While pursuing a dangerous arms dealer, the team is shocked when Bishop is implicated in an old NSA leak while Gibbs and Marcie realize the killer they've been tracking may be onto them.

I will no longer watch the series. It pains me too much but it's been a long time since she was on the show
I will probably continue to watch the serie but it will never be the same as when Bishop was in the team.😭

Ok but literally bishop is making everyone cry today. I mean Gibbs was tearing up in the basement, McGee was tearing and choking up in the office, and Nick was also choking and tearing up in the office and now!!

And he's just now starting to get more back on track by quitting alchohol and realizing he doesn't need to be the lone wolf anymore. Because that reason he would never go all out in confession how he feels to anyone close except for Dr. Grace, but we know he loved her a lot and was hurt deeply. I was hurt for Torres. He's been through a lot.

I hate the ending the writers gave to Ellie. I hate that her goodbye to Nick is full of angst. I hate that Nick is going to be angry at her for a long time. I am so disappointed.
I agree with you Marion. The writers wait until couples get close and then break them up. Nick deserved more, he has had an unhappy life in the script. His father left him when he was young, then recently came back, and then goes and deserts him again. Now Ellie has done the same. He will be heartbroken. She was making him whole again. Without any real explanation she has left him and didn’t look back (rule 91). Season 17/18 have seen so many departures for various reasons. The Gibbs story makes no sense. I think the script writers have either changed or lost their way.

What burns me up is she KNEW how it hurt Nick when his father left him - again- without a word, and she tries to do the same thing to him! 🤬
I completely agree: I feel like this ending was unrealistic from a character development point of view. Ellie would have never left Nick like that, not after what they had been through and definitely not after knowing all about his family history.. It would have been more coherent to kill the character (which is in any case the worst ending). I just hope she'd be back for 1 or 2 episodes to fix this

She may want to focus on being a mom, but with the time between the season they could have worked her pregnancy out and have her miss a few episodes after her leave and she "could return".I hope she changes her mind and comes back, but if it doesn't happen, I hope they don't replace Gibbs with the new guy to be in charge, that position should go to McGee.

Because he wanted to hear something else,....like that it was hard for her to leave him or that he meant so much to her.....or something that at least would show him, their relationship meant a lot to her too.....but no...she didn't say anything like this

Hands down this is one of the most heartbreaking scenes, but probably the best acting that Wilmer Valderrama has ever done...
I totally agree - he is normally written as this self-absorbed guy who enjoys flirting and showing off - the fact that he fell in love with Elli and got his heart broken, allowed him (and the writers) to give more depth to his character. Mark Harmon said that the writers listen to the actors' input as far as the direction their character can do as far as developing their character through the episodes. Wouldn't be surprised if Wilmer asked for his character to brecome a little less one--dimensional.
He did quite a good job as FEZ during the early seasons of That 70's Show.
Even though Emily Wickersham has confirmed her exit from NCIS (for now), I suspect this is not the last we see or hear from Bishop. After all, we also thought Ziva was truly gone after Season 11 until she briefly returned in Season 17 where she finally earned her happy ending.
I predict before the series finale of NCIS we will see Bishop briefly returning and the team stepping in to help her with her secret mission with Odette. Hopefully, Bishop will be able to regain McGee and Torres’ trust and there will be a more fulfilling closure between Bishop and Torres.
I'm sure Bishop will return before the show ends and start dating Nick and hopefully Ziva will return one more time as well
I think Gibbs knows something, maybe even Vance. Nick will probably keep her secret, but he's hurt

If Emily does come back it will be in season 24 after Wilmer Valdarrama leaves the show and we will never see them together. Just Like Tiva.

If you never have, then you should watch NCIS LA, I will start posting videos on that from the start because I believe that of all the versions of the NCIS franchise NCIS LA has the best couple/relationship, I LOVE kensi and Deeks, they are so powerful

I honestly stopped watching it when Ziva left & haven’t watched it since then. When Tony left & that is it. I’m so glad I stopped watching it. The writers literally ruin the people we ship! It makes me so mad. I would only watch shipper videos of Torres & Bishop.
I love this show but this season sucked. Not because of showing Covid but because many characters are leaving with bad endings and not really closed endings. At first Sloane her ending was good but they never give the after episode to process her leaving it was like the other didn't wonder why she left now and they weren't sad also the episode after Emily died. Also Bishops ending sucked. Why she would wait so long for confessing something like that?
So sad now that she confirmed she‘s leaving 😢🥺 going to miss her

It would be cool that for the series finale they have everyone who has left the show return such as Ziva, Bishop, DiNozzo, Sloane. Even if it is just for a short amount of time it would be a solid ending to have them all return for one final goodbye

I'm sad Ellie left because she was fun when she debut in the show as a nerdy blonde girl type NSA agent. I'm disappointed that she and Nick Torres didn't get together and hated that she left. I hope one day Emily Wickersham returns and her character reunites with McGee and Torres.

I honestly think the writers just messed up her character in the end. She was Ellie til the last couple episodes, then she was someone else. They probably thought Emily would renew her contract and could fix it in season 19, obviously they were wrong..
Forgive me if what I say comes off as cruel or uncaring but NCIS needs to end because it has gone way past its expiration date. It was a good show but now Gibbs, Abby, Ducky, Tony, Ziva, and Jack are all gone and these new characters are just not interesting enough for me to get invested in. McGee is still around I think but even his presence is no longer enough.

