I am DYING over this introduction 😂 Also, I am completely amazed at how well this was edited! We went off on SO many tangents but you can hardly tell! It was so much fun filming this with you! Can't wait to do it again ❤️Love ya!
I love this! The power of the wand!! I don't know how anyone with birds can get away without one! You mentioned how important diet is. Your treat can't be powerful if its offered in their bowl. Happy Holidays!!
After just finishing up my reread of Harry Potter, I definitely appreciated your awesome wand intro! Training definitely is magic, when it works. Cheeky still doesn't understand "accio" 😜.
Wow, we just came to your channel from Lana Blakely’s comment section (we also recently started a UA-cam channel) and love your vibe! That was honestly one of the best video openings we have ever seen!! 😍👏 Keep up the great work and hope to cross paths one day and maybe even collaborate on UA-cam if it ever makes sense ☺️💛
I use target training for any desensitization-- for instance I just got a bird backpack and I used the target stick to even get him near the backpack. Then close to the backpack and a few days later Bogie is actually choosing to go into the bird backpack himself! I also use it when Bogie is highly aggressive and I want to distract him OR get him in his cage without a bite. It is a super simple form of training but also very useful!
@@flocklife brilliant ideas thank you so much. I did target train my little girl and she does love any form of training, I just didn't really know what else you can do with it other than getting them to touch the stick or the turn around trick, so thank you so much
I'm not that excited about the idea of someone putting a stick up to my face. Maybe that's why I haven't learned that many tricks. Bogie seems to like it, and look how many tricks he knows.
My Galah is a screamer, she changed two owners before me, I got her recently and she is making me stressed. Night is the only time I can do something and I am affraid this was a bad idea. Now I know why the last owner was in such a hurry to sell her to me. This parrot probably screamed all day and they were nervous because they didn't know what to do. I am trying my best, I want best for her but I will see what is the best option for everyone.

😂😂
Well done.
Loved the Harry Potter intro reference, that cracked me up, very cleverly done. What are the more advanced ways in which target training is useful?

@@capriciouscode9420 that’s not healthy! Parrots can’t eat honey or yogurt! Use fruit or seeds instead!
@@archiesflock7517 just a tiny bite :)
