Today's van life vlog begins in San Jose Del Cabo in Baja Mexico where we’ve been staying since dropping my brother off at the airport a few days ago! We start by sharing our favourite place to hang out and work in the van while enjoying some of Mexico’s most famous beaches. Then, it’s off to Santiago to chase waterfalls and hot springs and finally get some of that salt water off us! We also share a little bit about our life as digital nomads who live in a van and travel around Mexico. Between our chai company Chaiwala Chai and creating content for our UA-cam channel “Eamon & Bec” we keep ourselves rather busy ;)

We have loved living in a van (self converted sprinter van) for the last year and a half and while we enjoy spending time in Canada it can get a little cold throughout the winter. So, we've decided to hit the road and drive across the continent to enjoy some warmer weather in Baja Mexico. If our last trip to this country taught us anything... it's to expect the unexpected!!

Living with less is right for so many reasons …. more adventure, less stuff is the way to go. I am so glad your generation, for the most part, gets this. I’m putting my house up for sale in the fall. I’ll have to work 1-2 more years then I’m heading out. I work in Baltimore but live in Frederick County.

Beck I want to tell u a story. My husband and I went up to see Niagara Falls. We went to the nearest coffee house that served Chaiwala tea. We used your map to the closest one. I am so sorry to say that I really believe that I was server hot almond milk with a dash of nutmeg on top. Their menu had your logo and name. I didn’t say any thing. But I thought you should know. I am only disappointed that we didn’t get the original Chaiwala from Emond and Beck. PS this was our virgin voyage in our new van. Can wait to try the real Chaiwala from Emond and Beck! Their in Nicaragua now made it all the way through Baja then the boat ride across gulf of California from Cabo to Mazarlan over the last couple years, just found them about 2 months ago! They have made quite a trip with their dog!

If you ever have an issue with ants near your camp, all you have to do is give them something to keep them busy and away from wherever you don't want them. You can keep them busy all day with like a half of donut or something like that that's a little sweet. Just put it a few feet from your van on the side your not using.
I love how your cinematography skills are evolving and that you're pursuing something that ignites your creativity. However, I REALLY prefer when it's just you holding a camera, as opposed to all the fancy drone/scenic shots. The no-frills, super casual and down to Earth vlogging style just feels more "you" to me; because it's wholesome and attainable. But I love you guys so do whatever makes your soul smile, and I appreciate that you still sprinkle in some raw footage into your videos

The main reason you find that it's "do-able" is because you work so hard, your are both very personable, you are thankful for what you have and express that thanks in a variety of ways, and you seem to have good chemistry for each other. If other people have those same qualities then it may be do-able for them too. But probably not.
