I know about the bulb auger 😊❤ I planted 65 tulips around the 3 sides of my home. Then our butterfly garden and sprinkled rose bushes. It was always me and my daughter who took care of the yard and flower beds. I'm writing a children's book about our butterfly garden, and the importance of being unique. One set of her grandparents had an issue with my daughter's friends, as most were adopted from other countries. My husband and daughter both took solace in the story I told while planting the butterfly garden. Every flower was different in some way. Some were tall, some smaller, some were bushy some had only one tall stem with each flower, the colors were all different for a reason, even the leaves. Because of that, it would attract bees, butterflies, even hummingbirds. The bees would pollinate other flowers and make honey, butterflies flew miles at a time, pollinating flowers all over the Midwest and other places. The hummingbirds needed the nectar. I then compared it to having only rose bushes in the garden. They're beautiful, but all the same. The same insects the butterfly garden attracted and thrived from (relied upon) would ruin the roses, and quite possibly kill the entire plant. So, you see the importance of being different, unique, because it attracts friends, and people need friends. You get the idea of the story. To this day, my daughter and I plant flowers, even if we're stuck in an apartment. We just plant our butterfly garden in pots. 😊❤
Enjoyed so much listening to both of you chit chat and sew. It's so nice having someone to share your day with sewing. Can't wait to see your quilts and tablerunners when done. Thank you for sharing.
Love watching you girls enjoying your time together ❤❤and working together to get your guilting done..I like working with my friends to,hate working alone 😅
Great sew along …just a ? For you where about is the quilt shop you kids frequent…I live I NE pa.near Binghamton NY are u near or close to …cause summer is coming and a road trip is calling to me ….👩🏻🎨🐑
I wish I could sew with you guys. So much fun listening to the chatter. I don't have anyone to sew with, but I get a lot of "can you make this". They love what I make, even my ex-husband and his wife. Kind of odd, but we are still friends, and his wife and I hit it off the first time we met. She sold 31 Bags, but preferred mine, and used my table runners to display the bags she sold. My daughter raids my box of things I sell for her Christmas gifts. Or, she gives me the fabric to make something. My ex-husband does the same thing. I made pillow cases for his body pillow. He holds it while watching football. I made one with his favorite team and one with his favorite Super Heroes. Their house is covered in things I sew. I usually sell what I make, except quilts. I need to know who's getting the quilt and why. 😊❤
I love seeing you sewing. I just put a chicken in the oven for dinner. So i can join you. I can’t tell you how much I love your hang out. Thank you So much for including us. I am working on my cousins 19 quilts for the grandkids.
Hello Marie! I have an up load of Adalee's quilt that I made for her and I need to get my tractor quilt uploaded as well! Our home should be moved by next weekend. I will be filming that as well. I've been trying to stay busy as it helps to consume the waiting time...😊
I really enjoyed this video. I would love to have a sewing buddy. Can I come up there and join y'all?? 😂 I live in Texas, but it sure looks fun. The video and graphics was very nice.
Marnea, I shipped a box to you last mid week. It came from Long Island, N.Y. I hope you received it. I sent you three “Farmhouse” signs. Maybe one for your sewing area if you decide doing that.
Hello! Yes! I absolutely will!! I am looking forward to doing another Tilda since I lost my beautiful quilt in our house fire. I am already picking fabrics from all of the wonderful boxes that have been sent. It probably will not get started until I’m in my own space. It’s very difficult to sew big projects where i am staying right now due to such a small shared sewing space. I have my Tilda tractor quilt completed and I look forward to filming the reveal & story at scheetz sew creative quilt shop. Todd & Erin have a real nice set up to do great videos there. We will keep in touch and keep everyone informed. I hope to make many better videos as we journey on to our new home & new sewing space 😊♥️
On retreat this weekend. I started on the Tilda HenHouse. Im doing 4houses and 4 girls for a wall hanging. Dreaded the pony tails but so far they look great. Have two more girls to do.
Hi, look up “daydreams of quilts” on the internet search. It should come up. It’s called multi flavored popsicle block pattern. It’s very easy to do and fun to make! I have been putting my rows together this morning and I have staggered my popsicles so that one is high & one low repeated. It looks so nice! I can’t wait to show it in our next video with Erin. Let me know if you can’t find it…
I love the puppies in the basket 😂 I love the images going across the screen 😂😂😂😂 you guys are fun to listen to❤
Thank you!! I have Erin’s husband to thank for making awesome videos!! 😊♥️
