Aprilia’s upping his game again. This company knows what it’s doing, from Vespa to Aprilia without forgetting these delicious Moto Guzzi.
Unfortunately I have to say that the RS457's engine is stunning, but in terms of suspension and sporty riding position the RC390 is much better. And you need to upgrade the brakes on the RS457 immediately as they faid on the racetrack. For me personally the RC390 is the better choice, because of the suspension, brakes and riding position
Aprilia is good at making the least reliable bikes on the planet.
@@EscapePlan97 And yet, mine has been way more reliable (no issues at all, in fact) than my old Honda over the past three years. Go figure.
@@jaybou007 Bought a brand new RS 660 a year ago. It had 5 Problems within 2300 Miles and half a year of active riding. Sold it, never again Aprilia.
@@EscapePlan97 and here i am with 33k miles on my tuono 2014 tuono v4r. its hit or miss
Big props to Aprilia for making this!
It looks fantastic in white
Finally. Manufacturers aren't making us choose between "small cc" and "well-appointed". I really hope this gets wilder and wilder in the 400ish class. Entry-bike arms race is a *good* thing. If it had proper brakes, I think it'd be over for my dear, sweet zx4-rr.
100% it's so annoying that the only way to get good suspension and brakes is to get a highly powerful bike.
U dont need dual brembo stilemas and fully adjustable suspension for something that weighs 160kgs
Supposedly you just need aftermarket sintered brake pads
I think people are realizing they can have more fun on 3-5 hundred cc bikes. Staying on a small bike will make you focus on corner speed and body position. That’s why these are best selling bikes
That, and prices are only getting more ridiculous as time goes on. What we pay for small bikes like this today is what we paid for big bikes in the past.
@@francesboy2inflation just makes it feel that way, the bikes have gotten a bit cheaper
I'd imagine the insurance is a lot cheaper too, especially for young guys.
White one looks amazing!
Finally a English video on the rs457 😂
There are already multiple reviews of this bike in english.
@@hop-skip-ouch8798 nice I’ll have to check it out ,when I check last week or two weeks ago there was only from India since the bike is made there they had first access to it,
He means they are all in India
@@user-en4qs2jo2v But this guy is not English either, he seems American.
@@hop-skip-ouch8798 He's from an english speaking country, WITHOUT heavy indian accent.
Man I'm the biggest kawasaki fan boy, but i have to give it to aprilia this bike is stunning!! They gonna sell a billion of these, i wouldn't be surprised if i buy one.
So stoked to get my order in May!!!

Her expression LoL 😂
Quite funny how she appeared out of nowhere
Aapi tu dhuniya asile kintu 😅😅
Ahhh! Track time! My favorite. Good job Alex! Track time when you get back buddy. IMI is calling us!
Would love to see this compete with the CFMoto 450SR
great review
Can’t wait for the call to pick mine up
I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting on the call. I got the Prismatic Dark
I’m so torn on all three of the colors. I think I need to see prismatic in person to really decide
Looks awesome! Very interested in this as my first bike, waiting to see what KTM does with the RC390 for 2025.
Bet that was a blast
🔥🔥 LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SUMMER WHEN ALEX HITS THE RACE TRACK AGAIN🔥🔥
bike really nice the true test the number game, good luck Aprilia, im looking in to it too.
please tear the stock exhaust off, I've been waiting to hear it's sound, for over 6 months
Loving my rs660 would love to add another bike to the stable :)
Holy crap i own a kawa 400 and this blows it out of the water for the price with the features you get. Wish this came out a year ago
You have a great job. Envious
I think that engine configuration is actually from a cf moto 450s
rumors here in italy say that this engine will be on a new Moto Guzzi called "Stornello" wich is decades ago the basic monocylinder model of Guzzi, and many people stay crossfinger to see it... there's a strong need to fight back Chinese market invasion
Guzzi is bringing out a retro / scrambler type using the engine. That is going to be fire.
Which colour looks stunning from the front
Needs a vs video with the CFmoto and the zx4rr
Aprilia, Tuareg 457 please!😊
Would this make a good beginner bike? I’m considering getting my first motorcycle.
