"Hey Buzzfeed can I take the week off? I'm going to India with my family." "Sure- but MAKE A VIDEO WHILE YOU'RE THERE."
+starrider k she went to india with her family to spread her grandfather's ashes. it wasn't just some vacation.

Crazy Cat Lady Its original dog.
+Karbi Karlos cat not dog
+Karbi Karlos the pun was no where near original as it has been used many times but the way u worded it was originalish

+TheFilthyCasual I was reading your comment as she said "It's huge" Lmao
More like what Donald Trump said.
Absolutely beautiful.
hey Michelle! there are so many nice monuments like these if you want to see them! south India is a complete different type! we have temples that are over 1500 years old! and there are many good beaches here! if you like spices! in south India we make the most spice filled food and our staple food is rice! come and see south India!! you can see ruins of an old kingdom!!
Yup!
I love seeing people so excited about things lol
me too lol
michelle is so adorable i love her so much!!!
I agree.
That is Cray Cray.
So basically she put her vacation on buzzfeed
she did a lot of stuff with buzzfeed india.
Going to India is like a bucket list entry for me.
I saw the Taj Mahal in 2014... It looks unreal in person
"Cray cray" I love her dad lol
Ah mitam I see
#BUYMADEINTHEAMONITUNES
+Aneri Patel not her dad...
+Profanity ? yea it is...
At 33 seconds , the guy sitting next to her is her father... i know because ive seen in him a parent video
One of the reason why Michelle is my favorite person at Buzzfeed is how relatable she is. She's like a ray of sunshine every time she smiles.
I'm sure India is super amazing and beautiful when you have the comfort of going back to your first world country
When i went to India, the second thing I saw was the Taj Mahal its was so beautiful and the moment i saw it I was mindblown.I really thought it was a painting. :)
Lol nice joke cause your name is Indian and u are Indian lol
+Shezaan Max just because im Indian doesnt mean i live in India. And it wasn't a joke ive only been to India once
now buzfeed visit all the 7 wonders for the first time
LARRY HUG
+suryadi taufan your profile picture is giving me the larry feels
The pyramids are the only of the actual 7 world wonders left
buzzfeed has time travel?
Heba say emb hai babes :( :)
she's the cutest ever
She is so cute
The Taj Mahal is too beautiful to not be seen in person is the only way to really capture how amazing and wonderful it is. Use to live there when parents were traveling for work and got lucky enough to see it in person.
I saw the Taj Mahal when I was younger! I remember it being GORGEOUS!! We also had to take off our shoes bc you know... respect and the marble was super hot so I was hopping around for a while. There were also a lot of green birds inside.
Wow, this is awesome. Michelle should definitely make more videos of her traveling, she's amazing. And so is the Taj Mahal. Definitely on my bucket list as well.
I'm Indian so I have been to the Taj Mahal. The second time I went was with my friends on a school excursion in 7th grade. I had seen it before so I was like "It's no big deal." but when I saw it, it was a POW in the face! It cannot be described.
I'm Indian too and this year we were going to see it but corona lockdown had to happen😅😅
Weather is gorgeous. Stunning marble craftsmanship.
"cray-cray"
the love story behind the taj mahal is so beautiful!
+AbbyLuvs 2Cheer but she didn't tell you(probably she didn't know) that sharjaha (the guy who build this monument for his 9th wife mumtaz , who died from delivering her 13th baby ) cut the hands of 22k workers so they don't make another taj ever , he was later sent into imprisonment by his own damn son for rest of his life in a small room of size 7 feet x 8feet (where he used to stare at the taj till the day he died)
the reason behind the imprisonment is believed to be the insane behaviour of sahajaha , he was planning to build the black taj mahal and his son was afraid that he might end up throwing all of their money and power ....
these thing look beautiful but they have terrifying dark history , most of these rulers were tyrants , except akbar (dad of sahajaha) they used to punish minorities with unusual punishments (4th degrees tortures) they forcefully converted all the hindus and other religion people into muslim ,those who resisted were killed brutally ,raped etc....
