I’ve seen results very quickly with this protocol: In the first 4 weeks my hair has grown visibly more dense and I have new hairs all along my hairline. Fenugreek water in a spray bottle. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water and add the water to a spray bottle. 2X per day. The fenugreek is something I see a lot of UA-camrs leave out but it even makes my beard and eyebrows thicker within the first week of use. Oils applied to scalp every other day: Rosemary oil Peppermint oil Pumpkin seed oil Vitamin E oil Bhringraj oil Micro needle stamp 1.5mm. 1.5 seems to make a big difference over 1.0 or less. I do it every other day on the days I don’t use oils. Daily Vitamins: E B1 B2 B3 B5 B12 D3 Ashwaganda L-lysine Multi vitamin Multi mineral
And a pro tip for split testing what works. If you are curious if something works or not apply it to one side of your head only for 2-4 weeks. So both sides of the head receive identical treatments except for 1 variable which is applied to the test side of the scalp. And there is a head massager with a lot of smaller silicon points. It massages but it also exfoliates a lot better. That’s my entire protocol for now if you find any of it useful.
@raakgu great info, thanks! I bought a derma pen and I plan to split test with 1mm roller on one half and the pen on the other if I get to October without improvement.
Suggestions for consistent lighting in your progress photos: (1) LIGHTING: take photo in a dark room with no natural light, only artificial light which you can control and will be consistent always & doesn’t move (Ex: interior bathroom with a ceiling lightbulb bulb); (2) POSITIONING: a small room (like a bathroom) is best so you can be sure you always stand in the same place, like against the wall with head leaning against the exact same point(Ex: mark on the wall where your chin should be and use a pencil + a level to make sure its always at the same angle); and (3) CAMERA: use same one, or a phone… & with the same setting (Ex: flash or no flash). Hope this helps. LOVE you videos ❤❤❤they are very honest & helpful :)
I use a 'plastic scalp brush' (the one with many hard plastic bristles) to massage my scalp. I can see very fine blond hair sprouting in my temples. I start on the sides of my head (above and beside my ears), circulating, and then I brush it upwards to the temples and to the crown, "pushing" the blood flow from the sides to those areas with less hair. Also: I don't "brush" my scalp superficially, I use the bristles to dig in on the skin, and "push" blood around.
Thats what I was thinking about doing. Didn't see this anywhere but, makes sense, something pushes on the skin and redness appears usually as blood comes up I guess. And I feel like it probably risks less damage than brushing the skin or doing any sort of friction.
Improving circulation is where it’s at unless you’ve got some genetic component. I accidentally noticed hairline improvement after letting my hair grow out to the point I need to brush it- and just brushing with a brush it was enough disturbance/circ promotion to start new whisps at the border
I am starting to see thin baby hairs after about 4 weeks using topical 5% minoxidil once a day, 0.5 derma rolling once a week. A mix pumpkin seed and rosemary oil about once every 3-4 days. Use a saw palmetto and argan oil shampoo I also began taking vitamin D and biotin. With the scalp massage I’ll then do about 3 mins when I apply anything Compared to when I first started my hair also feels much healthier. Keep up the good work man and don’t give up. I’ve heard drinking Green tea can also help so thinking of adding this in too
I have ordered pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil essential...for trying same what are the quantity u use....and when do u apply like b4 bedtime....i m thinking applying every alternate day...btw I also use minox5% + 0.1% fin topical....
Firstly, thank you for sharing your journey ! Hope you'll grow your hair back ! As for my protocol, i follow Robert English scalp massage (which you've enlisted in the video) once a day (sadly don't have time to apply it twice). If you follow that protocol you should see some improvement in hair density (not a lot, but i've saw some improvement) and overall hair thickness (measured the thickness on a microscope and it went from ~40 ish microns to ~60 ish microns+ in around 4 months from starting scalp massage). Also important to know, after a few days after i complete my hair massage i observe some scalp exfoliation (thus removing any debris laying in the skin, and promoting my scalp healing process which i think helps with hair regrowth from what i've read). Also after i finish massaging (because my scalp is red and blood is circulating in the region that i massaged, thus having a better adsorption of topical oil) i apply 10% Rosemary oil+8% Peppermint oil+6.5% Tea tree oil+7% Lavender oil+7% Limonene (it's a mouthfull i know) using castor oil as carrier (meaning that i've added all the essential oil into castor oil). Later on i'm gonna implement dermarolling using dermapen (it's more precise on the depth). Have a great one ! Hope this info is useful for some of you out there :)
I’m looking forward to your next update. I admire your perseverance and hope you find a protocol that works for you. I’m trying daily massage & weekly diluted rosemary oil. I plan to add rosemary water and will consider saw palmetto. Am also trying to avoid medication if possible. Wishing you well in your journey.
thanks! I'm back on rosemary oil now with a castor oil base having found the concentration of topical Finasteride to be insufficient in stopping hair loss. Hope you find some success too!
I was doing a lot of my inversion table for my lower back. I noticed about 7 hairs grew in on my original hair line. Grew in a spot i had not had hair for 20 yrs. But, that is all that grew back. Shows me u can grow hair on a bald spot
Tom Hagerty's scalp exercise has worked for me. I do it everyday for 15-20 minutes and I can do without even concentrating. I've also adopted a high nitrate diet (from vegetables) with the aim to boost nitric oxide levels and have seen huge improvements in my skin and scalp health. I don't get cold hands and feet anymore either. I do recommend both and if you're keen to boost nitric oxide levels, ensure you care for your mouth biome by not using mouth wash! This is very important as it's the bacteria in our mouth that do all the work.
Finasteride, Dutasteride and Minoxidil isn’t even enough to stop hair loss for a lot of guys. I really want to believe he will find a healthier alternative though.
I don't know how true this is but I heard it's better to do scalp massages before bed since cells regenerate while sleeping. I used to do them after a workout because I thought increased blood flow would help my oils absorb.
