Going old school with the hammer and nails...nice! Seems like everybody else on UA-cam wants to pull out their fancy pneumatic nail gun or hammer screws home with an impact driver. Nice to see it done differently every now and then. Good job!
Thanks brother. Looks good. Loved the Scripture quote.
I don't need a hay feeder but when I do now I know how to build one. 🤗🤗🤗
Very nice job. Thanks for sharing. God bless
Thank you for making this video. I’ve liked and subscribed. We are getting goats this week. We are super excited. Your video is a huge help.
I like the one I made out of pallets but this ones gorgeous! Well done!
Like the tray idea, will incorporate that on the one I am building
Thanks for sharing
Nice build on the cheap
Excellent job!
New subscriber here pls. Fr. Philippines... Godbless 🙏
Great design and video. I wish you would have explained what you were doing as you went along for the benefit of those who are new to building things!
Finally someone using nails to build something. Take care.
Exactly
sorry i like screws at least you can take stuff apart when you do something wrong
@@frrapp2366 I understand that completely, but being in the construction industry for my entire life I appreciate the use of some ring shank framing nails.
Very nice, thank you for sharing.
Be well and be safe.
Peace
GREAT video,loved it Todd!!!!!
Looks great awesome job and the goats love it ☆☆☆☆☆
great job..... looks good
note to myself : assemble big things IN the goat pan .
haha 👍
informative video thanks Godbless 🙏
I was looking for a simple design that had a tray to catch extra hay and this is perfect! I want to try combining the pallet design you had in another video and this one. Thanks a bunch, super helpful!
Great video nice easy build. How long are you finding that the untreated wood lasts?
Thanks Todd! I was looking for a “cheap” and easy goat hay feeder just the other day and today you drop this video. Perfect timing! Any chance of you and Mrs SSL Family Mom going to that Homesteaders of America Conference in October?
That would make nice furniture. Just get a glass top. Lol
Do you still keep hay in the pen you put them up in at night?
I'm thinking having a platform you know they're going to try and climb on that close to the fence might not be the best idea
screws always are easier
How do you NOT smash your fingers? You must have good aim
2 weeks, a bale and a half. 4 goats. I can't make that goat math work. My pigs (read that as "fake pigs"), all Nigerian dwarfs, go through a bale a day. It is insane. I can push it to two days but the third day there aren't even scraps of the bale left at all.
4 adults and a few nibbling kids at this point.
Oy.
The good thing is one sees what is beeing done. But the the person showing that is not explaining even giving measurements.
