@@Counter_curious is very slow, its a stage 2 with triple psychic energy for one attack. no way to accelerate energy except gardevoir which is another stage 2. maybe if rare candy comes out then gengar will be more relevant, but now no, future maybe good potential
@@raulmontr then can you explain how it is slower than Charizard EX, which is a stage 2 with 40 less attack on 3 energy and the strong one require 4. Don't even talk about Moltress, getting both it and Charizard on field before Gengar is already a problem. Mewtwo is a basic but also requires another stage 2 Gardevoir to support. Its 2 energy attacks also don't hit hard, even with a 10 DMG buff, it's likely that I can already upgrade to stage 1 before you get 2 energy AND a geovanni
This video came out at the perfect time, got my first ten packs, pulled four gengar ex, (1 normal, 1 gold background, 2 city background) and already had two haunter and two Gastly from single packs, was definitely a sign for me to build it
Fossil works best in 4 basic with ex poke, makes zard and mewtwo even better but also buffs rouge decks, to keep evo lines safe, and can give 1 point to save ex and swing after. In my pidgeot melmetal deck fossil is clutch af and i get dubs
i saw another similar deck but with normal gengar, 50 damage 1 energy same effect and with old amber! Good choice cause if someone Sabrina u before u have ur gengar, u throw the amber i win 5 in a row with this
Talking about beedrill wigglytuff, I’ve been playing a deck recently that also has butterfree. I know having three lines is a lot but it’s been working surprisingly well for me. I kinda have to use weird decks rn cause I don’t have all the cards nor enough cards but yeah I run one line of beedrill two lines of butterfree and one line of wigglytuff. The idea is to start out with weedle and/or caterpie and have wigglytuff as an ace of sorts. I haven’t had much trouble with consistency despite having three lines. The deck also has been working very well not even having wigglytuff till the end because beedrill really applies pressure and doesn’t let people set up very much and it’s hard to kill anything when you have one butterfree let alone two on top of running potions. I currently am just running one cause two aren’t really needed. And then by the time you need wigglytuff to come in it has its energies cause beedrill and butterfree don’t need them and it puts the opponents pokemon to sleep. I feel like butterfree is super underrated rn but I’m loving this super unconventional deck.
I want to find a niche for butterfree soooo bad. I don't have Venusaur, so I'll try to use it in a Lapras ex/Starmie ex deck, I'm only missing the Mistys.
I’ve been trying multiple combo with Gengar but the problem with that list is hypno is kinda effect your draw in someway and doesn’t really help to stall the game if you brick hypno too imo
I like running gengar ex with Gardevoir and Mewtwo EX Gengar is really good for defending while I build up my Mewtwo’s energy because he has so much health
I wanna love Gengar EX but the most useful supporters get used too early so Psyducks just seem so much better for it. Of course, this introduces two colors, and Gengar requires a specific three so that just throws this deck our of (q)whack again. I'm hoping the next expansion comes with a better Gengar compliment and some more useful supporters to shut down.
I’m so silly I’ve been recently watching your videos since yesterday and thought all your opponents were dekkster *facepalm* Still new to the game lol😅
How do I know when I’ve got all the cards from packs? Meaning how do I figure out what cards I’m missing from Mewtwo packs. When should I start opening other pack types.
The game tells you which cards are in each pack. Just look at the drop rates in the pack opening screen. If you're interested in a specific Pokémon, look at the missing icon in your cardex, it will tell you where it is.
if snorlax is 200hp .. maybe i will use it xD or they could change its mechanics. sleeping Snorlax has 200hp...awaken Snorlax has 150hp..players can choose which
150 HP seems fat enough for me. It can't tank Mewtwo EX but it can stall a decent amount of 3 turns if your opponent gets an early Misty-Articuno and you have a 20 HP heal.
@Counter_curious i met with few ppl using Snorlax as tank...it back fired badly .. because i left it at 10hp and continue to build up my charizard instead..i even recorded the match .. the person went afk whole game after knowing what was i up to
Gengar will get better the longer the game is out. More supporters makes his ability more valuable
It won't. It's simply too weak and slow compared to even the current top meta decks.
I rather build Pidgeot than Gengar
@@allenlin3050slow? I don't see him being slower than Charizard EX and Mewtwo EX deck. He is slower than Pikachu EX and that's it

I run 2 meowth, 1 Persian. Draw into the Gengar quickly, and Persian can rip cards out of hand
I tried this too but with no persian, feels good to reliably get gengar on field
this UI is fire, i can just skip to gameplay if I want and I still see the deck
Actually the sickest channel name LOL
Snapster was good but Poke Dekks is so fire
Love to see it
he didnt make this deck

Gengars attack power needs to be buffed. 100 damage is not enough for a stage 3, 3 energy pokemon.

For the almighty Algo
Gengar really suffers from Support unlike the RGB unit decks who can search for Energy with EX Legendary birds in 1 energy and also misty for water
W Video man keep up the great work 👏🏽 👍🏼 💪🏽
The fossils do the job in my mewtwo deck because they are a body. And my searchers always get mewtwo or ralts
I use Mr. Mime cause I don’t have those yet
You look like Dekkster/Snappster!
I can’t tell if this is a joke or not, but in case it isn’t, he is.
Just curious is this deck better than the other Gengar deck he made? The one with hypnos?
Gengar + Kangashkan = Gengshkan
The jynx is underrated, destroyed a charizard ex

Anyone know where to find the spreadsheet?
I like hypno because it's sleep effect is so strong
sleep is the worst status effect
@dytk1212 the new jigglypuff from promo pack a vol. 2 is going to have a 1 colorless energy sleep attack and will probably make wigglytuff viable
