I only came across your channel today and I am so impressed. Your skills with CAD, 3D printing and laser cutting are revelations as to how far the model railway hobby is progressing. It is astonishing that you have so few subscribers and views. Your presentations are excellent.
Thanks , the CAD skills are as a result of many year making models of buildings for architects. As a profession we discovered lasercutting 20 years ago and started to get into 3D printing 12 years or so back. But it's great to be able to use my skill base for my hobby too.
The software is called Rhino 7 , but any cad program will do so long as you can export an "stl" file and you can scale it as required, OO or O gauge. I've made point machines and relay cabinets, see www.old-duffers-chuffers.co.uk
I used cellulose paints for the base colours then enamel for the gold bronze levers and acrylics for the dials. So most paints are ok on the resin prints

Would you sell a copy of the files for the signal box and interior. That is the best signal box I have seen in a very long time
I could sell you a set of the prints, but I don't sell the files -sorry
What software programme were you using?
Final products look really good and like the control panel. The signalman will have an enjoyable shift now!

Nice informative and thorough video. Can I use any paint on the resin or is there a preferred method?