I dermaroll with 0.5, 3-4 times a week. Coffee and rosemary oil in olive oil and coconut oil carrier (I will remove coconut oil next batch, no need for it). And 4 months later... definitely a bunch of vellus hairs but I can't tell in top down photos if any vellus hair have become terminal/permanent hair. My pictures dont really show any change, due to same lighting/angle challenges as yourself. but the vellus hairs are definitely there. However,, there is no vellus hair growing on the oldest bald areas, only the more recent balding areas. I read it takes 6weeks to 6 months for the vellus to terminal hair transition. So we'll see. I will add daily massage to my routine. thanks for your commitment and tips. I appreciate all the effort.
Interesting! Have you ever tried raising the percentage of peppermint oil? Maybe a higher concentracion Will stimulate dermal papilla cell in hair roots
Yeh I initially started with 9-12 drops per application, at some point it causes skin irritation. I've just switched from Topical Fin back to Rosemary Oil & Castor Oil, and I'm doing 5 drops per application which is in line with what research has said led to results equivalent to 2% Minoxidil. Personally I didn't feel anywhere near skin irritation with the dosage I was using and I didn't know if I should be feeling a tingling sensation every time.
Hey, I would suggest trying 15 grams of flaxseeds morning/evening I have longer hair and it's the only things that maintain my hair from falling. Maybe adding it to your routine might be something interesting for you, idk.
Just got back from getting a hair transplant in Turkey. Im going to be dermarolling with peppermint and rosemary to maintain the thickness of my original hair. I did have a Nate tell me about topical Finasteride. All benefits with little to no complications from oral route seems to be an attractive idea.
I have a suggestion, focus on your back, shoulders and neck, even your pelvis, i have some seriously strong anecdotal experience regarding hairloss and the hypothesis of scalp tension. My hairline started receding in my early 30s, and it overlaps perfectly with the period when i had chronic tension headaches for over two years, it was caused by muscle knots in my neck, tense shoulders and a stiff back, my temporal muscle was also very tense, i would massage it with the palms of my hands and i could literally feel the relief in my scalp instantly. I followed a strict program involving massages and stretching which resolved my tension headaches and the tense discomfortable feeling i had in my scalp, exactly where the galea is, several months later after having finally beat my tension headaches my temples started filling in again, tiny little hairs started spouting which developed into regular scalp hair which is here to this day more than 3 years later, i pay close attention to how i sit, avoid hunching over, keeping my chin up, diet and the environment plays a role yes, ultimately you need to keep your scalp mobile and subtle, any kind of tension leads to chronic inflamation which leads to thinning. I'm 100 percent convinced this is the mechanism behind MPB, i also want to mention that i think the shape of one's cranium also plays a role, which is not much you can do about.
Interesting, the inflammation / blood flow component does seem to be critical. My general levels of inflammation in my body are low but I would consider myself to be someone who neglects shoulders and upper back stretching, and of course I have the 40 hour desk-bound job. I just found a temporal muscle massage tutorial and mine are definitely tight! I will read more up on this and try to add it in to my latest routine, thanks for your comment 🙂
Actually the restricted blood flow to follicles has proven to be a consequence of hair loss, not a cause. That's why rosemary oil for example just really isn't that effective.
Hi, Could be a chicken and egg dilemma. Also could be migrenous like blood vessels Constrict during stress and then create a long lasting effect on the hair follicle starting a vicious cycle... Anyhow thanks for the info. Do you have link to the study which shows that hairless causes vasoconstriction/low blood flow?
@@elinasi1727 Search for "Blood Flow & Hair Growth: What everyone gets wrong" by a channel called "Perfect Hair Health" on UA-cam. The guy goes into the study.
@@Silverpump It highly depends on how aggressive your hair loss is. Super super mild hair loss can be halted with natural DHT blockers such as saw palmetto and pumpkin seed extract. But those natural ingredients are way too weak to stop the average hair loss process (but still a LOT better than nothing). It's best if you speak to your doctor about how aggressive your hair loss is and what's the best next step. Minoxidil by the way does not stop hair loss, it promotes new hair growth. Natural minoxidil alternatives include scalp massages, topical melatonin (this is extremely hard to in a topical form designed for the scalp), microneeding (can be done by yourself to save a ton of money). Microneedling is about as effective as Minoxidil, the rest is quite a bit weaker. Also microneedling combined with minoxidil is much stronger than those two treatments independtly and have a bonus effect of drastically increasing the hair you keep after you stop minoxidil (which is normally about 10% without microneedling and 50% with it). I understand fearing the side effects of medication, especially with finasteride, but topical minoxidil's side effects are so mild, even though it's not natural, it's still incredibly safe. But again, it will not stop the hair loss, it will only grow new hair.
I admire your dedication my friend trying lots of different protocols. I was a bit like you when I was your age. Nothing worked although I lost no more hair till 50. See my post below. I am now 63 and had 2 hair transplants . Best money I ever spent. If you count up the total money spent on lotions and potions you could probably afford a hair transplant . I went to Turkey. I am currently 4.5 months in to my second transplant and the results are good. I also have a Demi wave on my hair every 4 months to increase the illusion of density. You can also get a scalp tattoo which would blend in to your existing hair . Would look good on you as you keep your hair short . I think eventually you will go down my route. By the way the transplant knocked 10 years off me. All my friends and family were amazed. You won’t regret it
I have hereditary alopecia and have had a very noticeable balding at the temples...similar to you and very very sparce hair on my head as every time I take a shower, I end up with a handful of hair and nothing regrowing to take its place. I had just accepted that this was my fate and that I should live with the unsightly thinning of hair on my head. Coincidentally, I just happened to start taking collagen powder (Vital Proteins) daily to address bone density issues and much to my delight, after about 3 months of daily collagen intake, my dead hair follicles started sprouting. It's now been about 2 years of daily collagen intake (20g) and all my bald spots are completely filled in and I have A LOT of new hair growth on my head, everywhere. I feel like this is a miracle cure.
