ROFL !! Look at those little brats immediately trying to butt it into submission ! How dare that container not spilling all that hay to the ground ! I'll have to try this. It makes me sick sometimes to see how much of my money is being turned into bedding.
Been doing that with 5 gallon buckets for years works great but you will need way more holes because they will eat out the hole and can’t get any more and the trash can will not last for long need something heavier plastic
I use cheap walmart laundry bins ($7) and screw them to the trees or in the barn on the wall, high enough so they can't climb in. Works perfectly.
That’s a great idea. I may try that next year when we get them into the woods. I like the can because I can keep the hay dry.
Thank you for the video. New friend 👍
Ingenious idea! Hope it works out for the goats. Looks like it might! 👍

So far it’s working really well. Going to rake out there pen so I can really track it well.
I came to youtube to find a recycled easy feeder to withstand rain. Here we are. Thank u!

Check out my 5 gallon bucket ones I think having 4 or 5 around the fence will work better in the long run.
Thanks for your input and ideas. The buckets would definitely be a tougher material.
Could I be your assistance for hay feeding?
Where'd you get a trash can like that for $10. THey cost WAY more than that unless you find one used or broken.
Got it at Walmart.
hould be somewhat usable for about 2 days...
So far they’re not really interested in the can itself but time will tell.
