I made this yesterday. It was everything you said it would be...comforting, satisfying and quenched my craving for sweets. Today I added some rosemary and thyme to it for variety and an extra kick. I also added a cheese combo of Asiago, fontina, Parmesan and provolone. Such a wonderful comfort food...thanks so much!
Made this last night for dinner. Tweaked a few things. Veggie broth for chicken broth and dried sage instead of fresh. One of the best bean dishes I've ever had. Very, very hearty! Tasted better today for lunch.
made it using chicken stock and used spinach i/o chard. oh, and brightened up with a bit of lemon juice in the end, because i didn't have any white wine. deeeeelish. thanks shira!
Oh, this is how I make my garlic bread: Toasted thick slices rubbed with a raw garlic clove! Burns the tongue, a little....and goes well with any soup, stew, or salad. I love Beans & Greens in the colder months, especially if I'm feeling under the weather....Thumbs Up!
That's really a very good treat!! Very delicious soup 👌👌👌 You are an awesome cook 👍👍👍 Thank-you 💜💛 so much for your lovely video 😍😍😍 Happy New Year 🎇🎊🎉🎈🎈🎈
looks amazing. i love your wonderful flavorful ideas! a question, please. where i live, we do not get sage. what can we use instead of sage as a flavoring? thank you!
I don't drink alcohol either but I do keep some dry white wine in my kitchen for cooking. Pretty much all of the alcohol gets cooked out of it so it's just there for flavor. Also, wine helps to tenderize meats when cooking soups or stews.
While cooked garlic isn't as effective, raw garlic has over 100 sulfurfuric compounds that are effective in aiding our immune system to fight off infections. In clinical trials it has proved to be efficient in the erradication of many parasites, as well as lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Please do more research instead of just taking in what Fox News has to say.

My husband can't chew crusty bread, would Polenta be a good substitute?
Two words: “Hells yeah!”
Two more words: “Dinner tonight!”
hi; what vegetable stock do you use ? looks nice and thick
Yummy! One of my favorites!
Great recipe! Will definitely be giving this a try please do more vegetarian recipes like this
Gone crazy with variations of this soup, adding a tasty pork sausage, dress with pistou, all in the last month being off work. Crazy coincidence.
Yum definitely trying this!

debbylev Rosemary or thyme will be good! Or add bay leaves
lOOKS AMAZING!!!
oui! très délicieux!
What can I use instead of the wine? Or should I just skip that step?
LOVE U SHIRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delicious...
Hi there, does anyone know what pan shes using?
Thank you for this easy and delicious looking recipe. Is that ciabatta bread?
It looks like a Ciabatta bread and even if it isn't, it would be a great versatile bread to use. Plus its easy to find.
Thanks!
I am making this on Wednesday. Gonna add some lemon herb chicken on side.
Wine substitute?
Can you replace beef broth with bone broth?
Hi, nice recipe! Can you tell me if I can avoid using wine?
Geeta Monpara Just don't use the wine. Skip that step...Maybe just do that part with a low sodium stock.
Geeta Monpara I'd use broth instead of wine. I do not drink alcohol and buying a bottle if wine would be a waste for me.
I don't drink alcohol either but I do keep some dry white wine in my kitchen for cooking. Pretty much all of the alcohol gets cooked out of it so it's just there for flavor. Also, wine helps to tenderize meats when cooking soups or stews.
Thank you all so much! I will try with the broth instead. 😊
No need to qualify every statement with a "sorta," "kind of," "almost," or other modifier. Own your recipe. Looks yummy!
good
I love your video ma'am but there's no written Recipes... Please try do that, would you?
Any recommendations to substitute the sage out? I'm not a fan of it's flavor.
I'll bet Thyme would be nice, or a small bit of Rosemary. Rosemary is a strong herb so a small bit would be sufficient.
I agree - a lot of tuscan beans recipe use either rosemary or thyme also.
I love a small amount of oregano.
That looks amazing but I wouldn't call it a stew. I could probably eat this everyday for lunch too.
Wheres sarah
I would X the bread, add chunks of chicken breast and substitute chicken stock for the vegetable stock, but a very nice recipe. ty 👍
Looks good but a soup should have more broth.
I love it! I love her! I love seeing Mediterranean food on youtube!.... but I cringed so hard when she said 'blaunc' 😖
Needs recommendation for wine replacement for those of us who do not use alcohol in cooking
Skip it and add lemon when serving!
What nationality is that hairdo?
use escarole. use escarole. use escarole. use escarole.
That dish needs a big old smoked ham hock.
All that stuff about "immune-boosting" is just not true. Just do some legitimate research

o2mwater Call the food police. This woman is obviously deceiving everyone with her delicious recipes.
I'm with you on this. The recipes are cool, but the health claims are rubbish.
It's the placebo effect.
o2mwater i dont know if it True or not but it sure sound like buzz word. The more you hear it the more annoying it became.