Pump. seed oil; Rosemary oil; Safflower extract/oil; Fenugreek...and anything for LIVER (that could be the secret :) my hair thickened and felt healthier the moment I focussed on the liver...cheers
Thank you for sharing! I sincerely wish you find your remedy that will make you able to achieve your goals. I wish I had your will-power and determination ha ha.
Keep us updated! :) Seems like you did not find "the cure" yet, but tbh your hairstyle is very short already and really suits you, so you shouldn't have a problem rocking a shorter buzzcut and look aweseome with it once it goes further south! Edit: Have you though of topical finasteride? Rob English did a video about it - apparently even 0.1mg topical can have significantly positive effects - with near zero systemic DHT reduction.
Instead of switching out saw palmetto for nettle, why not use both? Ive found that using more than one oral dht blocker increases the potential of hair growth. I use both nettle and saw palmetto, twice daily. One capsule of each. That in addition to dermarolling 3 times a week, regular exfoliation and addition of a topical dht blocker oil is yielding slow, but sure results.
My son used saw-palmetto and massaged head and he started to grow a new hairline around 3 months. his brand was A volgel prostasan of amazon. He sometimes takes nettle stuff, and I've just bought him pumpkin oil because it has DHT blocker, he hasn't used that yet, I've been using massage on mine and it has help me some.
no it's just base oil & the oil for treatment in whatever concentration you want, so 3% peppermint oil would be 3 drops of peppermint oil and 97 drops of grapeseed oil. I've also heard people talk in terms of number of drops per application, so 3-5 drops of peppermint mixed with some grapeseed oil for a single application.
Bro you look great with the hair you still have. Keep doing what you feel like for sure but I’m jealous seeing as I’m going bald and my shaved head is gonna look insane! I have a tiny baby head imma look NUTS! Time to jump on some TRT or something. If I can’t have hair I better be jacked city
I really root for you. I would recommend iron + zinc + copper + lycopene +silica+ saw palmetto+ pumpkin seed oil (I eat it not as a capsules I just pour it all over my foods, its delicious) + collagen + reishi mushroom + methysulfonylmethan + rosemary topical oil + topical microdosing finasteride. This combo works.
Lots of scientific experiments! Keep going with the Nizoral shampoo: this is what I am doing. My recent hair transplant allows me to notice when hairs are pushing through and when they're going dormant. When the hair clinic did a PRP, I noticed a slight stimulation after a few days. Food certainly stimulates it, which can be an hour or so afterwards. Using a handheld near infra red lamp feels more powerful than the skin clinic's HALO hair stimulator, which is the equivalent of the iRestore. I notice it pushing through at different times of the day. The Plasma Pen with the fractional tip has given more stimulation than a PRP. I dab everywhere in 3 passes with a gentle setting. It's a hot stinging sensation; the burning stimulates it. It uses electricity: not to be confused with electrolysis which kills hair follicles. When using more intensive sessions on my eyebrows, I noticed by accident there's an increase hair growth. I've been attempting to correct scars from the skin clinic's IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and also killed hair follicles. I can now be more relaxed when to have an eyebrow transplant as it's less noticeable and looks after the hairline while recovering from a hair transplant, so I don't have to rush the procedure. The sensation is like a gentle stroking of feathers on the crown. When more intense, it can feel like needles piercing through the skin, being more noticeable at the back. I get the odd small hard lump there, from new ingrowing hairs which soon flattens. You have a very active mind, so this is why Finasteride caused insomnia, which would be detrimental to hair growth; I'll steer clear due to my powerful brain activity.
Hello, I looked at your blog and see you started topical fin. Any update on this? Did it give you side effects? Did it stop hair loss? Unfortunately I can't handle oral fin so I'm looking to start topical fin. If you could also make a video on how you make your home made fin solution I'd appreciate it very much, thank you! Tc
Hey, filming and editing now, video will be out in 2 weeks time. I applied it for ~150 days and saw more thinning at the crown, but rather than assume it isn't working I think it may be the dosage. My solution was equivalent to 0.1mg/day and likely not potent enough, so if I were to do it again I'd at least double it. If you're US based there's a solution you can buy here www.minoxidilmax.com/pg-free-solvent else the video will include how I did my homemade version. I have this ongoing insomnia which has lessened after stopping application, but I can't tell if it's related. No other side effects.
if anything worked really well I wouldn't still be losing my hair 😂 It seems like Finasteride and Minoxidil are the winning combo, if you're lucky enough not to experience side effects
Hair loss isn't just caused by DHT and genetics. A lot of times, worms and parasites inside your body could be a cause. What helped me improve my hair growth was "parawrm" herb tea, which helps kill parasites and clean out the digestive system. Also, goldenseal herb helps kill those parasites that cause hair loss. Good luck👌
Great material, I wanted to ask if your diet includes cow's milk? Have you heard of a natural old method called "Balayam"? From the information that can be found, it involves stimulating the base of the nails, which is supposed to increase blood pressure and thus improve the nutrition of the hair follicles.
Yeh I have cow's milk roughly every other day with my oats. I've never heard of Balayam, it looks like a simple and free addition to a future protocol, thanks!
Because taking consistent pictures is key to your journey, have you considered investing in a white background and light diffuser, akin (but cheaper) to what a professional photograph would do?
I've never heard of a light diffuser but something like that might help. I could switch to 100% artificial light, it would mean the historical pictures wouldn't be directly comparable but would at least ensure consistency going forwards
@@9to5strength Yes indeed :) A booth with white sheets bright indirect light and no natural light could do the trick. But if you intend to keep experimenting for a few months/years, the sooner the better (or else you'll have more and more non-consistent pictures)
Scube 3 will work, that’s the holy grail for stopping hair loss once it comes out. I guess the best option really is topical finasteride if your worried about side effects. it’s a war against your own genetics which makes it all so difficult.
