He’s a true boss character with hidden abilities, hence why he’s normally banned. Can KO with any heavy strike. Can also perform submission grapples. All this while only being listed as MA fighting style on the menus.
Gonna answer some of the commentary stuff. Look below the readmore if you want some nitty gritty about how the game works. -Snoop/Crow is the final boss of the game and his playable version is just The Same Character so he's some proper SF2 Akuma shit. That cartwheel is Crow's dashing punch vs downed opponent. -"Suspect" is a secret character who uses the placeholder model that stands in for the (mostly-unseen) create-a-character in story mode (as the first scene the character appears in is before they are created, so camera tricks are used to hide the model). His stats are actually all maxed out but his moveset is limited. - Blazing does work as a cancel for most animations, the reason 'he still got hit' is cause his reversal timing was thrown off and went early. -General Info- - The game uses five fighting styles - Streetfighting, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Martial Arts, and Submissions - and a given character can have up to three styles; the combination and the order in which those styles were added to the character influences their moveset. Each style, except Wrestling, also has a specific gimmick: Streetfighting allows a powerful haymaker (and a kick version), Kickboxing is what allows that grapple with multiple knees, Martial Arts changes reversals so that they do damage (otherwise reversals against less-flashy moves will not), and Submissions allows submissions. (Wrestling and Submissions also allow you to switch a grappled opponent to back-turned, opening up some new moves.) - The game uses a pretty interesting health system where you have active health and maximum health; active health is reduced very quickly, but will also fairly quickly regenerate back up to maximum health, which is reduced by attacks much more slowly. To KO the opponent, specific actions must be taken against them while they're in red active health ("Danger" state), or they must be ringed out (on stages where that is legal: Dragon House, Crow's room, getting hit by a train functionally qualifies on Subway). Each style has a specific move that will cause a KO (the aforementioned haymaker/strong kick on Streetfighter, which includes strong grapple -> punch; completing a full 7-hit grapple knee combo on Kickboxer, doing an off-the-wall kick as Martial Artist, landing any strong grappling move as Wrestler, or completely reducing the opponent's Head/Arm/Leg health as Submission), and everyone has access to generic options: weapon attacks (which cannot be blocked, but reversing them causes you to steal the weapon), wall grapples, leaping moves from the turnbuckle, and Blazing moves. - Generally speaking, the game handles the stunned state in a pretty unique and gameable way, essentially alternating between a 'heavy' and 'light' stun. Heavy stun leaves enough time for opp to stand you up and strong grapple you, whereas light stun lets you move almost immediately after being knocked down; normally after getting hit while in heavy stun, if you were then stunned right after (e.g. strong grapple -> heavy stun -> stood up and grappled -> strong grapple), you'll be in light stun (so you don't get looped to death). However, that one 'neck snap' move and Blazing moves always inflict heavy stun as long as you didn't do them twice in a row, which is how you saw some insane combo extensions where someone just lost half of their health. -- When you're on the ground and un-stunned, you can try and do a getup attack (these have strange properties but are very punishable and easy to see coming), or you can block; blocking an attack will cause you to stand up for free. You can also roll away. This creates something of an RPS oki situation - while seme is always advantaged, attempting to grapple (stand up) a downed opponent will fail if they attack or roll, but attempting a down attack may cause them to block and stand up, while rolling away can be easily tech-chased. If you actually land a stand-up grapple, even if the opponent is only lightly stunned, you are greatly advantaged, creating a new RPS game: if opp presses buttons they'll beat a grapple attempt, but if you attacked, they'll get hit clean and opened to damage. - MANY moves in this game have functional invincibility, especially particularly acrobatic moves. These don't appear to just be jank, actually, as many of them have lag time at the end and cause a far knockback which is hard to capitalize on, suggesting there was actually an intent to have them function as something like an armor move. The game also has a 'dead angle' type move (in the Guilty Gear sense) which is used when the opponent has quickly advanced and is very close to you, which will push them back a significant distance (however, it overrides neutral button inputs so you need to be careful with it). - Taunting and doing just about anything except taking damage will build meter; taking damage and running reduces it (the former much faster than the latter). This means fights can snowball very easily if someone takes an early advantage, as you can see during this top 8. Once you pop Blazing (which resets the character to neutral from almost anything), you have a limited amount of time to actually use your Blazing Move; if you run out, your meter will reset to about 1/4 full. Blazing Moves are done by any grapple -> flick the right stick, which makes them quite dangerous when you're in a Danger situation as even a weak grapple can allow a Blazing Move to be activated and kill you. - Create-a-characters can be saved to memory cards and loaded into other games, so you could have entire CaC tournaments if you wanted. (Not really relevant I just think it's neat)
For the windows in crows office you can finish them early but its difficult you have to do 3 throws on the same glass pane for the window to break and for your opponent to fall out.
To those new to this game and its typical rules, Snoop Dogg is banned normally for SEVERAL reasons, on top of his insane stats and moveset, one of the main reasons is that his one and only fighting style in his arsenal is "Martial Arts" (1 of the 5 styles in the game) which has the most reliable defensive mechanics with the downside of having one of the most unreliable KO mechanics in the game. Normally, the only unique KO mechanic available to Martial Arts has is to run onto a wall and do an attack after jumping off of it, which is incredibly predictable and telegraphed. HOWEVER! Snoop being the final boss of the game, he gets to break the rules and have only 1 fighting style, but the KO mechanics of Streetfighting, Martial Arts, AND Submissions. In other words... he's got the final boss privilege.
