Thanks Simon, you mentioned Customers, Orders then subscriptions but surely if you want to link the orders to the subscription you'll need to add the subscription before orders?

Any idea on how to transfer "woo commerce payment" subscriptions? Same gateway, different site.

What if we followed the process and it doesn't say Next Payment Date when you switch to the user?

Hi Simon, thanks for all your videos, its been really helpful. Slightly off topic, do you know if there is a way to update the shipping rates for renewal orders in woocommerce subscriptions? We are about to launch our site, but I just realised I dont know how the shipping will be dealt with if a customer changes their shipping address or if the rates changes (we currently have a "rates at checkout" integration active, which calculates live rates for initial orders).
Thanks again for all your hard work on publishing these videos

Yes for sure! Are you using a specific plugin to calculate the shipping rates or adding the shipping rates manually in WooCommerce plugin settings? If you are using a specific plugin to calculate live rates what plugin are you using? I recommend using AutomateWoo to set this up. You would create a manual workflow to bulk update all subscriptions to calculate the new shipping rates. See more about AutomateWoo here: sgwp.dev/sht

Thanks Simon. We are using a plugin called Uafrica, used in South Africa where we are based. It pulls in rates automatically based on live courier quotes. Let me give automatewoo a shot.

If I have a customer subscription in stripe and I recreate it in WooCommerce like this, do I also need to cancel the subscription in stripe to ensure they are not double charged?

Hello, I have the same question in mind. How can we ensure that it wont take double charge to the customer?
It will be much appreciated if you responded from this comment!

Great video! Do you know any way to migrate all the subscriptions from stripe automaticaly to woocommerce subscriptions? Because I am working on a project that has more than 100 active subscriptions and the company wants to migrate to woocommerce. Do this one by one could be a problem

What product is the client selling? Have you checked out the Stripe customer portal as well?
If you really need to migrate subscriptions from Stripe to WooCommerce you need to checkout the WooCommerce Subscriptions docs: woocommerce.com/document/migrating-subscribers-woocommerce-subscriptions/?aff=24778. Basically I would migrate them using a CSV file. But if there are only 100 active subscriptions may be faster to just do these 1 by 1.
