Yep, each of the legions has their own traits and special operators. Gives some nice flavor to the game of Kill Team. Adding Reactions also put more importance to activation sequences, cause you can only react if you haven't been activated.
Yep. It only takes 8 models. The rules are 'relatively' straightforward and honestly, it's just a load of fun. Quick to play when you get used to it cause it's only 4 Turning Points. Great for dipping your toe into the Horus Heresy range.
Those 30K Kill-Team rules are fan-made? Nice battle report. Although to make it more in the spirit of 30K use proper objective markers next time in model form. In that way you tell a story what those marines are fighting for otherwise it looks like they have an e-sport event using paint bullets.
Yeah, if you Google 'Heresy Kill Team' you can find the rules. They are quite well thought and fleshed out. For the objectives, we decided for the first time for a Kill Team report on the channel to keep it 'standard'. Also, the points can only be captured once per turning point and having the reversible objective marker is helpful. But we'll look into more traditional heresy style objectives for future battle reports.
Likely we were too caught up in the rolls. our first time filming Kill Team and there are quite a few rules to track. A lot of things to learn for next time. But thanks for pointing it out. It makes us take specific note of certain rules. We'll 'try' not to make the same mistake again 😂
@@fareastwargaming was very intrested to watch video anyway! Waiting for next one. What legions you have in your community besides Iron Hands and Emperor's Children?
The author of the fan made rules set for HH is working on converting it to 3rd Edition of KT. There is also a version vor the Badab conflict. 💥
That's great to hear! We will now need to find some real Kill Team players to walk us through 3rd edition properly 😂
Is this Ossified's kill team rule set?
Yes. Very impressed with the thoroughness
Kill team HH is so neat, Seeing how each legion functions is super fun!

This is awesome to see. The gate Gateway for people who play Infinity to the heresy.

@fareastwargaming I'm going to check it out. My brother is interested in heresy but an avid infinity player. I plan on meeting him half way.
Your games are really fun to watch.
Thanks for the support. We have fun making them, so glad you enjoy watching them.
Huzzah!!! Keep em coming!
We're looking at more Kill Team cause it's easier for newcomers to build an 8 man force from 40k players 😂
Wonderful, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the battle report!
Jason needs a "Heresy Adjacent" tshirt
We've been looking at Far East Wargaming Slogan Shirts. It's a constant debate for us!
@@fareastwargaming "far east wargaming: we might be far east but we're Heresy Adjacent"?

20:49 why does Iron Hand with plasma gun did not reroll his 1 on save?

For Kill Team, we would have nearly all of them since it's so few models. 😊
@@fareastwargaming pretty excited to see some salamanders or white scars!
Planning to do Horus Heresy kill team at a larger scale using the JoYo figures.
If you are then let us know where to watch! Up scaling all the scenery would be impressive in its own right!
This is 2nd edition I assume, since all operatives are concealed at the start in the new edition (but you can switch right off the bat)?
The heresy rules are on 2nd edition. You set status during the initiative step. But Turning Point 1 it's done during deployment.