I wonder how it would do against the old RS 250?
Man this is a tough one! I bought a CFmoto 450ss for a little in town ripped and absolutely fell in love with it. I actually think this is an actual competitor to the CFmoto. Which sounds crazy, I get it, however if you never sat or rode the CFmoto it doesn’t feel cheap, parts bin, untrustworthy. I’ve owned 23 bikes and this one feels just like any other Japanese bike. The CFmoto does have more features for the average rider like turn by turn on the dash and movement notifications if someone try’s to steal the bike as well as tracking. Along with some other really neat features. But this Aprilia definitely has the features a more aggressive rider would want. In my opinion Kawasaki’s new 500 isn’t going to hold a candle to the CFmoto 450 or this bike. Right now lower cc bikes are coming in strong and they need some flavor and the new ninja 500 doesn’t have it. Anyway rant owner, cool review🤙🏼
Why not the Ninja ZX-4RR? 30 more HP(74-76HP?), and fully adjustable Showa suspension, with a high revving inine 4.
@@EssPhourit's in different segment compared to those bikes mentioned above
@@EssPhour I actually went in to buy the zx4rr and the out the door price was 12,600. When I asked about the CFmoto it was 7,400 out the door. Now at the same time I already had a zh2 so i decided screw it and got the 450ss instead. Which ended up being such a good little bike I sold the zh2 and got a bmw r1200gsa. I never rode the zh2 because I wasn’t having fun with it like I was the 450ss.
I don’t own a bike and I’m here to see if this would be a great first bike for me 🙌🙏
which one seems to have more power z500 or rs457?
I'd like to see a head-to-head comparison of this bike with the revised 2024 Ninja 500 (451cc).
Nice review. Looks very premium for the class & great fun. Although seems more relevant for Europe than the US. However, regardless of thst, it would be so much fun in a one make race series.
Why more relevant for europe and not us ? I’m not from either of these countries so confused 🥹
@@shubhamanand7018 A poor choice of words by me previously. Not more relevant for Europe but a direct result of unique European bike laws. The power & weight figures are specific to the European A2 licencing laws meaning it can only have a maximum of 47bhp & weigh a minimum of 175kg. I was meaning it may not be as appealing for non-European markets as it could be significantly lighter & more powerful for the money so may not be the best value. Whereas in Europe it is the best power to weight ratio you can get in this class so it makes more sense.
I’m stuck between this for my second bike or a 600
wish it had thicker tires.... they take away a little from the looks of the bike, but i guess thats something you can change if you get one.
In India it's been launched at USD 4800.
I’m so excited for this bike to come to the US. Love the sound of v-twins and 270 degree cranks. Love the Yamaha CP2 and the Suzuki 650 vtwin but I also prioritize light weight toss ability. If kawi came out with a 400 270° I’d be in heaven.
Does indian varient have same brakes, same suspension etc.Have they cut cost anywhere?
YEAH EVERY THING IS SAME.
Aprilia 457 also in inline 4 it's best bike for riders love to see 4clnder 457
Aluminum frame, great job Aprilia! Too many of the smaller budget bikes get heavy steel frames.
Adjustable brake but no adjustable clutch?
That engine would be great in an adventure bike to take round the world. Put it in a frame like on their old singles and twin shocks, partz bin special but beefier up front, it could be superb at the right price. When you have the new triumph 400 to compete with, it wont be easy but i believe Norton made a huge blunder, dropping their Atlas/ Navigator with their new engine of around 650ccand coming in at £9999. It was some bit of kit and i believe Aprilia and Norton are some of the most innovative european bikes out there. Only Triumph with that new TF450 motocross bike excites me but seriously that could be detuned by dropping the compression ratio, different camshaft profile for example and with that strong crankshaft, conrods etc, would have a great 450cc bike for the road. Light, nimble, very reliable, it would be a winner especially if it had the cheaper parts like the 660cc triples and sell the 450 for £6750. It would fly out.
If only Aprilia had an adventure bike to put it in... 😁
Why not an aluminium swing arm though?
400-500cc is actually more than enough for motorcycles. I feel like anything bigger is just overkill. Its nice that since manufacturers have stared catering to the Indian market the rest of the world also gets top quality entry level bikes. That too at bargain prices.