Nothing but respect for this young guy, he's tried everything and has been objective whilst presenting himself very well. But I have to say the results simply haven't happened yet have they? I'm now in my early 60's belatedly starting to lose hair but it bothers me even at my age. I take Saw Palmetto and try to ingest as many nutrients naturally as possible and it seems to be stabilising. Keep at it though mate, admire your enthusiasm
My friend, I think you are not doing the massage as desired. I have been doing massage for 15 months, my age is 55 and I had no hair except for very little hair in the front part of my hair. With the massage, my hair loss stopped completely and most importantly, my new hair started to grow and still continues to grow. My hair strands became thicker and the fractures were completely gone. I massage my scalp very hard for 20 minutes in the morning and at night. I try so hard that it hurts. You need to be able to bend the top of your hair just like you do on the sides. When I first started the massage, I had a lot of inflammation on my scalp due to massage. You should have this too, you need to remove the intravascular inflammation. After the massage is over, I apply good quality olive oil to my scalp and massage it well into the skin. I still continue the massage and the hair continues to grow. I think I have regained 30% of my hair. I hope your work will be successful.
Dude you look like a great candidate for a hair transplant (better than the hair I started with and I got good results). Congrats for doing all the stuff you are doing right now, but it may be something to think about for the future. But you look fine as is, but you are obviously concerned or you wouldn't make these videos. Thanks for your time.
1. I think you should differentiate between hair loss STOP and hair REGROWTH. There is big difference between the two. If something stopped the progressive hair loss, that's already a huge result. 2. One needs at least 6 months to evaluate the efficacy of treatment method/tool/drug. 3. Regarding regrowth (and this is related to point #1): some of your front hair follicles might be already dead so even nuking your DHT levels with Dutasteride won't bring them back.
is a dead follicle not what the derma-rolling fixes? I don't follow the science but it's like a closed bulb or something and the needle stimulates stem cells and brings it back to life
@@9to5strength To put it simply, some of them are dead for a little bit and some are "dead dead". Again, even the strongest protocol can't bring back already "dead dead" follicles and that fact doesn't mean that your current or past regimes aren't effective. I hope I express myself clearly.
I'm rooting for you! I really hope you find something that works. Maybe adding something like Nanoxidil in your regimen ? It seems to me that you are halting hair loss to some extent and that is pretty good. But what you're lacking is powerful growth stimulants to see an improvement. I don't believe Microneedling works, the oils don't work either unless you have healthy hair. At best, they'll just give you a shine. The research around oils is questionable at best but it definitely is over exploited by snake oil companies. In your case, you're a NW6 already and quite possibly later in life you'll be a NW7. It's important to manage expectations at this point, stopping + hair thickness and minor regrowth is all you could probably get without going to the other extreme with chemicals. This would be the winning scenario in my opinion. Heck, even just stopping would be a success story. From here on only a hair transplant would do the trick. As others have mentioned, try to get consistent lighting. Have a white/yellow panel and take the pictures against it and, if using natural light, the same time of day. But ideally you want to control the lighting so maybe bathroom is better than relying on natural light since some days may be more shiny other rainy.
Thanks for the update! I used a time ago the derminator with needle lentgh of 1.5mm once per week. It seemed to improve my hair but some how I stopped. Actually Im on fin and minox trying to stabilize my hair status. Maybe I should start again. 🙂
Interesting, I'm currently on week 5 of topical Finasteride and seeing no side effects. Not sure if it's the molecule size or the fact that topical application doesn't require as much to go into your bloodstream as you're applying directly to the place it needs to be
What strength solution are you using? I'm considering using Hims but diluting it to 0.02% - still get results but reduces the amout the amount that goes systemic@@9to5strength
I have ordered pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil essential...for trying same what are the quantity u use....and when do u apply like b4 bedtime....i m thinking applying every alternate day...btw I also use minox5% + 0.1% fin topical....with derma roller 1mm weekly
not sure about pumpkin seed oil but rosemary oil can be 3-5 drops in a carrier oil like grapeseed oil. I was applying it at the end of the working day so 5-6pm and then washing it out before bed so it didn't get all over my pillow
If you're watching XXX and so on, take a break for about 4 weeks and you'll start to see baby hairs sprouting at the edges of your bends, don't ask me how I know that.
I was doing many of the same things you did, and nothing worked. Just a waste of time and money. So, I just started shaving my head, and be done with it..
Can't wait till the next update saw Palmetto cutting off the DHtT problem at the root so to speak is amazing I've noticed some differnce since taking supliments
Got into manifastation now (reality transurfing and neville goddard) and was considering doing derma roll as an aid for that (just adding if this stuff dont work you can try manifastation) , how long did you give the derma roller a chance (how many days/weeks?) ?
Derma roller has been about a year, then a short break, then another 6 months. I started with 0.5mm weekly and switched to 1mm every two weeks. The scientific explanation for what it's doing makes me believe it's worth keeping in my protocol
I started with topical dutasterid and Minoxidil and microneedling about 1 week ago and had no side effects so far. I used over the counter Minoxidil some years ago with quite some side effects. But this time I bought it online from a Canadian company. Btw your hairstyle looks still good.
How many hours a day do you spend sitting? Should be standing for hours every single day. If you have to sit at a desk for work, get a standing desk setup.
