Today's van life vlog takes place in Baja California Sur where we wake in our self converted Sprinter Van in Los Barriles and take you along for a day in the life! Having been here for the last 6 days, we've established a little bit of a van life routine: where we fill up our water, where we go grocery shopping and how we find free beachfront camping!! It's also our 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY so we have fun sharing a bit of our love story with all of you :)
We have loved living in a van (self converted sprinter van) for the last year and a half and while we enjoy spending time in Canada it can get a little cold throughout the winter. So, we've decided to hit the road and drive across the continent to enjoy some warmer weather in Baja Mexico. If our last trip to this country taught us anything... it's to expect the unexpected!!

In French we call this recipe " pain perdu " which means lost bread, in my family we still do it with old bread like in the 12th century apparently 😅😂

I think dogs there just run around free on the beach and in the woods, they probably go home at night. I was actually thinking the same but I think those 2 lovely people would have picked up a stray dog. They wouldn't leave the animal like that

I think every dog would have the time of his life traveling along with you guys. But I get it, it's alot to handle, you're business, living in a small space, traveling all over the world, you would need a vet in every city, vaccins.. All that stuff, but I wish you guys the best! ❤️❤️

Great video! Just wanted to suggest you can get biodegradable, non toxic grey water treatments (available widely, on Amazon etc) that will prevent growth of smelly things and sludge and I would highly recommend that over advocating people throw out or recycle their giant plastic container every couple months!
After you are done a batch of dishes you can add the treatment to the sink of water and let it drain through your hose to stop that from getting gunked up as well. It's not 100% effective but definitely helps

I have been so Blessed that y'all met as I have a blast watching your videos. I will be 70 in May and the body might not be keeping up as well but not brain dead yet as love the adventure. Just wanted to thank you guys for sharing your inspiring can adventures over the last couple of years. Getting to a goal, like doing a van conversion, or making significant lifestyle changes don’t happen overnight. While I endure the proper preparation in the normal day job, it really is a joy to watch your videos, which remind me of the vision I’m aiming for. Congrats on what you’re doing, your anniversary of course, and for your determination to keep doing what you do. In the most Aussie slang way, you guys are frickin legends.

Happy Anniversary. Loved Obi Juan. He looks like he could be related to the pups from the adventure squad on UA-cam channel Jordan Kahana check them out. Hopefully Pedro will get your rack done. While living in Louisana we had two older guys come to paint our kitchen cabinets in an apartment building we were living in. One had a Cajun accent the other Creole and they could barely understand each other. Since we had just moved there I had a hard time understanding them. They told me they were going to lunch two days later they showed up like it was the afternoon they had just left. Amazing the vegan options you guys found.
Hahah yes it's all about managing our own expectations of what it means when he says "it will be done by 9AM" and change it to "I will start at 9AM" hahah!!