Does the bike have auto blip downshifts ?
Yes, but available as an accessory
That's a track toy for experienced track riders to play around with.
What si the top Speed
Does it have auto bliper and qs?
Yes but optional u have to buy it separately
bruh did you install pirelli supercorsa on that rs457?
It’s a press event…
the amazing era of m4gnetim4relli bike

What is its top speed
200+
@@motionless120 thanks
Don't thank him, he's being a troll. Top speed is 120mph or 198kmph @@rajeevkaushik9868
4:42 that’s Braketech not Brembo. Its inferior equipment
Worth the extra money for the premium features. Getting n exotic Italian bike for under $7k is a bargain.
I wouldn’t call Aprilia “exotic”
Seat cowl looks not good😢..i wish rs660 v shape cowl suits on it😢😢😢😢😢
4.04 193 kmph is this it's maximum top speed 😅
damn it looks like a nice toy
Why wasn't he clutching in? Is it an automatic?
Quickshifter
Disappointing that with even with an aluminum frame its still a couple pounds heavier than the Ninja 500.
But it also has more power and torque compared to Ninja 500. They have to keep power to weight ratio A2 compliant
in terms of technology, the 2023 ktm rc390 and duke 390 are on par
Nice. But I'll keep my rsv4 rf le till I'm an old man...
I'm 61 now, so maybe 10 years or so
Some aprilia models have some of the best motors and rolling chassis in the business but ive always doubted italian electrics.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aprilia’s beginner start bike test reviews done on race tracks. While Triumphs is done around a city 🤦🏾♂️
they are gonna be pricey i bet
Try leaning it over a bit, a pretty bike and good Aprilia engineering. To many gadgets for a low power bike.
😚 P R O M O S M
unless its a race only I dont see a use. 600cc feels sounds and just is the way. Not a fan of the way things are headed, twins are meh and all the sub 600cc offerings either dont slap or sound terrible.
Sadly no mention of cfmoto 450sr/ss, too similar or better maybe 😂
The 450ss is trash.
@@stuartstogdill2406 Can you give some detail behind that opinion? Weight is similar, Brembo caliper up front, about the same power etc. Do you find the chassis lacking? Fit and finish? What specifically is the problem with the 450SS?
@@stuartstogdill2406. All reviews I’ve seen say it’s fantastic., which I agree with when I ride mine. What did you dislike when you rode one? Or, with that staunch comment, you must own one and are disappointed, so please tell us why.
@@merlelowe2368. I can’t speak for others, but mine has tremendous fit and finish, turns a lot of heads, has plenty of power for its size, slipshifter, Brembo’s with ABS work great, 270 degree crank with a great sound, nice aftermarket parts from AliExpress, etc. I enjoy riding it over my Harleys, Kawy, and BSA because it’s flickable (I know, not a word. LOL)
I had a demo ride on one and seemed nice enough. Sounds good. I suspect the Aprilia would handle a bit better as they have proven to be quite good at chassis development but calling the CFMoto trash seems a bit over the top.
Truly too expensive when you can you can get a 660 used for slightly more.
True, you probably could get a used rs 660 for $8000+, but this bike is lighter, insurance is cheaper, and it's a better bike for beginners.
Slightly more ? It's 5 grand more !
Always compare new vs new and used vs used. And unless someone buys something new, we wouldn't get them used.
@@josh_ari. Agreed, but not just beginners (IMHO). I’m a former motor instructor and ridden/competed on a lot of bikes. I still love the playability, cost, and ease of use of this lightweight category.
1:55 he telling us his not touching the 2nd gear but his in 3rd what a liar 😂
Means he doesn’t feel the need to downshift to second, try being less stupid
Cbr250rr will eat it alive...
🤣🤣🤣
You look Slow.
this would probably rip in race trim. Similarly to the zx4rr. Id like to see what it can make with exhaust and a tune.
I hope we get a Tuono and Tuareg 457.
Tuono is on the way. We’ll probably get it next year.
That's all you need !GATE13SW6CREWCFC CFC uk
The zx4rr wipes the floor with this 😢
