Wow, I'm so glad you mentioned leaving your hair dry when you're first starting the detangling. I've been wetting mine first and you can only imagine the damage I caused trying to get the tangles out that way 😩 a wholeeeee mess!! Thanks for the tips!! 🤩
your welcome!!! dry detangling is a MUST first
This is a much needed reminder!
I was so exhausted 2(?) mornings ago, that I totally forgot this important step! 😣
After nearly 7 days, too! (My usual is a 3-4 day wash n go)
I literally clarified my scalp, washed my hair, then used a new hair mask as my main detangler.
I was lucky that my hair didn't suffer! I won't be making that mistake again!
I hope you and yours are staying safe and doing well!
Thanks for the vid! 💖💖💖
God I'm so glad I've found you! I'm 24 and only just starting my natural hair journey. I've got no one I know to help me with this sort of thing and so I've been scouring through youtube, searching for tips and tricks and mostly just for someone with hair as long and curly as mine. I'm still trying to get the right tools but I can't wait to try these techniques out! Unfortunately my hair is still much thicker/denser than any youtuber I've found, but hopefully things work out and I don't have to give up doing my hair all myself. Wish me luck! 😭💖
Take care, be safe, best wishes for this time of trial. BTW you look amazing as always! ♥
you too! thank you
We needed this!! Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your welcome!! 💕
I always have problems with matting and fairy knots at the nape of my neck! I'm just keeping it in a protective style until this quarantine is over. Wash and go's seem like a waste of good hair right now, lol!
makes sense!! I wanted to do the same but right now during this season my scalp is too dry for a protective style but if i could let me tell you i would! lol
Yes.
Yall, wish me luck. For me, even going like 3 days without doing my hair, its hell. I'm about to get in the shower and I'm dreading it😭
Wow your hair grew already
THANKS A MIL finally exactly what I was looking for
I will try it out 😘
your very welcome!!
Are many things you schampoo your hair
I’m curious- I see the shampoo you use has sulfates which I have heard is not good for curly hair. I have dandruff and I have curly hair and I have not been able to find a single anti dandruff product without sulfates in it. Do you think it’s worth it to use a sulfate product for the dandruff and how often do you use it?
Yes because if you have dandruff you need to treat it. And non-sulfate shampoo’s do not have the active ingredient that treats dandruff
After I started watching curly hair vids on UA-cam and i was introduced to the CGM i just ditched all my sulphate products and started using Cantu and i developed the most itchy, annoying dandruff ever (when I used sulphates I never got one flake). So recently I realized I was in denial blaming my flakes on puberty or whatever and started using head and shoulders shampoo. I've only done two washes with it so obviously the dandruff isnt completely gone, but it's not itching at all. It's crazy. I'm gonna keep using it and see what happens.
THANK YOU
you're welcome!
My hair has been in braids all quarantine cause I was not trying to deal with it 😂
Sooo smart !!
My back always the longest and most tangled
😍
Wow! Amazing
I tried lol!!
What did you put in your hair?
coming soon!
And also, first of all, why are my knots/tangles just little balls most of the time? Second, does anyone else get these?
I’ve been keeping my hair in twists. It’s low maintenance, less manipulation & my hair stays moisturized for a longer period of time before I need to wash. Plus I’ve noticed that I shed less hair & my hair just looks & feels healthier having it in this style versus always having it in a wash n go. This will be my go to style till this quarantine situation is over because there’s no point in a bomb ass wash n go if no one can see it 🤷🏽♀️😂
I think twists are my next style lol we’ll see though 😂