+Kartikey Sharma oh all I knew was that he built if for his wife, and that both of their graves are inside and that his grave next to hers is the only thing not symmetrical there
+AbbyLuvs 2Cheer And made-up
the story about taj mahal is not very appealing. Trust me you don't know the truth.
Uncle Google I have been studying Indian history for last 10 years out of interest, I know what I am talking about... Tho you won't get that story on Google but I have seen actual proof in front of my eyes... I went to taj multiple times just to study it history
been there, done that, wanna go again. India was amazing. If any of you ever go just visit some temples. I went to one and it was so beautiful, but we weren't allowed to take pictures or wear shoes:^^
+kathie O'Regan because in hindu mythology it is believed one should not wear shoes in god's home since they are not pure and dirty.
photographs are also not allowed to be taken bcoz ,these are not monuments , they are temples
+Kartikey Sharma ironically i am an atheist born in highly religious hindu family :V
+Kartikey Sharma same!
completely unrelated but shes so pretty😵
I'm going in January next year and this make me SO EXCITED!!!!!
yay!! seeing foreigners admire our country makes me feel so proud n happy... :)
I've been to india like 6 times and I've never seen it lol I'm always too lazy to drive all the way over there
I live In india and I've never seen it 😂
+bhai rankar me too
I live in india and i have never seen it
What I do when I see a popular comment on a different video:
1- Copy
2- Go to the most recent buzzfeed video
3- Paste
Iam an Indian and I havent seen the taj mahal in person 😬😧
me neither
me too -_-
me too! :(
+Jagan Joseph I saw it ONCE when I was 5 but I barely remember anything
+Jagan Joseph me too
as an Indian-Australian who has just recently visited India with my parents (because they wanted to visit family ect.) and visited the Taj Mahal, this is
Very relatable :)
Her dad lowkey looks a lil like Kajol's dad in kabhi khusi kabhi gham
aaaahahahahahhahhahaahahha
alok nath😂 babuji 😂aashirvaad😂😂😂😂
u mean aloknath...???😂😂😂
It's even funnier when you realize only Indians will get it
Omg I LOVE Michelle she's so funny and genuine
Taj Mahal - تاج محل - "Crown Palace" in Persian was built as a tomb for Mumtaz Mahal, wife of Shah Jahan, one of the most notable rulers from the Mughal Empire.
+Hana Zener Diode i watched your diode video a day ago and now i see you here.. omg this is weird
+Hana Zener Diode you mean in Arabic. Smh.
+آلجۅد no she means in Persian lol smh
+aL Quarter Ahahahahah small world eh?
+Hana Zener Diode Sorry to contradict. But Shah Jahan was not even near to be called 'Notable'. Unlike Akbar, he did nothing for the people except building Taj Mahal.
I remember in 2014 when I first saw the Taj Mahal, I honestly couldn't keep my eyes off it of, it was so beautiful and such an amazing experience.
an American Indian sees taj mahal
its not necessary to add "Indian" dude
+jocybridget 50-55 % Indian
+jocybridget True, but I doubt here parents and or grandparents were born in America. So I don't think she can be fully 'American' then =p
+Kal El What is "fully American" then? Is our own President 'not fully American' because one of his parents were born outside the USA? Smh
+4bitnetwork The ones who had ancestors that were involved when the genocide off native Americans took place in the 1700s.
Michelle is absolutely STUNNING.
Jealous of her teeth woah
Its the pride of India, beautiful
tawj mahawwwllllll....seedha bol lo...
I have been to the Colosseum in Rome. These ancient structures of history truly are breathtaking. I cried when I had to leave Italy. My favorite place in the whole world. You can learn so much in one trip than you ever could from a book.
I didn't know like anythin about this but OMG that's amazing
0:28 I FELL DOWN! That was so funny! I love Buzzfeed and I love every member of it including Michelle :)
she really pretty
I love this architecture it's so so beautiful
I know this is random, but Buzzfeed should do a video about what it's like to be afraid of the dark.
Yes I WANNA BE A PART OF THAT VIDEO
+Twinkled Twinkiez I hate the dark ='(
I knew that she has always wanted to visit India from telling us in a precious video and now I am really glad that she got to see it finally. :D
she was in India and didn't tell me?? ;(((
I would have ridden an autorickshaw from Chennai to Delhi/Agra to meet her if I had to!!
