IMHO Corden is an overly sensitive, bigoted and hypocritical jerk. The reason I stopped watching isn't because Craig left but because Corden replaced him. Corden's seeming intolerance towards any opinion he doesn't agree with is just infuriating. He puts on a mask of a 'fun-loving show host' but if someone shares an opinion he doesn't agree with, he'll go out of his way to shame them on his show or condemn them on social media. But then again, viewership isn't declining on the show so I'm just going to have to accept the fact that the people who share my view on him aren't a majority. The fact is, if the show continues to be watched, then there has to be some entertainment value to Corden that the rest of us just don't see. I'm personally fine with that. I don't have to watch it, so I don't. I'd much rather rewatch Craig, but it would be foolish (and hypocritical) of me to say that Corden is objectively a bad or unfunny host. As begrudging as it is to say, he really isn't - it's a subjective matter of course.
@@hassi44 "I'm just going to have to accept the fact that the people who share my view on him aren't a majority." I wouldn't necessarily say that, I think it's an entirely different demographic. It IS completely subjective, but I have a tough time imagining many fans of _this_ show, being big fans of _that_ one too. Seems like he's trying to do an Americanized "Graham Norton Show", but he's no Graham Norton, so it just comes off as insincere, schlock. Tom Lennon reminds me of Robin Williams. Extremely intelligent, quick, hilarious, and just a little bit self-conscious. It's cool when he totally relaxes and gets funnier and funnier.
