and power drift team.
