I don't know how many times I have been watching dis
Adorable, a child with a future of security and happiness thanks to you
I am adopted myself and that nurse is a real angel 😘😘
That nurse is a real angel!!!!!
Nurses are angels I met two nurses that were angels in my time..❤️
what a gorgeous little child. They were meant for each other
I can't watch this story without crying. I was put in foster care at six months for a year with two different families. I was adopted at two and a half year but, unfortunately, there was a lot of negligence growing up. Knowing that Gisele is receiving the love, the care and the safety she needs to grow up healthy is the best thing in the world. The power of love is truly amazing. This story is my inspiration to keep looking up to what is beautiful in life and to carry on. Thank you Liz and Gisele.
I am glad to see Liz and Gisele have bonded and are doing well together!
How does this not have more views? Just when I give up on the human race a story like this gives me hope for humanity.
Exactly!!!😕
To the wonderful folks at Franciscan Children's:
In 1990, recently divorced, I met the love of my life while working for a transportation company. I drove her several times to FC to pick up and drop off her son, who was there for psychiatric treatment. Chad is now a healthy, happy 35 year old, and though his Mom has passed on, we still see each other regularly, and are, to each other, father and son.
It's very nice to hear that your facility is still providing the same level of care I became familiar with 30 years ago, and that Gisele's story has turned from what could have been tragic to a dream come true!
God bless you all.
your late wife and you are angels, and for that reason you've made your son amazing. god bless
IN THIS VIDEO I SAW TWO ANGELS..!😇😇😢
GOD BLESS YOU!❤
What a beautiful story. I wish them both many years of happiness!!!!
What a lovely mum and daughter and a beautiful outcome.
She's not just a nurse, she is a living angel. A wonderful angel mum and a beautiful daughter. I wish you both have lots of happiness in the future.
She has a stunning beauty
I know the mother and father of this baby. The parents just couldn't get their addiction under control. Breaks my heart.. But glad to see her happy.
@MICHELLE Parks apparently the father is but not sure about the mother. She also has an older brother.
Are the parents on Facebook? Just curious to see what they look like. The little girl is just absolutely adorable.☺️
The little girl is beautiful. I love the eyes .
What a delightful child. And what a heartwarming story this is. I hope not only that Liz and Giselle will have a long, full life together as mother and daughter, but maybe people watching this will consider adopting a child with unique needs.
First of all, I would like to thank the nurse for all her hard work as being a nurse and taking good care of all your patients. I'm really sorry you had to wait this long to finally have a kid of your own. Hope for the best for the both of you. :)
Liz, YOU are an angel made flesh! I hope you and Giselle have a wonderful happy life together, both of you so deserve it. Sending all the love to you x
Words of wisdom spoken by this woman. Best of luck to her and kid!
What a beautiful beautiful story
.❤️🤗
She's looking at Santa but also looking at Mom through the monitor. That is really love!!!!!!
I really love how this mom was incredibly non- chalant letting her daughter be "free to be" on air instead of the "poised" and "proper" little girl that society tends to deems as preferable etiquette. Bravo mom for not trying to control your daughter and making her sit quietly and "perfectly" and for not apologizing. I feel we all apologize so much for circumstances or behaviors that are natural and essential to feeling true to ourselves so BIG KUDOS to you for allowing her to be her free-loving & wonder-filled curious self and for not feeling ashamed or embarrassed on her behalf!!!! 👏🙌👏🙌
I think people are catching on to the fact that kids will be kids, and they shouldn't grow up too fast. They really only need to be restrained if they're out of control or getting into danger.
Amazing. God places little angels all around us. And he sent her to you. God bless you both. Just Beautiful!
God definitely put these two angels together , this story brings tears to my eyes
I was immediately bonded with her at the hospital. Really unbelievable!
Did anyone notice that when Giselle kept looking back at her mom when she was walking towards Santa????😀😁😂😄😃😆😊😎🙂🤗😇
That's awesome. Liz knew what she wanted to do when she graduated from the Hasbro School of Nursing at the age of six!😀😁😎😇😄
Bless both their hearts. Hope for many years of happiness for them both. God is good!
As my drama teacher used to say - Barking, burning, babies. You'll always be upstaged by dogs/animals, fire and babies/children. Adorable.
Liz your a very special Lady and Gisele looks to be blooming under your care.😘 I agree John Culley Angels come in all shapes and sizes.👍
An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL story. Ty from one Nurse to Another❤️SC Nurse.
Liz is the perfect parent for Gisele with Liz's medical experience as a pediatric nurse.
God Bess YOU Liz..... she is an angel and you are hers!!!
I love Giselle's hair - it's so curly!
Angels come in all sizes and shapes.
God's timing is always perfect.

