Roping Practice with Slow Steers

I had a lot of positive feedback about the last video I posted, Gathering Cattle so I thought I would start sharing some of the other activities I like doing with my horses besides just hunting and packing in the mountains.
In this video a I get together with a small group of friends to do some team roping practice. We all had tired horses from the prior two days of riding them so we decided to pull some slow steers out of the pen and rope them.

Finally dried out here, need to work our arena and get some steers in. Last year we still had snow bank at this time, crazy.

Weather is turning nice here. It was a fairly mild winter. I just got a new rope horse yesterday so looking forward to riding him this weekend.
