I understand the aspect ratio argument if they are in full screen but surely theyre worth a watch to see if you actually like the movie then before looking for the widescreen or upgrading 🙂 because if the movies bad it saves you money 😅
That’s a fair argument. My only thought is that the chances of me watching these once are pretty slim given my collection, let alone twice. So if I’m going to spend the 90-120 minutes once, I want to make sure I’m watching it in the right aspect ratio where I’m seeing everything I’m supposed to. I get your point, for sure, though! Thanks for the comment and for watching!
@@Cinefessions yeah i totally get that and its all about enjoyment at the end of the day so you want the hest experience possible i understand mate some great pick ups there enjoy your movies 🙂
I feel like The Holiday should be in everyone's collection. It's a great Rom-com based around Xmas/New Year's time. Love Mr Poppers Penguins! This was an awesome box! Lots of interesting titles. Much better than the 2nd & Charles boxes. Theirs is usually very common titles. Cool unboxing!
Thanks Miranda! I actually went to keep Holiday and it ended up having the wrong disc inside , which was super disappointing! Anyway, thanks for watching!
that to joey, with love is about the country duo Joey and rory and their rise up the country ranks but it also talks about her battle with cancer and having a child with down syndrome, it's a very good but emotional documentary
Fun to see what was in the box. Personally I would have been happy finding The Great Santini and Gorky Park for my collection. I actually only just recently picked up the special edition of Lantana, one I have wanted for a long time.
I went to keep it because others have said the same thing…when I opened it up, a different disc was inside, haha! So lame. Ah well. Thanks for the rec!
Mortal Thoughts was a good movie, Branden. I agree with the other viewers. Why not give it a watch to see if you like it, then you can seek it out in the format you prefer.
Thanks Carolyn! I’ll point to my other comments on that one, but I appreciate the point. Just not something I’m interested in doing. Thanks so much for watching!
Kindergarten cop on DVD never came on wide screen. Universal did release it on Blu-ray in my screen. As far as it coming out on 4K I haven’t seen it advertised yet.
The holiday is an excellent movie you really should check it out at Christmas time . My wife loves this movie. Maybe your wife would like to watch it with you
I love you videos. Watched all of them but I think people have gotten spoiled. Just because the movie is full screen is no reason to get rid of it. Widescreen, full screen doesn't matter. A movie is a movie regardless of the format.
Thanks for watching! That’s what’s great about having personal collections: we are all free to collect how we choose, and I would never encourage someone not to do what they feel is best with theirs. I appreciate the comment, and thanks again for watching!
I don't understand the thinking that Full Screen is worse than No Screen. Why not just keep them, watch them, and then replace them if you like the movie?
I definitely understand where you’re coming from, but from my perspective, the chances of me watching these films once is slim given the collection of my size and the time I have to dedicate to it. Therefore, if I’m going to spend the time to watch it at all, I want to make sure I’m watching it in the closest way possible to what was intended, without losing 1/4 of the image due to the framing. That’s why I choose to get rid of those that are in the wrong aspect ratio. I understand if not everyone agrees with that; you’re entitled to watch movies in literally any way you choose. But, that’s how I approach it. Thanks so much for watching, and the comment!
@@Cinefessions I would at least keep the full screen until I replace it. I don't like full screen either but I'd rather have a bad copy than no copy. It's cost effective to watch full screen for cheap and then replace it, instead of buying a replacement you may end up not liking. Us collectors all have different quirks.
You are correct on that Green Street Hooligans movie and you are also correct that there were 3 total in the franchise.
Thanks Jonathan!

Agree
Don't let go of Lantana! That's a criminally underrated film that deserves at least a watch 🙂
Perfect! Thanks. Glad to hear that.
Gotta say Lady In The Water is amazing!! One of his best movies to date at least.

I love the Blind Mystery Box videos. Makes me want to go out and purchase one.
Thanks, Tony! Yeah, they’re a lot of fun. The trick is finding decent ones, which I feel like this was. Thanks so much, my friend!
Jerry Maguire is a great movie. I like all 8 of Cameron Crowe's movies.

Nice! I’ve heard a couple people say Lantana is great, so I’m excited to check it out. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video! I find these mystery box videos so fun to watch. Looking forward to box number two.
Thanks so much, Jon!
I’m with you when it comes to movies that were filmed in Widescreen they should be released in widescreen .
Yes! Absolutely agree.
I think the correct aspect ratio is extremely important to fellow collectors. We want to see the movie the way it was intended. 8:59
I totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Great mystery box Glade there was some good ones in there.
Thanks Andrew!
Mortal Thoughts is very good! Keep it! Good People is good too. The Great Santani is very well known movie.

The Blind Box video's are super fun....but do they do a blu-ray version?
Thanks! Unfortunately they don’t. They’re just trying to get rid of their dvd overstock.
love, LOVE your mystery box videos, hope you do more!
Thanks, Juan! Hoping to grab a few more this weekend, lol. Thanks again!

You should keep Jexi its a decent flic
I actually looked it up while editing and it sounded a lot more interesting than I expected. Thanks for the rec!

Monsters ball does have that questionable sex scene in it, is it real? Is it not real? You be the judge
Ah, ok, so I wasn’t crazy. I thought there was something about that one, lol. Thanks so much for watching Mike!
The Great Santini, a lame made for TV movie put in theaters.
