I dont often say this about men but this guy is brilliant. Thank you! My husband has memory loss that is causing My PTSD and 77. As a former RN I have researched and saved this man from RA, Heart Failure, Anaemia, Kidney stones and AF. I am doing most of the things suggested here and more but try getting a fixed sign person who has short term memory loss, to do any thing. I am reassured by this talk. 🙏🏼Amen!

I would add it is important to restore your ability to burn fat as ketones to properly fuel your brain as prevention. If you are a 100% glucose burner from childhood your brain is starving and it will become critical when you develop insulin resistance. AD is the brain shutting down in self preservation from starvation.

Good quality sleep is #1 priority because poor quality sleep can cause anything from brain fog, irritability, forgetfulness, fatigue, junk food cravings, weight gain, anxiety, depression, insulin resistance/diabetes, mental health issues etc. Second healthier diet, good water intake, exercise, crossword puzzles or puzzles, journaling, Art therapy/cognitive behavioral therapies and for God's sake, disconnect from social media, computers, phones, toxic people/relationships, TV and instead get back to Nature as far as walking/hiking/running and getting plenty of Sun, Yoga, tai-chi, talking to positive people, stopping negative self-talk in other words; creating rituals to replace the energy draining toxic ones. Good luck and good brain health everyone!!🌱🌻🌞❤️🥰🙏🏼

You had me up to the lady with ADD. I took a course study of ADD research at the Clark Institute in Toronto with Dr Jain. He and the Institute in California were the leading authorities in ADD research coordinating with the autistic Research Foundation in San Diego, in North America.
What you described was ADHD. Not ADD. They are polar opposites for the ability to focus for long periods of time, it easily distracted- ADD, and, ADHD the inability to focus and easily distracted. This is a common mistake that many make by grouping everyone together, but a very important distinction.

Because one of the major aims of education is to enable informed citizens to be protected from simple-minded loons like Dr. Amen. He's about half right about half the time, and that's not good enough for school material.
      UA-cam? Shure. All the time.
      School? No, thank you.

Why don’t they teach this school??????
Because they don’t want us to know how to be healthy! They want us sick. It’s a billion dollar industry. MONEY

Learning...? I watch/listen a ton of videos on youtube that are informative and educational which I'm learning something new everyday.
Excerise- just today I biked 54 miles in 5 hours lmao I recently bought a bike to relieve stress and listen to videos like this. Before quarantine I was lifting weights
Diet- MY FLAW, i drink too much sugar I'm super aware of this but cutting out is hard. Also caffeine which I cut back a lot.
I been having OCD recently watching a ton of videos to overcome this as well.
