Thanks for putting this up, Robert. The rise of fascism/authoritarianism and xenophobia around the world today -- including in our own country -- have caused me to return to this film that I saw as a child. While the film itself, as excellent as the performances are, has too blatant a religious agenda to be recognized as a masterwork, the soundtrack is superb and deserves to be considered among the greats from that era. Again, thanks!
