looks like the gaps in the grid are too small for them to get anything out

Them not being able to get to the hay would In fact save on hay. Jk
Your goats look a little bloated you need to be careful with that grain they'll get acidiosis they will waste less dry feed if you give them less grain you have to skip a couple of days sometimes a week when they look like they're getting skinny you put them back on the grain like this you won't have birth complications