I'm pretty bad for sitting, inactive time on my wearables is up at 10 hours/day. I'm actually reading Built to Move by Kelly & Juliet Starrett and they mention keeping it under 6 hours, so I bought a standing desk last week (and I'm standing as I type this 😀). I'm doing it for overall health but interesting if it helps the hair
@@9to5strength What a coincidence you just got a standing desk, nice lol. Yeah prolonged sitting highly impairs your overall circulation. I've always used to work a job where we had to stand for practically the full day, hair was prime. Then switched to sitting all day, and within months of that noticed major shedding and thinning, unlike ever before. Also a lack of actual growth. I did not notice the problem at first so it took a while to even start figuring things out. Long-story-short, sitting all day started the problem, and the definite lack of nutrients for a period of time. And since most men usually work jobs where they sit in an office, I'd bet they'd never know sitting down all day for a period of months/years could have been the main cause of their hair retiring
I've had a few comments telling me that "semen retention" is effective, which is not ejaculating for 2+ weeks at a time. I covered it briefly here when I did a run through of the top 20 tips from all my comments ua-cam.com/video/M45DexVMvsw/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=382 There's a paragraph on it here which is about as much as I've read into it www.decafjournal.com/how-i-reversed-my-hair-loss-naturally/
I noticed a thickness of hair using Borax I’ve been scrubbing with it in the shower for my skin and keeping it in a spray bottle, sprayed it on my skin and let it dry. Borax helps to circulate testosterone
I can imagine nutrient deficiencies or having trouble absorbing nutrients can easily lead to problems with maintaining hair growth. There's also the general health aspect of needing good circulation in the body to ensure the nutrients actually reach where they need to get to (the scalp). I've had plenty of people leave comments saying that cleaning up their diet made a noticeable difference, but for those with male pattern baldness it won't be enough to stop it happening
Get into what your diet consists of. Find out if you're eating bad foods. You're extremely thin to exhibit fatty liver disease. So either you're eating too much rancid process inflammatory oils and foods. Or you drink or don't eat enough. The wnt/B catenin pathway is our primary hair Genesis and when dampen by oxidative stress you start losing hair(as hair loss is a oxidative disease) across all alopecia no matter the form of it had high mda levels (malondialdeyhde) a biomarker of lipid peroxidation. If you can lower that and squash it your hair will shed much less. I personally take nac milk thistle magnesium (400mg) zinc vitamin C (500mg twice a day) marine collagen peptides for glycine and beet root 1000mg and lemon/lime water with natural unprocessed honey. Milk thistle and lemon water protect my liver. Vitamin C lowers mda levels glycine and NAC increases glutathione (precursors) and magnesium and zinc increase testosterone synthesis. Zinc has a mild dht inhibitor especially with vitamin B6. I eat fish as my primary meat and avoid any processed meats and fried food(which is the worse!!!) I also enjoy blueberries and many different type of berries with citrus fruits like mandarin they lower MDA. I try to get my fat from omega 3 alone which the fish and avocado takes care of(some nuts are good like walnuts) So long mda decrease and your liver enzymes go down and you don't have a fatty liver your hair should start turning normal. Dht is a byproduct of what is happening to you as T converts into DHT during oxidative stress and the rise of cortisol levels. I also walk at least 1hr a day(30minutes after eating and I usually only eat twice) My hair stop shedding much. My beard grow in thicker. My hair is thicker and I am losing weight(I am obese in this case) while also increasing my normal hormone function and stacking muscle again. I hope this helps! Feel free to comment under mine for questions.
I forgot to mention my routine. Lmao Hask rosemary peppermint shampoo/conditioner (try replenology for their ingredients list) I use mielle peppermint rosemary oil in between my shampoo and conditioner. I also added hints of my own natural peppermint rosemary and hemp seed oil(cbd increases hair by blocking inflammatory receptors) I use a basic scalp massager or an electric massager because they both promote blood flow. I use to derma roll! And saw results but I didn't like how itchy my scalp gets afterwards.
@@Silverpump DHT is coming from cortisol that rises from oxidative stress. When you have hair loss your antioxidant defense is impaired which allows the lipids to spoil(hence peroxidation) mda is a biomarker from this process. When the liver gets too much fat this process takes on hence why nafld symptom has hair loss. But other diseases can cause it. Like heart disease and diabetes. A linear cause of this trend(fatty liver turning into heart disease) has been shown in pre world war and after. Autopsies of bodies that don't exhibit heart disease are starving countries that don't get enough fat in them. Seed oils are common in foods now and was created in the 1970's right when heart disease became prominent. The matsuri and Inuit(Eskimo) eat a highly unprocessed diet mostly consisting of animal protein due to their environment and they don't have heart disease or a fatty liver. The majority of them have hair long into their elder years. And the Inuits smoke tobacco. The earlier ancestors of hominids were Aquatic that perfectly match our inability to process vitamin C and to be able to eat seafood raw and have features like a marine mammal. Cysteine Astaxanthin and Quercetin lowers mda through similar antioxidant actions. Astaxanthin can only be found in seafood which lowers DHT increases testosterone and induce brain recovery. Cysteine(and intermittent fasting) normalizes the liver. GHK-cu a copper peptide increases liver regeneration and shows hair regrowth. Which is used as an ingredient in hair restoration surgery medical shampoo. When you have a cause for disease the disease raises oxidative stress. That stress induced the hormones cortisol. Cortisol blocks regeneration and converts testosterone to DHT. That DHT now overly reproduces, induces liver fibrosis and scarring. Which then lays grounds for fatty liver disease and causes hair loss. If the disease is not managed or reversed the oxidative stress will impair your antioxidant defense forcing not only male pattern hair loss but heart disease and prostate cancer. Eat a clean unprocessed diet primarily in protein and low carbs with medium good fats. And a exercise routine that increases vascularity. Provided with proven supplements that lower these issues. Liver damage isn't the cause. But a factor that once compromised sets in hair loss.
You can still see it a little bit, I have an article with all the pictures and people were commenting on the thumbnail of a recent push up video where you can see how faded it is 9to5strength.com/laser-tattoo-removal-before-and-after/
Hello update. Yeah the majority of what I previously said don't work out. I use to think the liver health is the primary reason why hair loss occurs. I have gone through rigorous testing and discovered I am insulin resistant with low Testosterone. Aga men are the equivalent to pcos women and both are metabolically syndromatic. My biggest theory is inflammation causes signal disruption of hair growth. I take NAC to lower inflammation but I only take it every other day and only before bed(inhibits angiogenesis which is needed for vascular function) I started taking quercetin as it shows improvement in hair and reverse miniaturization in both mice and cell cultures. Inositol seems to be anti AGA and so is alpha ketoglutarate. I currently switch to a citrulline beetroot formula instead of regular beetroot powder. I started supplementing glycine. Adenosine increase hair growth and glycine is one of its precursor. Men with low testosterone and low vitamin D have hair loss. I exhibit frontal balding instead of parietal balding. And my crown seems to be fine. High testosterone also means high estrogen and both of these hormones keep the skin barrier soft preventing it from weighing down on the scalp causing the physical theoretic of scalp miniaturization. My biggest advice to you is make sure you get adequate carbs and protein and make sure those carbs come from fruit. Men with higher potassium have more hair than men who have higher sodium ratio. I started taking glutamine as it increases hgh and testosterone in men. So we shall see where it takes me. The carbs metabolism insulin resistant and low testosterone and low vitamin D levels and certain amino acids seems to be the driver of hair loss atleast in men. For women its amino acids and certain nutritional value ontop of metabolic syndrome. The reason why low T and low vitamin D is a driver is because calcium build up in the scalp allowing a fungus to grow. Nizoral shampoo gets rid of this fungus. I would add head and shoulders zinc shampo as zinc and quercetin inhibit both Tgfb 1 and mTOR signaling allowing hair stem cells to cause regrowth. My hair loss hasn't receded since the first comment. But i am still battling diffusion.
