Hi, thanks for this. How do you have the allow switching option check box there for simple subscriptions? I only have this for the variable and grouped subscription. Many thanks for your answer in advance.
Hello Simon. I do the same as you explain in the video, but instead of with variable products, I use grouped products, which also serves to switch between subscriptions. The thing is that I want to implement a change from a monthly subscription to an annual one, but when I do it, the date of the next payment is not set to a year ahead, remains the renewal date of the old monthly subscription.
when you do the opposite (yearly to monthly) next payment remains same too. I guess this method does not work for people who was both yearly and monthly options.
Thank you, Simon. I have four variable subscription products with different prices. Product A is for one month, product B is for one year, product C is for three years, and product D is for four years. This is my problem: When I switch from product A (one month) to product B (one year), it shows that I have downgraded and that my first renewal is next month. However, this is actually an upgrade, as I am moving from one month to one year and it should expire next year. How can I fix this?
Thank you for this very clear video! however I still have a question : woocommerce Split orders into several shipments in order to ship subscriptions over 3/6/12 months?
Simon, how can I hire you to set up a product for me? I want the option to have monthly or annual subscriptions. I have a current monthly subscription but would like to add an annual option if that is possible. I just want to make sure I have it right. Do you do coaching?
Hello Simon, I have 3 abonnement plans. Free / A (1.000$/year) / B (2.000$/year). How can I prevent a downgrade from product B to product A during the 1-year contract period? Can you help?
Hey! I have a WooCommerce Abonnement issue! When I have i.e. a product with 3 variations 50, 80 and 100€ and I buy the 50€ one. When I then update to 80€ I need to pay 30€. Thats fine. But when I then upgrade to 100€ I have to pay 70€ so it calcualtes 100€ - 30€ instead of 100€ - 80€. Is this a known issue or can anyone point to a setting where I can adjust this?
Hey Simon! Appreciate a lot of your info, so thanks for the vids :) I've got a question I haven't been able to find an answer for. I've got what seems like simple products, but behind the scenes there's some complexity. My main question is this - is there a way to create a subscription product that subscribers can change at their choosing whenever they like? For example, I have a product bundles that customers can select 4 different flavors for said bundle. Rather than the custom getting the same flavor bundle every month, is there a way to allow them to change flavors from month-to-month if they decide they want chocolate, vanilla, caramel and mint one month instead of chocolate, lime, mocha and cake? Thanks!

After updating from 50 to 80 did you have the next renewal order process after upgrading.
@@simongondeck yes it appears as an order as well in the customers dashboard.
