How To Tie In A Flat roof With A Shingle Roof - Legacy Flat Roofing & Sheet Metal

- This latest project was in early December in Lambeth Ontario for a residential home that had an existing sloped or shingled roof that needed to tie into a new flat roof that we had created.
This one took a lot of work, we had to clean off the snow and then melt the snow and get the roof dry so we could work on it!
We had to remove 2 courses of shingles so that we could create the transition in a way that even when the roof is covered with water, ice and snow that we would push the water away from the roof and of course make sure it has a water proof seal.
There was an area where the flat roof went under the existing soffit, so we had to close that area off with plywood, create a membrane over it, then put metal flashing over it to give it a nice clean look.

Instead of wind-garbled "talking head" shots how about some shots showing the actual steps? This video should be called, "Talking About Tying In A Flat Roof with A Shingle Roof But Not Actually Showing Anything".

Not enough of what actually was done. I think you assumed that the viewers are all pro roofing people, not amateurs. We want to see how you did this, not just the beginning and the end result. I'm still looking for a decent step-by-step video of how to do this.
Might be a much more informative video, if you show each step in the process....otherwise, it's just an advertisement for the company.

I would have liked to have seen how the part where the adjacent roof hung over the patio, and then after you enclosed it, wanted to see the very end that would be visible from the ground. It seems hokey, but a visual how that enclosed piece was finished on the exposed end would have been nice.

All the action is happening just below your website banner and all anyone can see is you speaking and the part that you're working on that we all want to know about is behind the website Banner in your video. Maybe think about shooting the important part of the video in the middle so your website Banner doesn't block the Salient information

Unless I'm mistaken, at 2:00 it appears that the valley flashing of OVER the asphalt shingles.
Also that valley made no sense to me. What is the point of a valley on top of the shingles.
Building Code approves open valley (exposed metal) like the one you see in some regions.