Thanks for the detailed comment! I didn't know that about Quercetin, I've heard it has longevity benefits and it's something Dr David Sinclair takes. I have 160g/day of protein, 350g/day carbs including 1-2 pieces of fruit, and my testosterone is high. I've gone off Nizoral and currently use a Tea Tree Oil shampoo which I believe it anti-microbial and anti-fungal. Hope you continue to see maintenance/growth
@@9to5strength My current objective is to obtain a valid topical hair serum containing adenosine quercetin and copper peptide. Quercetin raised testosterone and induced sensescent autophagy. Miniaturize hair follicle are sensescent. I would look into your insulin levels as they have an effect on hair loss. I don't know your region so idk if you get adequate vitamins D either. Replenology is a interesting brand I have tried before. They claim hair miniaturization reverse in their clinical placebo trials.
Will try massaging my scalp before I wash hair with a solution of ricinus, and tea tree oil will massage for 20 minutes to an hour and let it sit(got sebderm, itching, dry scalp along with hairloss, and found it to give some relief..)and some days use red onion juice before sleep will eat garlics, ginger avoid sugar/processed/non organic/gluten,and dairy,or keep dairy on a bare minimum..greens,meats,will prefer fish oil instead of to much fish due to pollution..proteins from plant, and meat sources they have found pfas in organic eggs, and it can be in beef to so also limit those..well doind this things at least helps to get relief from itch so I can sleep:) maybe it can help others to??.......
this is going to sound crazy, but minoxodil + finasteride will give you your hair back in 3 months. did the same for me. However i got eye floaters in both eyes at the age of 23. Theyre permanent, and even though im off all medication, the hair i grew has remained, but the floaters are slowly getting worse. proceed at your own risk, but finasteride + minoxodil is the real deal, but if youre unlucky, you might get side effects
Some of the process you are using will start bringing results in around 4 months. Derma-pens are a most, not the roller. 0.5 to 0.6mm will not reach the hair follicle and will not damage it, giving still a good result and avoiding bloody skin. Also, 20% of people retain all their hair after 6 months after they stopped all their treatments. 10% lost their hair, and the rest lost a few or kept it mildly. If you stop using minoxidil all the hair dependent to the drug will fall off guarantee. If you are worry about using finasteride, check yourself with an endocrinologist: testosterone, DHT, estrogen, SHBG. Aim for high free testosterone and low estrogen, low body fat, 15% or less. Eat saturated fats. Be active. I’m sure you will stop losing hair with these, which is what you need. And you may also gain at least 10% of you hair back, 20% if you body is receptive to it. If you are looking for hair transplant options as well, you need to learn how to stop losing you hair first. Keep us posted. Godspeed.
@@RyeCA 0.5 and 0.6 have been shown equal results than 1.0 and 1.5. The difference is that 1.5 can cause minor damage to the root of the hair, as it can each it. Only pens can give that constant precision.
I know this sounds really stupid, but whats working for me aside of daily 4minutes silicon massage and coconut oil is triming one per month following specific days by the moon. I know sounds a lot like wika bs but is working a lot...
I was recommended a book about hair loss and it said the intensity from handstands is too much and it's enough to lie on a bed with your head off the end, or massage while standing with your head between your legs
Bro just join Rob English's coaching and him and his team will fix you up. Do it together with an expert if you're already investing so much time into it.
Mate, are you doing Rob English’s program yourself? I’ve been debating doing it now for about 3-4 years when he first started out back then but I’ve been sick for quite a while and haven’t been able to. Now I’m recovering, and getting my health back I’m starting to realise I need to do something. I started though and lost a huge amount of hair, and my hair from bad to worse. I’m now petrified of touching my head again because of my first massing session and how my hair looked after. Did this happen to you and when does it start growing back?
really expensive though! I realised after I made the video that people probably meant buying it rather than making your own, but it looks like making my own is possible with the right ingredients
It is a lymphatic issue. It is cooked foods that are causing your hair loss so you need to remove the cause. You need to ease into a 100% raw fruit diet. You can find out more from Dr Robert Morse and Raw Maraby who is on UA-cam, just recently made a few videos on balding.
My comment is this--stop trying!! You look fine just the way you are and have every right to be confident in your self, no matter how much hair you have. You sound intelligent, diligent, compassionate; you look in good health and energetic. If you really are intent on "self-improvement" (and it seems like this hair journey has taken a LOT of time and money without much improvement), think of some other area of your life or body or self which CAN improve with all that time and money, and go for it! Find a different subject to become an expert on and post videos about, work out, run marathons for charity, join Toastmasters, learn to cook amazing food, save animals or people, set different goals in your work life or relationship journeys which can bring you joy. Not meaning to be harsh or negative, but this feels like such a dead end for you. There's a really big world out there not controlled by hair follicles, which is waiting for your presence!~
im on the same route. nevertheless the effort doesnt seem worth imho. try this, try that - half of it is marketing bs that makes you buy stuff that has 0 impact. i can see the endresult by looking at my dad. i would either go full drugs or transplant - either way you have to keep taking that shit to maintain it for life. i rather invest that energy in different aspects of my looks - staying lean and muscualar to not look like a complete dork. i appreciate your effort tho and hope you all the best results.

