Same. I could craft but I'm trying to save, the next set will be here before we know it, and ppl will stay dropping like flies cause "not f2p friendly"
I've been using them on my deck! Primeape and Hitmonchan are carrying tho lol because setting up is hard since I only have one copy of Kabuto and Kabutops ;)
People also don't seem to know how powerful primeape is actually. If Mankey doesn't even get hit, a stray blizzard from Articuno can activate it. A poison proc from a weezing can also activate it which would do 120 damage to weezing; making it unable to Koga back. Even going 2nd on Pikachu, if Mankey hits itself and evolves turn 4, that's enough to destroy Pikachu EX in one swing. This card has a lot of potential now. Especially if you open it going second.
@arcanerite7428 ex Articuno is 140. Articuno 18 trainer (the only pokemon in the whole deck are 2 ex Articunos) is a deck that got 2nd at the first invitational tournament. Also EX Moltres has 140 like the match on stream (surviving those 2 turns to try and farm energy before the retreat is huge for that deck). New ex Lapras is also 140, not as relevant, but is still something. Also you could one-shot pokemon like weezing with just primape+Giovanni. There are uses for it.
I opened 13 cards before getting my 2nd mankey. They give you a bunch of free attempts with the hourglasses, and the 4th tier of battles has a 100% drop chance for wins
My main plan in pocket is to play basics that have a 40 attack that cost 1 energy and evolve into something decent most basics have less than 80 life so if you go second and they dont evolve its a ko and then they have to build up whatever is on their bench
Problem with this deck if its going first. Ur mankey can easily get killed before the setup finished. Can use X speed to sacrifice somethIng else. But u will still lose some tempo and mankey might not get hit if u retreat it fast.
Calling Lapras EX bad makes me question how much you looked into her for the 20 card deck format… it’s basically Artikuno on (healing) steroids. Performs incredibly well in a trainer card deck!
This pokemon count seems too high, if you play single prize marowak instead of diglett line, and cut 1 marowak ex you can satisfy your going first reqs and also play gio which solves some harder mus
Nah, Sandslash is a very poor fit for this build. You want Dugtrio as a low investment attacker that can theoretically wall while also doing the necessary chip damage to put some higher HP pokemon into range of a Fight Back from Primeape. Sandslash deals more damage and is beefier, but Dugtrio can attack for decent damage whenever you need, even if all you had at the start was a benched Diglett. Sandslash just can't do that!
Dude this is the best pocket content cuz bro ain't milking nothing and every post is a hidden gem I saw other cc copying and trying to claim as thier idea Smh Thing Is I love alot of the other ones cuz I knew them from other games but tricky is hands down the best pp cc
Guys why does tricky gym seem like he has trouble opening his eyes lately? He also seems like... Medicatively calm? Not trying to be rude. Just confused and concerned.
Tricky Gym has said on stream that more recently he’s been trying to replicate the same sort of vibe as Bob Ross, where it focuses on being super calm and focus mostly on the cards and not be too fast and flashy. I think it is a very respectable choice and a lot of people have been seeming to vibe with it lately 🐖
@pigchefer but do you see what I mean with his facial expressions? Like really, look closely. Does it not seem unusual to you? Like maybe he's medicated?
ive been telling my casual tcg collecting friends to watch your channel :D always love your work and video styles, thank you for posting!
Biggest flip from playing on TCGL is not just getting to craft any deck I want. Went to put this together and realized I’ve never pulled a primate lol

UA-cam is so back
I think Mankey + Kabutops it’s a great pair. Guaranteed start with Mankey and Kabutops is a great late game cleaner with minimal energy investment
I've been using them on my deck! Primeape and Hitmonchan are carrying tho lol because setting up is hard since I only have one copy of Kabuto and Kabutops ;)

I've already played a couple of games with the Mankey promo deck and it's really fun to play while being good.
I think I'd try to fit a giovanni in there somewhere. 140 is a nice number
Yuppp I'm playing farfetchd instead of dugtrio and giovanni is the two cards you get back
Against who? Who are the meta relevant targets that this would necessitate? Mewtwo survives that. Pikachu/Zapdos get combo’d without it.

