Really enjoying this series of your adventures - thanks for putting together and sharing 😊 #Pilgrimpaul is correct they are Belted Galloways - I have always found them to be pretty docile and mainly into eating grass. A friend of mine says they can be aggressive, I have yet to see that side. I have given up on those hopeful predictions: this is the last hill, just round the corner etc because this rarely seems to turn out to be the case and somehow it's always much harder work after that! Benches always seem to hide until 5 mins after I've sat somewhere uncomfortable for my break.

Things have moved on since I walked that stretch. The development at Lee Bay was a derelict hotel when I was there. The cattle were Belted Galloway.
Not heard of that breed before. They looked nice and cosy though.