Bro dedicated his life to stop hair loss. But this is great info. Thank you.
incredible info. saved so much time for so many people
defiantly helping people to not waste money on false methods
He doing this for everyone to save your time and money, this guy is great
you're a king for doing these videos, looking forward to seeing your results in april
This guy will eventually get it
I’ve seen results very quickly with this protocol:
In the first 4 weeks my hair has grown visibly more dense and I have new hairs all along my hairline.
Fenugreek water in a spray bottle. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water and add the water to a spray bottle. 2X per day.
The fenugreek is something I see a lot of UA-camrs leave out but it even makes my beard and eyebrows thicker within the first week of use.
Oils applied to scalp every other day:
Rosemary oil
Peppermint oil
Pumpkin seed oil
Vitamin E oil
Bhringraj oil
Micro needle stamp 1.5mm. 1.5 seems to make a big difference over 1.0 or less. I do it every other day on the days I don’t use oils.
Daily Vitamins:
E
B1
B2
B3
B5
B12
D3
Ashwaganda
L-lysine
Multi vitamin
Multi mineral
I forgot I also take biotin which is important.
I eat a lot of eggs as well.
Pls keep us updated
@raakgu great info, thanks! I bought a derma pen and I plan to split test with 1mm roller on one half and the pen on the other if I get to October without improvement.
Have you gotten your male pattern baldness actually diagnosed by a derm?
Have you tried out topical finasterid? Most people dont have any side effects while using it.
Honestly thank you for the updates
Improving circulation is where it’s at unless you’ve got some genetic component. I accidentally noticed hairline improvement after letting my hair grow out to the point I need to brush it- and just brushing with a brush it was enough disturbance/circ promotion to start new whisps at the border
Genetic or not - massage helps with any type of alopecia.
what kind of brush? is it bpa free?
doesnt matter, if I had to guess it's mechanical force making a difference

I am starting to see thin baby hairs after about 4 weeks using topical 5% minoxidil once a day, 0.5 derma rolling once a week. A mix pumpkin seed and rosemary oil about once every 3-4 days.
Use a saw palmetto and argan oil shampoo
I also began taking vitamin D and biotin.
With the scalp massage I’ll then do about 3 mins when I apply anything
Compared to when I first started my hair also feels much healthier.
Hope this info is useful for some of you out there :)
is this working?
I’m looking forward to your next update. I admire your perseverance and hope you find a protocol that works for you. I’m trying daily massage & weekly diluted rosemary oil. I plan to add rosemary water and will consider saw palmetto. Am also trying to avoid medication if possible. Wishing you well in your journey.
thanks! I'm back on rosemary oil now with a castor oil base having found the concentration of topical Finasteride to be insufficient in stopping hair loss. Hope you find some success too!
You can try including inversions in your protocol.
What foods are you eating in your high nitrate diet?
@@kygo beetroot, kale, broccoli, celery, spinach
I bought his download but still not clear enough for me to do them....push in on the sides of the head??? Not sure
I think using a derma pen would be a better choice than a derma roller, as derma rolling is more likely to cause hair loss rather than derma pen
Appreciate your experimentation and the updates!
Really appreciate you doing all this research for us. It helps us!
Appreciate you sharing your experience. I am going to start a similar routine.
Hey,
I would suggest trying 15 grams of flaxseeds morning/evening
I have longer hair and it's the only things that maintain my hair from falling. Maybe adding it to your routine might be something interesting for you, idk.
Just got back from getting a hair transplant in Turkey. Im going to be dermarolling with peppermint and rosemary to maintain the thickness of my original hair. I did have a Nate tell me about topical Finasteride. All benefits with little to no complications from oral route seems to be an attractive idea.
id stray from grapeseed oil- possibly use castor oil, or eliminate binder as a whole.
I think blood flow increase using minoxidil is important. Blood flow is what gives hair follicle nutrients.
Actually the restricted blood flow to follicles has proven to be a consequence of hair loss, not a cause. That's why rosemary oil for example just really isn't that effective.
Hi,
Could be a chicken and egg dilemma.
Also could be migrenous like blood vessels Constrict during stress and then create a long lasting effect on the hair follicle starting a vicious cycle...
Anyhow thanks for the info. Do you have link to the study which shows that hairless causes vasoconstriction/low blood flow?

@@aden774is there a natural way to stop hairloss without fin and Minoxidil?
Pump. seed oil; Rosemary oil; Safflower extract/oil; Fenugreek...and anything for LIVER (that could be the secret :) my hair thickened and felt healthier the moment I focussed on the liver...cheers
could you tell me that secret pls?

Edit:
Have you though of topical finasteride?
Rob English did a video about it - apparently even 0.1mg topical can have significantly positive effects - with near zero systemic DHT reduction.
Hey, yes topical Fin has been suggested a few times, it's a good option if my second attempt at ingesting them still leaves me with side effects
Hi do you add water to the oils in the topical solution?
no it's just base oil & the oil for treatment in whatever concentration you want, so 3% peppermint oil would be 3 drops of peppermint oil and 97 drops of grapeseed oil. I've also heard people talk in terms of number of drops per application, so 3-5 drops of peppermint mixed with some grapeseed oil for a single application.

Can you please share the details of the hand held infrared lamp that you are using?

But if you intend to keep experimenting for a few months/years, the sooner the better
(or else you'll have more and more non-consistent pictures)
Scube 3 will work, that’s the holy grail for stopping hair loss once it comes out. I guess the best option really is topical finasteride if your worried about side effects. it’s a war against your own genetics which makes it all so difficult.
Nothing but respect for this young guy, he's tried everything and has been objective whilst presenting himself very well. But I have to say the results simply haven't happened yet have they? Try to do balayam it shown results in my hair in a year , it's not fully grown but it improved much
Can you experiment with black seed oil capsules please?
