I use the suction of the applicator to gently slide the contact down off my iris to the sclera (the white part of the eye). THEN I use the tweezers. I do it this way because it's much easier to see the edge of the lens and grab it, so I avoid continually jabbing at my eye. The sclera is the tougher part of the eye so it's not nearly as sensitive to the tweezers. And before I do any of this, I put some wetting drops into my eyes a minute or two before I begin. I like to give it a couple of minutes to saturate my eyes before I start. I do this because usually by the time I'm ready to take off the lenses, my eyes are pretty dry. This causes the contacts to really stick to my eyes, making them a lot tougher to remove. By wetting my eyes first, the lens is MUCH easier to pull off with the tweezers.

Any advice for me to easily take off my contact lenses? I used the main method like dragging it to the white part if the eye and pinch it, apparently I can't pinch it:( it took me 30 minutes to remove it and i almost cried lol:( please helpppp

Or you could grab it with your fingers

I was looking to see if I could do that… I used the applicator to put it in and it got stuck for a second on my eye ball I got scared, but everything is fine for now…

The tweezers were unable to pinch because of the way the contact was in your eye, it was not on correctly which is why it was moving weirdly and irritated your eye so much ✨♥︎

Love your contacts, love your make up. I also have a problem using the tweezers to pinch the contacts out. The silicon tips doesn't really grab the lens. They kind of hurt my eyes. However, I have seen some other girls did it without any problem. I guess practices is all it takes.

UPDATE: After loads of practices, I have mastered how to pinch the contacts using the tweezer now. No problem at all. Practice and courage with the proper technique is all it takes.

Try to slide the contact down to eye’s white part, then tweeze the lens out. You are going to scratch your colored delicate part of your eye if you tweeze like that ! 😯

Johnny Orlando I would suggest maybe boiling it in hot water for about a 1minhte or so or maybe even using a small amount of rubbing alcohol and making sure you rinse it thoroughly or maybe even do both methods.

No ,this dangerous. Just use the tip of your index finger. yikes

NeickhaSuPRA it’s not dangerous, they’re not “real” tweezers. they’re made specifically for contact removal and have a soft tip. it’s equally dangerous as using your fingers

Using a finger to remove a contact lens is much easier.
