- I was inspired to do a social experiment at my high school about beauty. I recorded peoples reactions and wanted to build upon it by asking them a question. Seeing everyone's reaction when they were called beautiful made me so happy because it made them happy! In the process of filming this video, I noticed that people don't think positively about themselves and people struggle to think that they're beautiful or amazing. Even me I struggle to view myself that way. But the purpose of this video was to show that everyone is beautiful in their own different ways. We need to start believing it and we need to start learning to love ourselves.
Words are strong, and by saying something to someone It could mean so much to them, no matter how small and simple. Tell people that they're amazing and beautiful. Spread the positivity and the kindness. Show love to others and to yourself. Because we definitely need more of it in this world.

Absolutely just telling someone they look good listening to them giving them a compliment telling those you love that you love them can make such a difference to their self esteem and confidence in themselves.
The world is competitive because the systems we have today are not encouraging the unique talents that everyone is blessed with. Instead everyone is being told to repeat what others have already done years ago, that's the main problem!

We feel ugly because we only see ourselves when we look in the mirror. We never see ourselves when our eyes light up when we talk about something we love, or when we sing a song that means so much to us. We never see ourselves during our brightest times, yet judge ourselves off the harshest.

I'm a freshman, and my whole life, my peers have told me I was ugly for multiple reasons, mainly for acne though. The other day, I saw one of my old friends that I had lost touch with from elementary school. She saw me and was like, "Oh my gosh you've turned into such a beautiful person!" The pain I went through in high school reflects in some of these kids. The sheer level of insecurity and belief they're ugly; the lack of any praise or compliments from peers or parents is palpable and it brings me to tears.

I'm from a different country and am nearing the middle-end of high-school and I never even thought that such young gorgeous people could think so badly about themselves, never before have I seen even teachers show such feelings. It's just sad to watch their reactions in total disbelief when they're told a compliment such as this and even sadder because I can relate to it. I grew up in the foster system and all I can remember is all the bad stuff. I guess my life would've been different if a little boost of confidence would've been introduced in my life.