Any update?
Dude you look like a great candidate for a hair transplant (better than the hair I started with and I got good results). Congrats for doing all the stuff you are doing right now, but it may be something to think about for the future. But you look fine as is, but you are obviously concerned or you wouldn't make these videos. Thanks for your time.
Why don't you try topical finasteride? It's also very effective and has lesser side effects
Just tried it for 150 days, further hair loss so feels like dosage wasn't high enough. Will be releasing video on it in 2 weeks
But ideally you want to control the lighting so maybe bathroom is better than relying on natural light since some days may be more shiny other rainy.
you can use a pill cutter to quarter your pills.
Thanks for the update! I used a time ago the derminator with needle lentgh of 1.5mm once per week. It seemed to improve my hair but some how I stopped. Actually Im on fin and minox trying to stabilize my hair status. Maybe I should start again. 🙂
How is your hair update now
Have you read up on topical duetrsteride not causing side effects to its molecule size?
What about magnesium did you try it? I'm only starting to lose hair at the temples.
Find my comment in the comment section with the natural recipe to try on.
Shave your head and then do ‘cupping’ on it to promote blood flow. That’s the protocol I’m waiting for someone to try
Do derma stamping ..less painful than rolling ...😊
If you're watching XXX and so on, take a break for about 4 weeks and you'll start to see baby hairs sprouting at the edges of your bends, don't ask me how I know that.
If possible consider maybe using a specific room in your house or blocking all natural light and only using artificial light for consistent pictures
ALso Joe Dispensa
I started with topical dutasterid and Minoxidil and microneedling about 1 week ago and had no side effects so far. I used over the counter Minoxidil some years ago with quite some side effects. But this time I bought it online from a Canadian company.
Btw your hairstyle looks still good.
this is super-thorough. i learned a lot of information here!
Hey I've seen your videos. Since you've done a lot of videos on this topic, would you say mastrubation has any effect on hair thinning and loss.
I've had a few comments telling me that "semen retention" is effective, which is not ejaculating for 2+ weeks at a time. I covered it briefly here when I did a run through of the top 20 tips from all my comments ua-cam.com/video/M45DexVMvsw/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=382
There's a paragraph on it here which is about as much as I've read into it www.decafjournal.com/how-i-reversed-my-hair-loss-naturally/
did you read about CosmeRNA ? its interesting since you apply just once every 15 days, Wonder if you might want give a try in the future.
Certainly one to watch for the future, someone also mentioned SCUBE3 which is something I'll keep an eye out for
I noticed a thickness of hair using Borax
I’ve been scrubbing with it in the shower for my skin and keeping it in a spray bottle, sprayed it on my skin and let it dry.
Borax helps to circulate testosterone
Wait, is circulating testosterone a good thing?

Have you tried low dose finasteride? It has nearly same efficiency in decreasing DHT at doses 5-10 smaller than recommended 0.1-0.2 mcg?
I tried 0.25mg and got some side effects, currently trying topical finasteride equivalent to 0.1mg per dose
@@9to5strengthwhat is your experience now with topical finasteride? Good or bad?
How is your diet? Do you take spirulina ?
No spirulina but generally quite a clean diet with lots of fruit, veg, legumes. I do have red meat 3x/week
What is your opinion about gut health and hairloss? also probiotics help? maybe modern lifestyle hurts our gut that why young people go bald early
Have you tested redensyl
Good work bro ❤😊😊
Lmao
Hask rosemary peppermint shampoo/conditioner (try replenology for their ingredients list) I use mielle peppermint rosemary oil in between my shampoo and conditioner.
Amazing
So DHT is coming from bad liver function?
Try PRP treatments. May work for you
My man demonsteated that everything is useless when you're hairline is receding.
Probably only fina can stop it but at what cost 😢
Hey i want to ask that ur tattoo outline has gone or not??
You can still see it a little bit, I have an article with all the pictures and people were commenting on the thumbnail of a recent push up video where you can see how faded it is 9to5strength.com/laser-tattoo-removal-before-and-after/
@@9to5strength thanks for replying are continuing sessions or just stoped??
You need to do PRP
this is going to sound crazy, but minoxodil + finasteride will give you your hair back in 3 months. did the same for me.
Godspeed.
So you are saying 0.6mm is enough or not enough?
@@RyeCA 0.5 and 0.6 have been shown equal results than 1.0 and 1.5. The difference is that 1.5 can cause minor damage to the root of the hair, as it can each it. Only pens can give that constant precision.
@@TheFunDimension ok, thanks
I know this sounds really stupid, but whats working for me aside of daily 4minutes silicon massage and coconut oil is triming one per month following specific days by the moon. I know sounds a lot like wika bs but is working a lot...
Which specific days?
For some reason nizoral shampoo has made my mpb worse especially around the crown anyone else had the same reaction.
COULD YOU TRY DOING A. HANDSTAND 5 MINS A DAY??
I was recommended a book about hair loss and it said the intensity from handstands is too much and it's enough to lie on a bed with your head off the end, or massage while standing with your head between your legs
If you can find a doctor who can do botox on your scalp, that might be the golden ticket. Also definitely recommend rice water
Did this happen to you and when does it start growing back?
they make topical finasteride my dude
really expensive though! I realised after I made the video that people probably meant buying it rather than making your own, but it looks like making my own is possible with the right ingredients
try reishi mushroom bro
Just get a hair transplant if you're willing to put this much effort. Would make things way easier
u should try sauerkraut even if u won't eat it daily
True, thank you for the inspiring words, you sound like my father when i found myself in deep distress
im on the same route. nevertheless the effort doesnt seem worth imho.
try this, try that - half of it is marketing bs that makes you buy stuff that has 0 impact.
i can see the endresult by looking at my dad.
i would either go full drugs or transplant - either way you have to keep taking that shit to maintain it for life.
i rather invest that energy in different aspects of my looks - staying lean and muscualar to not look like a complete dork.
i appreciate your effort tho and hope you all the best results.
