Being the 1st person to walk on the washed smooth sand, is the same feeling as walking though new snow. Simple pleasures of life are the best. Well done C.W.T.
Oh yeah!!! Wow, another video... looking a bit dangerous and I haven't seen it yet!!! I was just working on a bit of watercolor painting that has the colors of Kayanace Cove waters! Just a beginner but love that particular beach with it's rocky coast and beautiful Aqua waters... blends of greens & blues. You two are quite lovely to share your time with us. I too fancy sea glass and odd shaped seashells. Thank you and God bless you from a California Gramma ❤ (San Diego)
Ooooh lovely!! You are so so lucky to live in cornwall. My wife and i have been visiting there for many years and plan to sell up in suffolk and move there for good,in 2/3 yrs😍😍😍
Looked down on to those beaches, when on the circular walk from the car park round to the little church, then back up hill to the car. Quite a few years ago now, don't think we could now!
Hi Sarah and Andrew thank you for this walk. We had planned to do the three churches walk around Camelford but decided to do this instead as it was closer to home. We loved it and like you had the beach to ourselves. We collected quite a lot of plastic that was on the beach so felt we’d done our bit for nature. The views over to St Mawes were fab.
I love the winter beach for the same reasons you do; Southern California also suffers with crowds of tourists in summer. Beautiful sketch/watercolor, Sarah! Your doggie was certainly in his element. The funny thing about secrets...near my home there is a tall hill with three streets that circle it at different levels. To get down to the old shopping area, one must drive around and down the far side, so in the 1930s 4 sets of stairs were built under the Works Progress Admin. to connect the streets for foot traffic all the way down. They are called the Secret Stairs. I laughed so hard the first time I saw the label for them pop up automatically on Google Maps!! Thanks to you both for another great adventure in Cornwall.
You could do with a helinox chair Sarah that you can take with you. Foldable and very lightweight but will defo help you with your sketching etc. Anyway lovely video.
Thank you for this, it really cheered me up! I like to watch your weekly videos on a Saturday morning before work, puts me in a good mood. I've never been to Cornwall but hope to one day soon. Keep up the good work. Lovely art, Sarah 🙂💖
Hi Sarah and Andrew, lovely video! The beach looks lovely. Most of my favourite beaches are the least accessible ones! Pednvounder, Rinsey, Lantic Bay all need a bit of a climb down to get to. My absolute favourite is Portheras Cove which is more a ramble than a scramble!
When I was younger I had a secret beach at Ponsongath farm my relatives owned it, and you could go across the farm land to a small cove sand, sea, and seals used to use it. Great place for a picnic
A bit different from last week's vid for sure!! Last week you were getting blown away literally, and this week you have us ''blown away'' with such a gorgeous little secret beach. Lovely stuff. And what vid would be without your little doggy digging...will he ever find what he's searching for I wonder? Beautiful artwork too Sarah. x J x
Such a lovely, calming video - love the rope - you made it look very easy and your little dog made short work of it - Just such a beautiful, serene beach and scene which made a beautiful subject or a picture Sarah. Well done.
Great to see you and Andrew on another one of your walks in Cornwall. Not really a fan of beach but I agree the beach is just beautiful and peaceful too. Now, I just have to go and renew my passport first before I head off to Cornwall.
I really liked this adventure today. The beach is so quiet and lovely. It must have been fun climbing down the rope. And of course, Doggie Boy got his digging time. Lovely day on a gorgeous beach. Thanks for taking us along with you. 👟🐕🌊⛅
Great video. We've moved down to the County now and thanks to yourselves have walks we want to experience..... If you are driving through Pipers Pool give us a beep and a wave.... Wouldn't walk it unless you have insurance!!
Hi Sarah and Andrew, loved your beautiful secret beach walk, so meditative and calming and with the addition of your very clever sketching. A bit disappointed though that you left out the footprints from the final picture as it very much reminded me of the poem "Footprints In The Sand" which I thought would have given it the perfect finishing touch. ❤️
Another interesting 🧐 walk with beautiful hidden beaches, but you must be kidding descending the short cliff face by rope, I can just see me dangling from it with my walking frame round my neck, I think I will ask my Nephew to drop me off in his helicopter 🚁 that would be fun, or, not! I’ve been in it before, I envy you having that glorious beach 🏝 to yourselves, I feel an Agatha Christie Novel coming on! It would have to feature the three of you, what about The Case of the Digging Dog 🐕 or, The Secret of Paradise Beach, 🤫 it has to be a secret 🤐 though! I’m sure Andrew could come up with something more original, If Agatha can do it we can! what say you? Beautiful Artwork and sea glass tower Sarah, thanks 🙏 for sharing 🤗
@@CornishWalkingTrails Hi, Sarah that beautiful beach 🏝 cove would make a great setting for a Murder Mystery! Who Dun-it! no telling what little brown friend might come up with, with his excavating skills! ☠️ my name for him is now ‘Digger’ 🤗
Greetings from Austria
On smooth wet sand I always photograph my footprints alongside my dog's pawprints.🐾
A lovely image! Sarah :)

