- Recently, we were inspired by a video we saw on youtube of this girl who was filming people's reactions to being called beautiful. We wanted to re create this in our own town with people from different age groups.

10 or 12 years ago i was stopped at a street light (in my loud ugly 72 chevy work truck), i glanced over at the car next to me. A woman was staring back at me. As my eyes caught hers she mouthed "you are so beAutiful" I was awstruck. It was the first time anyone had ever said that to me. I cant remember exactly where i worked or which house i was renting back then, but i can drive you to the exact intersection where a complete stranger changed my outlook on life and people all within a 2 second interaction. Thank you stranger

This is so great. 👍 But once you got to the elderly I started crying because one of the older ladies looked like my grandmother (Who just died last month), so it was kind of touching to see that. I wish more people appreciate things like this.

Everyone it's beautiful in their own way, we all have an inner beauty that needs to be reminded of it. Tell your family, your friends, a stranger that they are beautiful, it will make them happier and in reality, you're telling the truth.

It's SO different when you are a guy, and you call a girl beautiful.... at a bar. There is literally NO weight to your words in that scenario.
I think it kind of depends on the context. Because if you're at a bar it's much more common to get hit on than just going to school/work/going about your daily routine as usual. Perhaps it depends on the way one says the compliment and how genuinely it is interpreted. I also think this may be because of past experiences, it may not be you but maybe in the past the girl has only had negative connotations exist behind the compliments she is given, especially at the bar where these kinds of things can be easily misinterpreted.
There's a reason for that. Most guys who have ever called us beautiful WERE just trying to fuck us so it makes it harder for us to believe now unfortunately.
