The gameplay is slow and clunky, but the way the environments react to the music is impressive and cool as hell. Would love to see a Hip-Hop focused game use that as a mechanic.
I get it, they were testing the limits of the PS3 when the original console released. People say it looks crappy but imagine living to witness the debut at that time. It was fun to play it for the first time.
Yeah and Back in the Day i can remember it like when it was Yesterday i am as a Kid sayed "WOW that looks Damn Real and the VIBE is awesome and has even Rapper i am listen to" so yeah this Game is still for me Nostalgia and Awesome besides the Stupid FPS lock which is Buggy af! much stuttering etc at least on PS3 on Xbox it was running good , in a couple of Days i will show Raw Footage how this Game performed on 30fps Lock , it is BAD VERY BAD 😂

I meant when Icon came out. I thought the series was coming to an end. i meant what about other games that let the series end like Fight for NY in 2004? I meant what about Backyard wrestling 2? I used to compare those 2 to similarities to each other. Having an all out brawl, fighting in different locations and using everything as a melee weapon. Because Backyard wrestling 2 ended there in 2004, the same thing should've happened with Def Jam. Oh and i really don't care what people say about me bringing Backyard wrestling 2 into this. I'm just saying this just in case.
Alright, i haven't played any of the def jam games. But from what i see so far, I don't like the low lying camera angle, the top down camera angle looked much better imo. I will be honest though, i love the idea of def jam icon. It has a dope aesthetic to it. The games do look interesting and i'd love to try them out.

I can’t explain why the gameplay suck .. it was a bit inconsistent in every manner .. I tried and tried and tried to like it. But the characters was just to difficult to move around And the game played like rock paper scissors. No reason why you was being countered besides the computer just felt like it. Everything was out of sync and out of wack. And those weird effects . Was not even necessary’. It was stylistic for nothing .
@@PlaySkillTV I paid for it so I might as well have played it plus it was the sequel to one of my favourite fighting games of all time. The lineup of fighters wasn't bad too. But besides the graphics, FFNY is definitely superior imo.
