Hi Branden! I was one of those people who tried talking you into keeping a full screen DVD to watch it and decide if you like it. You made a very good point today. I didn’t realize you have about 6k movies. I understand why you probably wouldn’t get to watching a film a second time around with all those movies in your collection, and why you want to watch it the first time in it’s correct aspect ratio. Thanks for doing the unboxing series! July is my birthday month as well, so I view this as a gift to me! Lol!
I agree with you of what you said about full screen DVD's you want to see these movies in the correct aspect ratio as it was intended. I do that as well, but there are exemptions like older TV shows because they did not have widescreen aspect ratio back in 1950's to the 1990's for TV shows. There are older movies from the 1920's through 1950's that were not available in widescreen. The last exemption are TV movies that were only filmed in Full screen not sure if there are TV movies that were filmed in widescreen. I enjoy watching these movie blind box video's so keep doing them even those it's fun opening a blind box and not know what you are going to get ,but it can be a risk and a gamble. That's why I personal don't do them. I will say in the last movie blind box video you did I have seen Jack Reacher and I thought it was a decent good action thriller even those I am not the biggest fan of Tom Cruise, but I have seen and watched Rain Man. I enjoyed that film of his just in my opinion would not watch Jack Reacher again. I also seen most of Monster Ball I could not get through that movie it was a little bit disturbing to me so I had to shut it off. Enjoy the video and have a good day.
I am 100% with you when it comes to full screen. The only time I add those titles into my collection is when it’s the only available format for that title. The Nail DVD’s are music videos and I love the Project 86 videos on those discs. Really great band! Awesome video! These mystery box videos are really fun to watch.
Yeah, exactly right. If fullscreen is the OAR, or it is unavailable otherwise, then I'm good with it. Any other instance? No thanks! And I'd be happy to send those Nail DVDs your way if you're interested! I'll reach out on instagram. Thanks for watching, Jon!
Totally understand about full screen in my collection I don't have full screen either in my 3000 or 5000 collection I have. Good haul. Love mystery boxes love to go to 2nd and Charles when they have them even though it is an hour and half away from me. Amazing viedo as always keep up the good work.
Had to add one more thing. After double checking, Runaway Jury is based on John Grisham’s book. I find that I really enjoy both the book and movie versions of his work. Other movie/books of his are The Firm, and Pelican Brief. I would say if you run across that title again, give it a watch.
Tooth and Nail was a Christian rock record label releasing stuff in the 2000s. Some really great artists came from their label… MXPX, armor for sleep, anberlin, Mae to name a few. Great show dude!
That is a nice edition of Jerry Maguire. I love Monsters University & Rio. Coyote Ugly is great. Not as good a box as the first, but at least you found some keepers.
I ended up keeping that edition because it was much nicer. I just put the bonus disc in the broken side in case it wants to fall out, lol. Thanks so much for watching, Miranda!
Isn't that Vanilla Sky the US version of the Penelope Cruz Spanish dvd you got in the same box???? pretty sure its a spanish version of a tom cruise flic
One time i accidentally bought The Stepford Wives (remake) in the Fullscreen version from Goodwill. I was so annoyed even though it was just 2 dollars.

Vanilla Sky is a remake of the Penelope Cruz movie Opens your Eyes. Also Ballistic: Eks vs. Sever I remember being very dumb but fun.
Tooth and Nail was a Christian rock record label releasing stuff in the 2000s. Some really great artists came from their label… MXPX, armor for sleep, anberlin, Mae to name a few. Great show dude!
Another great video. Love your analysis. Keep it up.
Thanks, Jesse!

No more baths yeah that sounds like skipper Branden lol I like Ballistic Ecks Vs sever a mountain between us looks like a cool movie
These are fun! I think the first box was better.
Thanks, Misty!
You’ve literally got enough physical movies to get you through an apocalypse if one ever happened.
#facts --- let's just hope the electricity stays on, haha!
On Golden Pond (1981) was Henry Fonda’s second to last movie.
Wide screen is best I agree.
Just ordered Mean Creek. Looks solid!
Very nice!! I hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching, Louis!

It is! I just didn’t realize it at the time, lol.
One time i accidentally bought The Stepford Wives (remake) in the Fullscreen version from Goodwill. I was so annoyed even though it was just 2 dollars.
You don't use CLZ to keep track of your collection?
Nope, I do use CLZ to track them. It’s a great app. I use their movies and comics apps.
Mean Creek and Seinfeld are keepers
Definitely kept those! Now I gotta get the rest of Seinfeld, haha! Thanks for watching.
Munich is a true story, and I highly recommend it.
I’ve added that one to my list of Blu-rays to find. Gotta check it out. Thanks, Mike!
Full screen, euww
Open Your Eyes is the original Vanilla Sky. Not as good as the remake, but probably worth a few bucks.
Thanks! I pulled that one out to keep!
Rachel, getting married my wife loves that movie . I think maybe your wife might like it as well.
Ballistic is purely a terrible terrible movie.
