Yeah frodo the cat 😺 steals the show in a quite place day one 😺👌🏻 . Dressed to kill is one of my favourite Brian de Palma movies its fantastic 🤩, body double is ok , nice pickups tim mate 👍🏻
Amazing haul Tim 🤩🍿🙌🎸🎶 Nice VHS additions there 😀🍿📼📺👌 ‘Parasite’ is absolutely superb; can’t wait for Bong Joon-Ho’s latest film 👍👍 I need to check out more of Abel Ferrara’s work; I recently bought ‘Fear City’ 👍 I love to check out more Japanese films on the Tartan Asia label and the 88 Films side label too; you got awesome taste in Film my friend 🙌 I watched Inglorious for the first time the other week and thought it was amazing 🤩 ‘Robot Dreams’ is really good; such a beautiful Animated film 😊 Kingdom is a really solid P.O.T.A film; one of my fav films of last year 👍 I hope we eventually get Were Rabbit & ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ on Blu-Ray down the line 👌 Not seen Devil Hunter; had it on my to watchlist for a while! Love to delve more into Clint’s work; Good; Bad & Ugly is my fav Western and one of my fav films ever 🤠 Keep up the awesome work Tim 🤩
@samglendenning9884 Thank you Sammy, appreciate the comment and the kind words. Think it was Fear City I was trying to remember. Japan has some interesting films. Gonna get more westerns too my friend
Great pickups Tim, The Sorcerers is a good film, watched it recently on Legend and enjoyed it. I keep looking at picking up Body double, i do remember enjoying that. Thanks mate.
Great video Tim you got some really fun titles there a good mixed bag😊 I remember being slightly underwhelmed by The Little Girl who lives down the Lane, but the more I sat with it the better it got. Definitely an interesting one. At Close Range and True Romance are great 🙏🏻 I also just picked up The Addiction the other day too so would be interested to know your thoughts when you watch 😃 A lot of titles there I haven’t seen but great selection. 👌🏻
Cool Update as usual Tim, some interesting and varied items. Those HMV Premium Collection Blu Rays look very cool, if only they shipped to USA I would grab a bunch of them. I saw some of 1984 for an English lit. class in high school, and holy cow is it depressing, but very powerful at the same time. It was British icon Richard Burton's final film before his death not long after. Europe's VHS cases are way better looking than what he had here in the States in those days. I like the artwork and how the boxes look, brings back quite a bit of nostalgia. Glad to see you went with Sergio Leone's Dollar Trilogy as your first foray into the Spaghetti Westerns, excellent choices. I've seen that set get shown off before, and it's not a bad way to package the films. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is the best of the trilogy by far, but the other two are very good too. Arrow Video is going to be doing a 4K release of A Fistful of Dollars soon should you want to upgrade in the future. My dad is a huge Wallace & Gromit fan, and I enjoy them a lot as well. We had VHS tapes of them forever, then I got the DVD set, but not the Blu Rays for some reason, one of these days though. We still need to see Curse of the WereRabbit and the new Netflix film. A lot of people tend to forget Jodie Foster started out as a child actress; she mainly did TV back in those days. The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane was one of her first times as the lead of a film I believe. I saw Incubus years ago on Turner Classic Movies and it wasn't too bad actually. It's a film about witchcraft and devil worship if memory serves right. It was an experiment from an Indie filmmaking group to test if people would be interested in seeing films done in the Esperanto language, a language created by a professor years ago that for a time was hoped would catch on as a universal 2nd language, but didn't quite catch on that internationally. The film was almost lost after it was abandoned when Milos Milos, who played the Devil, murdered a woman he had an affair with and took his own life and one of the actresses also doing the latter not long after a festival premiere. Bad luck surrounded the film for whatever reason. Now it's a cult classic. Take care my friend, hope you're well and speak to you soon.
@tvnash Thank you pal, an epic and really well wrote comment as usual. The book of 1984 is a literary great so high bar to hold the film up to. Thank you for the information on Incubus, heard it is known as a cursed film that was almost lost and of the Esperito language though wasn't sure of the origins of the language. Haven't seen any of the Sergio Leone Trilogy though if I enjoy the films as much as a lot of people then I shall probably upgrade. Know you are a fan of your Spaghetti Westerns and inspired me to pick the set up. Keep smashing it on your channel, gotta catch up with a few of your videos my friend
Well enjoy your Zombie Flesh Eaters vhs Tim. Remember, I sent you the disc so you don't have to wear out the tape. - And with Night Of The Zombies, I believe it's on disc too with the burns I sent you a while ago. You have a genuine DPP 39 Video Nasty there, everything is 100% authentic excepth the "Focus Video" clamshell case, but I admit it's still a very good one with all the movie releases. And this "Strong Uncut Version" tape gets more and more in demand. Will contact you in a while when I'm near-ready to send you House On Sorority Row vhs mate - keep collecting, it's already very impressive👍👍
Great haul there matey.. and nice to see you grab Belko Experiment.. set in a companies tower block.. great film that I really hope they'll give us a sequel to at some point.. 😎👍 I've got Devil Hunter.. terrible film but one I still needed to add into the collection with going for a full section 1 and 2 set lol
@XFile2708 Thank you matey, gonna watch The Belko Experiment when I get the chance. Yep there are a few we have to buy through gritted teeth if we wanna get all the Video Nasties
Great haul and video Tim. I enjoyed that. I'm really interested in Rampo Noir. I have and watched Horror of Malformed Man and loved it. It's really twisted and that one sounds like it is in a similar vein. I recommend Mother off that Bong Joon Ho set. I really liked that one. What a filmography that guy has.
@roybarratt5609 Thank you Roy, Rampo Noir is interesting. Caterpillar is the best of them though they all have their positives. Think I am gonna watch Mother next off of the Bong Joon Ho set and yes from what I have seen so far he is a great director, Parasite is a great film and The Host likewise
Great haul 👌👌👌👌👌
@HomeCinemaEnthusiast Thank you pal
