  • Today we're reviewing arguably the most popular electric mountain bike based on how many we've sold: The Orbea Rise H15. This is an eMTB that definitely proves that lightweight electric mountain bikes do have greater range, but it also proves that lightweight electric mountain bikes perform. This bike is definitely the most popular Orbea Rise series bike, and could take the cake for electric mountain bike of the year. Weighing in at only 43 pounds but still packing 60 newton meters of torque from the Shimano EP8 RS motor, this bike won't have any issue keeping up on the climbs. And thanks to upgraded Fox suspension in comparison to last year, you'll be able to take some hits on your favorite electric mountain bike trails. Watch the full review to find out more.

I love my H15, with factory suspension and 4 pot brakes

My son and I each ordered one from FlyRides yesterday. His is orange and I bought the anthracite like the one in the video. Can’t wait to explore more of the Florida trails and then on to the north Georgia hills.

Great review on an amazing super light e-bike and I got a kick out of that Mario Bros sound effect.

I think lightweight bikes are here to stay! The Orbea Rise is a hot bike bike. It maneuvers just like a regular bike, but it has some pep with the Shimano RS. It is one of funnest bikes I’ve ridden in a while.

Have this bike in same color and love it. Back to the big vertical days and have almost 600 miles on it. This bike easily handles some knarly downhills. Fizik saddle was replaced first day. Stock brakes are inadequate and put 4 piston SLXs on. Not a fan of the Rekon tire. Moved Dissector to the rear and put Assagi upfront. Broke the XT rear derailleur and put an SLX on. Couple other people I know with Rises have broken the XTs which seems odd. Stumpjumper carbon is my other ride and split my ride time between the two bikes.

I love my Rise H15 and I swapped out the brakes for TRP EVO Trail quad piston brakes with 203 rotors to give it that extra stopping power

Definitely going to have to demo this one. Sounds like a great option for a lightweight bike

Rear hub developed play in 200kms. Really this elcheapo hub on this expensive bike? Wonder what’s next.
