Birding Cub Lake Trail- Rocky Mountain National Park-Woodpeckers, Sapsuckers, Grosbeaks + MANY MORE!

@dnasbirdingadventures #birding heads back to #colorado and #rockymountainnationalpark ! The RMNP is teaming with birds It’s another solo hike to Cub Lake in Rocky Mountain Park. This trail surprised me with MANY Woodpeckers and the Evening Grosbeak. The hike boasts stunning and BEAUTIFUL views, but a little treacherous for me at the end. I actually took this trail to also find some #flowers It’s SPRING! Our favorite part of our joy is getting out to exercise with some target birds in mind. I never know what I’ll encounter! We’re also focusing on our 2024 bird list. I missed Dave and his photography on this one!