It looks so beautiful!! Wish I could be there!!!
American sees Angkor Wat for the first time.
yaaaass xD
adorable family
1:27 triggered my trypophobia.
I'm so jealous right now. This is on my bucket list as well.
I too also have my own bucket list. Too bad it's full of vomit, beer bottles and my arm right now.
I am soo proud of my country
Basically shah jahan cut off the hands of those 20,000 people who made the taj mahal so they dont remake the same thing
that's not true. It's folklore.
It's a lie but there was something about it not being replicated I think cause I learned about this this year I'm a sophmore
+gourima singh babbar The architect's hand and not of the 20,000 labourers.
the architects not the labourers
Love the idea of this video. It would be awesome to do a world tour series to show irl what these places are like. More... MORE!!
You can get a bus from america to india!?!?!?
Wut
Lol no she must hv gone to new Delhi with a flight and then from there to agra
+Homsey Saunders Yes or a flying snail!!!!
Wt?
+Glidahh it was a joke
she's sooooooo beautiful
If i wasn't poor I would totally go see it! Lol
I've been to the Taj Mahal and it was absolutely beautiful ❤️
0:23 lol ;)
lololol xD
So jealous. I would love to see the Taj Mahal!
I mean, it is beautiful but
There're these points and places that are marvelous and all that that are shown to make the place look beautiful
and then you see what it looks like for the poor people.
I went to Belize this weekend and we tipped this waitress and said it was for her and she shuddered in fear and said no thank you and insisted us not to give it to her. Apparently 50% of that tip goes to the owner and the rest gets split on the bartenders/waitresses/bus boys it's sad :( it's such a poor country, 1 USD is considered 2 belize dollars
She could lose her job apparently or get beaten if she kept it according to our tour guide
+Idaneli Castro Eh depends of where you go , most of the west doesn't have much poverty exept Karnakata . India is ranked 40 on poverty ranking of the world , 1 having most poverty , . If you go to states like Kerala most of the people in the rural areas look exremely poor but in reality they are pretty well off .
Lerzid Marino
True but I still feel the same, the places with really poor people are devastating to see. I saw an article recently at some special, holy place in India where plenty of tourists go and people marvel at the spirituality of the people but all you have to do is look at their water source and there are just rotting corpses of people who's families couldn't afford to burn the bodies...
May I ask where was this?
Michelle is just so adorable
The American Woman is a Indian Woman and the Taj Mahal has nothing to do with the Indians or Hindu Culture !
+Gregorius Stefanovski What do u mean to say, i really didn't get your point
Yes, it has everything to do with proud Indians
Rohan B Shah Jahan's wife was a Hindu, so i think it has to do something with indians or hindu, ab ye usko kon samjhayenga.
+Gregorius Stefanovski India is not a Hindu country dude!
+ac pehowa .India is also known as HINDUstan.if you still don't get it,it's the place of hindus. The ignorance is real in your reply.
Who doesn't love her she's so CUTE
+Stefan Paniccia what's with you and isis they aren't good people
+Stefan Paniccia your profile picture and comments are irrelevant.
+Marcela McDaniel that profile picture just screams troll tbh
Someone goes to Israel and sees the western wall and the Bahia Gardens
Snafu Ha true! oh wait a minute... Considering the fact that the Arab population is growing in the Gaza Strip and West bank so there is no way there is any genocide going on. The war crimes would be going on in Gaza and The West Bank so I doubt that any American would ever want to go there. Especially if they are not Muslim. And yeah the religious tension has been there since before the Crusades so of course there is some religious tension. But as somebody who has been to Israel, I can tell you that luckily the only religious tension comes from minority extremists on both sides, not the general public. But other than that, so true Sanfu!
Oh my god her teeth are gorgeous! How do you even get your teeth to be that radiant of a white!
MICHELLE ARE YOU STILL IN INDIA OMFG
She got back a week ago I think?
I have been to both places last August with my parents. It was so beautiful. I even bought a tiny marble Taj Mahal from that place.
