I believe first rocks plan was to keep her out of everything while balalaika does her work. When the japanese girl counterattacks against balalaika first he tries to negotiate their live,since balalaika doesnt HAVE to murder them as well. When she refuses he basicly goes "oh well,then could you be so kind to PURGE everything relateable to the yakuza so the girl has no choice but to back out?" But then again,the girl still choose to fight and die.
What I love about this show is all the alliances are very loose. Even Rock and Revy who it seems at this point, are close now. Rock respects Revy and Revy sees something in Rock's honor that she wishes she had but she knows she is to far gone and doesn't want him suffering the same fate.

Balalaika's bodyguard is ex spetsnaz/paratrooper and all of her men too, they are mastered in pain and though being shot he can shoot back. Remember they played all nights with the vampire twins and in the end kills them like birds. So, if she kill their boss, surely they will kill all of the black lagoon company.
Revy is amazing but im not sure this time. That guy, the rigth hand of Balalaika is a russian old soldier wolf with an amazing training, and Balalaika herself is one who can stand with Mr Chang, who can even surpass Revy skills. It wasnt to end well for them