I agree! The first on the beach after the tide goes out! Sarah :)
You do some lovely sketches, I have to say, Sarah, and all en plein air. 😀
Thank you! Sarah :)

Oh wow! i hope it all goes to plan for you! Sarah :)
Looked down on to those beaches, when on the circular walk from the car park round to the little church, then back up hill to the car. Quite a few years ago now, don't think we could now!
We also spotted them on the same walk a few years ago and it wetted our appetite to return one day, Sarah :)

The dreaded plastic! We collected a couple of small pieces and took them home too. Maybe the stormy weather has churned things up a bit! Sarah :)
Lovely Sarah and Andrew 💝🌅... I think I might be going there very soon 🙏... can't wait...hope it's on a sunny day like yours 😎🌞😁😘
I am hoping there will soon be more sunny days than rainy days! Sarah :)
Beautiful beach looks so calming. Your doggie is like a Happy child playing in the sand! Looking forward to our hols in Cornwall this year.
Our child substitute now that we are empty nesters!! Sarah :)
Deffo worth a look one day👍
Good stuff 👍
Lovely beach to spend a few hours on. Great views. Thanks again for the video. Take care.
You're welcome! Sarah :)
Absolutely glorious video, this beach is one for the bucket list

Indeed! Is anything really a secret? Maybe only to those that discover it for the first time! Sarah :)
Brilliant, lovely watching

Anyway lovely video.
Thanks for the tip. We like to travel light!! Sarah :)
What a beautiful and lovely restful video. Thank you so much 😊
You are so welcome! Sarah :)
Hi there. It is a lovely beach we went there on our St Anthony Head Vlog. Looks like they have put in a nice new rope!👍😀

What a beautiful beach and landscape! The shells look really big washed ashore. Another amazing walk!
Nice I live in sunny St Breward in sunny Cornwall 🌞
Love the pub at St Breward! Sarah :)

A really fabulous day out and we enjoyed the rope climb! Sarah :)
Now if you had filmed here earlier in the week we could have had kite flying with Sarah and Andrew !!
LOL! Sarah :)
Great video. We've moved down to the County now and thanks to yourselves have walks we want to experience..... If you are driving through Pipers Pool give us a beep and a wave.... Wouldn't walk it unless you have insurance!!

That was a beautiful spot. And I really admire your artistic skills, Sarah! Thank you for a lovely video 🥰

I like the way you let Sarah go first Andrew!! 🤭
LOL! Sarah :)
Try Kayaking to get to these restrictive access beaches. I do. It's a lot easier and you get to see some of the most glorious things out at sea.
I thought Andrew was going to pull the rope up once Sarah was down !
He would have been in trouble then!! Sarah :)
Those beaches are popular with the boating people
Did you know that Fraggle rock was filmed at st anthonys lighthouse.
Oh yes! the introduction!! Sarah :)
Etch-a-Sketch Cove! Tide resets beach-canvas for subsequent strollers.

Sorry spelling Kynance Cove!
I am sure I heard a faint voice offshore saying 'welcome to fishlocker out on the boat' ...
Looks like the rope isn't really required
Agreed, more for reassurance! Sarah :)
Not that secret now.
It's hardly a secret beach, get real.