Giselle is watching her mom on the monitor. How cute!
God bless you million times for giving love and home to this beautiful angel 🙏
Very touching, with an awesome ending.
Adoption of children who have been abandon or remove from one or both parents can be a long process. We adopted our granddaughter. We had her since birth with moms consent, and like this girl she had no contact. Our son not in a position to care for her gave up his parental rights and moms was taken away. My daughter will be 21 this month. We told our daughter she was adopted. She now occasionally sees her biological mother and my son sees often.
The foster/adoption agencies have to be extremely careful. Prospective foster parents have to have a stable income. They also have to have a background check as well.
I think people can't stop picking her up, she's so pretty
I have a feeling she’ll be an actress one day.
Actresses do drugs
Dangerous line of work to be honest. I'd rather her just be happy and healthy with a modest path in life
Awe she’s singing Twinkle ✨ Twinkle so cute ❤️❤️❤️
I noticed that when Gisele went over to see Santa, she was looking back at Mom!
God sent that baby to you
I'd love to be a mom one day but finding the right partner is very difficult. I'm thinking of adopting in my 40's and focus on my career in my 30's. Single motherhood is looked down upon in society but for some it's a choice. I respect this woman. She turned her tragedy of not being able to have her own children into saving an innocent child from the foster care system.
She might be a model one day😇
Just so fascinated with everything she sees.
what a beautiful girl.God knows how to do at his way.🌸🌸🇲🇹🇲🇹
This is not only a baby, she is an anegel! Love this baby so much. God less you for giving this child an opportunity!
That little girl has the cutest dimples and the best mommy in the world!
Gisele looked like a doll when he picked her up. Cuteeeeee!!!
It had to be the hardest day for the birth mom to realize that the drugs had taken over her life so powerfully. I can't even imagine it. Her blue eyes came from her parents. And kudos to her birth mom for not aborting her. I am sending prayers to Gisele's birth mom and father. I pray for their health and well-being. I truly hope that they are able to get clean and someday reunite for Gisele so she knows she is loved by all.
I know the birth parents very well her real name is Jesselle and this whole story is based on lies considering that the birth parents have pictures with her since she turned 3... Both birth parents are clean and have been to many illegal things happened in the Arlington DCF office before it was based out of Rockland MA and she was due to come home within 8 weeks but then they moved and got assigned a new worker from DCF and from there things all went downhill!
That was neat that Liz graduated from the Hasbro School of Nursing at the age of six. She knew what she wanted to do so early in life!
OMG! Giselle is so cute! Liz is the perfect mom for Giselle!
She’s so beautiful
Giselle is SO pretty!!!!!
Hay i was born on october 18 too . She should make her mom proud one day. I accidentally found this story while image googling about celibacy.
BABIES ARE THE BEST !!
Very nice
Thank god she was saved from druggie parents.
Please do your research before u judge I know both birth parents and this whole case was just complicated
She’ has beautiful dimples
She is a doll and she has a doll

Liz is her mother. She adopted Giselle.
Giselle has the most curly hair!

That's funny, seeing Gisele in a sombrero!
😍😍😍😍❤️🙏😘
I HAVE TWO SONS WHO THE USN DECIDED I SHOULD NOT SEE THEM, IN 06. IT HAS BEEN 20 YEARS SINCE I HAVE SEEN MY SONS.BETWEEN FAMILY AND USN I WAS AND HAVE BEEN FORBIDDEN FROM SEEING THEM. STEALING THOUSANDS DENIED LEAVE SO ANOTHER MAN COULD TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME
The biological parents had the parental rights terminated.
adoption is not a perfect solution. Gisele will someday be informed that she has a biological mother and that will cause trauma. to avoid that, I wish the Commonwealth had not rushed to take away the parental rights of her biological parents who were battling the disease of addiction. Would the Commonwealth have done that to parents who were battling leukemia? foster parenting is also not a perfect solution but it should have been extended and may have been a better route as it was a temporary measure that would have allowed more time to keep the family whole [if that was going to be possible]. I am not the least bit concerned with Liz Smith's need to be a mother and it does not justify removing a child from its parents on a permanent basis.
This can definitely be true sometimes. But her parents didn't seem capable or willing of visiting their daughter in the hospital in this case. Who knows, this may have been a decent outcome this time. It's very difficult to say without all of the details
@@TeonDeus you touched on a point that I wanted to make re: the parents suffering from addiction. it doesn't make them bad people. addiction can be a temporary health crisis if they are willing to get help. if they are controlled by the addiction, their behavior will not reflect who they really are. in 2019, don't we know this now?
The parents didn't once visit her in the 5months she was in neonatal icu, they litterally left her for dead. Addiction is a very serious disease but it does not excuse the brain damage and birth defects they caused her and their careless negligent abandonment of a premature infant, that is child abuse. Gisele is better off without them in her life.
wh@@JulianneHannes you just demonstrated the ignorance that persists in society re: drug addiction. you called them out as "bad people" who should lose their child to adoption. Right now, the child is better off with someone who can care for her. In the future, that may not be the case. I daresay that the trauma of adoption will prove more damaging than what little Gisele has thus far endured.
j v I know several people throughout my life who have been adopted. They all turned out to be great, healthy adults. One of them is my husband and he said if you were raised right with a strong loving, supporting family since you were adopted as a child, you will soon realize your adopted parents are your true real biological parents. And it is true, if you were raised in a hostile environment when growing up, or with bad foster parenting you will end up having issues and regretting you were adopted. I trust the nurse will raise that girl right and she will thank someday for her mom's right decision.
Love to both mom and daughter. Amazing story and amazing people.
She's not just a nurse, she is a living angel. A wonderful angel mum and a beautiful daughter. I wish you both have lots of happiness in the future.