I literally thought I checked earlier today to see if the mankey cards were the same. I could have sworn they were, but I was obviously wrong!
And with only one Mankey, Pikachu-ex met its maker.
I've missed 6 coins in a row with bonemerang once :)
Withing 20 flips, about 15 were heads
I feel like normal marowak needs to be in this deck so that u can actually get some benefit from going first
I got 5 butterfree in a row and then a clefairy from this Lapras event 🤦🏾♂️
I opened 13 cards before getting my 2nd mankey. They give you a bunch of free attempts with the hourglasses, and the 4th tier of battles has a 100% drop chance for wins
The intro is definitely for new viewers from pocket tcg 😂😂 🎉🎉
Ive been playing this sense I got it in the promo packs today. It is oddly really effective. If you go second it has good synergy
So happy I literally happened to pull 2 of these today. F2P btw XD.
It only changes everything if you have all the cards for the deck lol. Still no primeape in my collection of 600+ cards 😂
Duhhhhh
You can buy it with flair pretty cheap.
Shit luck😂😂😂😂😂😂
@ facts lol. I’m missing lots of key cards for youtube decks.
Exchange Points, bottom right corner when you go to choose a pack to open

They just can't escape the ape's rage 🍫🍫
Great content! Keep it coming! ❤
Dragonshield marketing 10/10. Video 10/10
any way to fit one potion in this deck? would help survive a starmie hydro splash. Or is all the cards a must?
Get rid of some dugs there not that useful
Great video!! New sub!!
I'm just here to watch you, you're entertaining, regardless of what you play
Appreciate that!

Humble Gym is the best. Love the content.

Self spanking mankey is wild
I was wondering why mankey was considered good until I saw the primeape card.
Calling Lapras EX bad makes me question how much you looked into her for the 20 card deck format… it’s basically Artikuno on (healing) steroids. Performs incredibly well in a trainer card deck!
Eh? It got less HP, higher retreat cost, and only one move.
@ The healing makes all the value difference past turn 1/2. I’ve fielded both of them for a fair bit now and Lapras felt way more consistent.
I got 2 Lapras EX and 2 Mankey and I still have 8 event hourglass left
Does anyone here know if you have to complete all the event challenges to draw a Lapras Ex?
I draw my only one before completing the 5 battles on 3rd stage and before the 10 & 20 on last stage.
This pokemon count seems too high, if you play single prize marowak instead of diglett line, and cut 1 marowak ex you can satisfy your going first reqs and also play gio which solves some harder mus
These cuts also finds room for hitmonlee who allows you chip for pokemon with high HP on bench or stragglers who you miss because you whiff gio
7:11 would be better if you could distribute misty energy through different mons instead of given 6 energy to one starmie
If Primeape is fully healed by potion, does the buff go away?
Yes
Isnt Sandslash better than Dugtrio? To me 40dmg feel a little low against these high HP EX Pokemon
Nah, Sandslash is a very poor fit for this build. @@SquidSystem cheers mate. nice insight
It’s more about tempo, you can’t have 2 energy on everyone. Sometimes 40 for one and potential invincibility is better
How is everyone having giovanni but me?
What sucks is marowak ex is the only one I have yet to pull I have every other one
Pocket is just low enough HP and damage I’m surprised no one’s tried to recreate Haymaker or any old school deck.
Dude this is the best pocket content cuz bro ain't milking nothing and every post is a hidden gem I saw other cc copying and trying to claim as thier idea
Smh
Thing Is I love alot of the other ones cuz I knew them from other games but tricky is hands down the best pp cc
Anyone using handscope with red card or is it a waste of slot
Machamp even more irrelevant now. 😢 still the vest in my heart
Make more videos for tcg pocket pls! Thank you
arbok hypno greninja
Bye bye sandslash
Mark my words: Pocket format gonna be broken and no fun like standard just next October.
you should do something with weezing and dragonite, make sure to get rid of dark energy
Mankey gets 1 shot by all the top decks
Yea that’s because it’s a mankey
Yea but those top decks all need ex pokemon to do that this is a basic that for 2 energy does massive damage that's really good
Guys why does tricky gym seem like he has trouble opening his eyes lately? He also seems like... Medicatively calm? Not trying to be rude. Just confused and concerned.
You’re being a dipshit; stop projecting your sick ideas onto people. He’s a new father and as a result, I imagine he’s had some sleepless nights.