I love Ellie but she is ruining her life by herself she goes for dangerous things for taking a challenge but she ends up alone. I mean maybe she was afraid that the thing with Qasim would hapen again but Nick was the best friend she could have and maybe best boyfriend. He was always protecting her and showed interest in her. He was literally always there for her in the last two seasons. He would do anything for her.
I dont like how Ellie is becoming more and more like Ziva, but I hope she comes back😔
I hate that Ellie Bishop is leaving, and that I won’t get to see any more of her and Nick together. I hate it even more that she is being replaced by Agent Knight/Katrina Law, both on the team and as a likely love interest for Nick. I just can’t get behind her as a permanent character on the show. Something about her rubs me the wrong way.
That won't happen, at least not for a few seasons if the show continues on longer. Nick is going to be closed off for a while and Ellie is not someone he can get over that easily

I really would like to understand why would they do this, weeks after they brought Nicks Dad back, who ABANDONED him at 5. Also, why would you put those 2 together, 2 weeks before Ellie says goodbye. I agree that this is going to make Nick real angry, and hurt. I really hope that they can resolve this at the beginning of next Season. Unfortunately, I think her leaving might make the ratings for this show drop.
That and MH leaving and GC returning to be in charge. Also, the new day and time was a bad choice.
If she really is leaving and Gibbs is too then this show really is just spinning wheels right now.

I don’t know why I keep coming back to this. I don’t like it. It doesn’t make me happy. I loved Bishop and she and Torres were so shippy!
The more I think of this I can understand why she’d leave without saying anything to him. Given her past love life first with Jake at NSA, then Qasim at NCIS, Bishop didn’t want to repeat the same tragedy with Torres so she cuts ties with him I truly believe she did not consciously choose to start something with Torres but five years working together it happened by then she was already ass deep with whatever shady things she was doing with Odette. Its also been in Bishop’s character to be somewhat ambitious seeking challenges going from an intelligence analyst to an NCIS special agent now pretty much going the Carrie Mathison route. Sad as it is this feels like a fitting goodbye.
I am still so irritated they 180* her character from the badass bookworm to mini Ziva. Like they said “you can’t be a amazing or a strong female unless you fit this mold.”

I stopped watching NCIS regularly when Ziva left but I liked Ellie and I'm sad to know that she is leaving. I realized that all female characters departed or died (Ziva, Ellie, Kate, Palmer's wife, Abby, Vance's wife, Jenny Sheppard - Gibbs boss, Jack Sloane, Diane Sterling, Diane's daughter). The only exception so far is MacGee's wife.... but we can never count that the writers, in the future, will not think that it is a good idea to kill her too. All the male characters has emotional issues.... why? Is it a problem to portray people with regular/normal relationships? The writers want to portray Gibbs was a heroe but for me he is a lonely man with a lot of issues.... Gibbs is a basket case. I know this is fictional but it's really strange that one of most prestigious serie only focus in the personal life of the character to show it blown to pieces. Once again the couple of NCIS is destroyed with weird departures.... I'm definetely will not watch it again. I'll stick with NCIS LA.

In the last 4-5 episodes of this season and there was a lot of lines of them talking about taking their relationship to the next stage, I knew that one of the characters are leaving.
Sucks it was bishop, how they were moving through her character development made her one of the most interesting characters.

I think Nick is not being supportive .. For one thing I seen is the conversation about Nicks behaviour I can tell by one thing I know that controls it his drinking . I know for the fact that Ellie Eleanor Bishop knows about it . even in season the season 20 the new season he confesses about his drinking
Yeah because her leaving, but also Gibbs hurt. He had already had his dad come back and then leave again and now Ellie. It hurt him a lot. That's why. Made him turn to drinking more and that's why he finally is getting help from Dr. Grace, opening up to someone, and stopped drinking.

And with addition Thomas Buckner her high school bully as well her personal past involvement as well to . the reason why she left was that with the relationship with Nick addition with Ellie reviving covert ops .

I know I'm late but I'm still waiting (and I think I'll always be waiting) for Ellie and Nick to get the ending they deserve. NCIS has literally torn apart the best relationships on a heartbreaking note. Bring back #ellick and an even better ending for #tiva
Nicholas was right the WHOLE conversation ... and Eleanor KNEW that he was. but Eleanor attempted to leave without saying a word because her feelings about Nicholas wouldn't let her do it. and they both knew it.
08.06.2023 and it's still makes me cry.... I keep watching this series hoping Ellie comes back one day and they reunite .... hope is indeed the crueles feeling in the whole world.... :( They broke my heart....

She left the show because she is pregnant by her boyfriend actor James Badge Dale, they are together like a year now high chance it's an oops baby and since she is close to 40 she does not want to take any risk

I haven't seen this show since DeNozzo left the show. Watching this clip, all I keep waiting for is for this guy to call out to his 'tools' and for them to jump out of nowhere into his belt and start fixing stuff.
Girl I don't remember what Handy Manny sounds like anymore so I need to go look up a video... I keep forgetting he played him since I didn't really know who Wilmer was until NCIS.

If the mother of Ellie's ex-husband came face to face with her for walking out on her son, Jake, would she get rude with her or not? Ellie left Jake months before Torres came to NCIS. Torres' mother would've liked him dating Ellie.

This is why I’d don’t watch the rest of ncis past Ziva leaving 😂😂 It’s another ziva and tony story, except it’s a cheap copy and it failed. They fall in love the girl had shit to hide and problems, which makes her leave and the guy fallows soon after leaving for different reasons..
They should have ended this different. Bishop should have been arrested after kissing Nick. 3 regulars running off in 2 years, 2 under investigation, including 1 for espionage is pretty unreal.
Bishop is gone and never returning. I thought if they killed Her off or arrested her it wouldn’t matter. But again I thought they should have killed Abby off to so
How hard is it for the writers to have a storyline where Bishop leaves but there is a relationship with Nick. She can be there in the background. What the hell, NCIS writers!!!
