Sea Doo Switch Sport 230hp walk around and lake ride

What a cool pontoon. Sea Doo has made a fun and exciting product. Great job thanks. Just picked up my Sport 18 230hp. The 5th contact on the trailer plug is activated by the vehicle backup up light circuit if vehicle is equipped with it. This engages a solenoid in the surge brake system that deactivates the brakes so they don’t lock up when backing up. If you don’t have a backup light circuit on your vehicle plug, you can use the trailer back up lock-pin to deactivate the trailer brakes when backing up. Just make sure to remove the lock pin when traveling, or you will not have trailer brakes.

Thanks for watching. Unfortunately some dealers are not as honest or good as we are. We work hard to be a great dealer and focus on the needs of our customer. Our management team is in constant contact with BRP to make sure we get our share of products based on our performance. Even before the Covid stuff we have always been a strong dealer for BRP doing it right for the customers and making BRP look great along the way. Most dealers are multi line and dont care to sell BRP products thus that is why they have lesser sales and find it more difficult to get units because there sales was not strong before the Covid sales. But we have several Switch pontoon in stock right now. We have been getting them in for the last two months.

Thanks for watching. It would work for fishing. BRP does not make a trolling motor mount for this. But aftermarket companies I am sure have some mount that would work. BRP does have some rod holders that mount to the rails.

Hey y’all, couple of questions if ya don’t mind.
What are they like to winterize? I’m from New England and never had a jet ski, more of a Malibu guy. (but the Mrs wants a pontoon boat next summer).
Also any idea on the height from the water line to the highest thing on the boat? (I’ve got to fit under a low bridge to get to our main lake)

Thanks for watching. The winterization is pretty straight forward. The Motor has it own coolant so it does not need anything done to the motor for winter storage. The fuel will get stabilizer and the Exhaust will have water in it so it has to be flushed with Antifreeze so it dont freeze. But that is the winterization process. As far at height. I will say it close to 9-10 feet from waterline to top canopy. But the canopy can be let down super fast and easy if that is to tall.

Thanks for watching. With a 4 people we got the 230 in an 18 footer up to 37mph on our lake. Calm water. That speed is nice and with the motor below everyone it is really easy to talk to everyone while traveling at higher speeds.

After break in our 21/230 cruise hits 43 on calm water. The 18/230 sport should be a bit faster.
