Hi, I know you asked Lexi but I also have pretty long hair, and to be honest, I don't think that there is "normal" in hair breakage becasue it depends on how you treat your hair at the daily basis and what you do with it. I will recommend you from my own experience with it, to buy proffesinal scissors and just when you see a split end, even if it is minor, just cut it because either way it is going to stay and get worse... hope it helped you somehow😅
Mary alsina I would suggest once you research what kind you need to get, you pick a knock off version. Denmans are usually 20 dollars (or you can buy the real Denman, I just prefer to save money😂)

Hey Lexi just out of curiosity do you apply a leave in on a daily basis or are there days where you just skip it?
i just apply it on wash days or I use a very moisturizing styler where i wont need a leave in conditioner and use only one product style my hair

Breakage and split ends are not the same thing
If i use some curly treatment products like argan oils or smooth shampoo a day after i got knits thats why i only use menthol shampoos :*(

You can go on Amazon. There's actually a few different kinds of Denman brushes that vary based on size and amount of bristles.
