The Qintex sale obviously fell through; they couldn't even pay what they owed Universal for co-producing *The New Leave it to Beaver* and distributing it in Australia. This makes it a coincidence Uni inherited the *Child's Play* sequels. Perhaps if MGM/UA had hung onto them, the studio might not have ended up in the hands of Giancarlo Paretti or they might not have ended up bankrupt.
@@smartpug967The idea was that more people would rent movies than buy them, so they overcharged the video stores for their tapes and they made the money back through renting them out.
The price is because distributors and retailers (Video store owners) would buy copies to stock their shelves. Also: Chucky-Doesn’t give away the movie. Also Chucky-Shows the movie to store owners to convince them to buy copies.
Can you please pass me this vhs? or interchange it? I have these vhs: -Return of the living Dead -Exorcist II revised version 1983 edition -Halloween 6 The curse of Michael Myers -The Exorcist 1979 edition
To this day, I still miss the youthfulness that Chucky’s voice use to have! I wish it still sounded like this.
This is gold. Thank you for posting this

The Media Hoarder my request Question is do you have the rare 1979 pilot called ‘’ The Paul Williams Show” if you do please upload it?
Pretty scary figures huh 😂
Is that Brad Dourif or did someone else do the voiceover?
It doesn't sound like him. Sounds more high-pitched.
It sounds like Billy West to me.
@@artistwithouttalent It is Him. he is really younger here. I prefer him here
@@AGoodGuyCalledChucky pretty sure it isn't him

The 89.95 was done as a bulk deal for retail stores, not for private customers
Customers could still buy them at that price if they really wanted to.
@@TheMediaHoarder I know but a lot of people assume this was DIRECTLY aimed at comsuners
Can you upload poltergeist tv spot
Can you upload poltergeist tv spot
89.95? Seriously?

That was the price to buy enough copies to sell. Not just for 1 single video
