Yes, a potty trained bird is ideal! Great job Bogie! Our verbal reinforcement is ‘GOOD VENT’ and any sink facet arm is the preferable fly to location. (Very convenient when visiting other peoples’ homes) The fluffed up side to side two step squat followed by the bird saying ‘Good Vent’ and hearing the splat landing in the sink basin makes me smile every time.
Thank you for this informative video. If right now the parrot is 5 years old ready, is it still possible to do this training? Does it has to be when they are young & small ?
Hi! I'm getting a galah, and I'm wondering if you can do a video of your cage setup, cage size, bar spacing, etc? I'd really appreciate it! I love your videos! Bogie is so cute!
Love Bogie his very cute. I also have a galah named Ricky. Just a question could you do a video on how to sprout seeds plus what seeds are good for them? Please Thank you your great and have lots of awesome info
I would just start bridging as soon as they begin to understand what you want them to do. At least that’s what has worked for me. I’m sure you can say it as soon as they poop the first time, but I was having issues with Bogie flying off the perch until I put him in the cage to go poop so I didn’t want to add more /confuse him further
I actually successfully potty trained my budgies so this is a really cool video!

My citron crested IS TO LAZY it’s just falls asleep randomly on the couch then poops😂
Every 10 minutes? Wow.
How do you judge when the behavior is ready to have the bridge added?

The ONLY way i would own a bird is it was free
Damn every 10 mins? Are all parrots like that lol
Depends on the species. typically smaller birds poop at a higher frequency but yeah this is what we sign up for! 😅
