Amen. I have a feeling people will quickly realize she was the draw. Love her or hate her she’s brought viewers to this show and got people talking. I should know. She brought me to this show. Lol. I’ve never watched a housewives show( I’ve of course heard of the great RHOA but never watched) but I started with Potomac. It was b/c of what I was hearing about Candiace and the one who shall not be named. Lol. I’m happy for her and I hope she thrives outside this franchise. People were always way to hard on her and have all these expectations of her that are honestly unrealistic. Hopefully she’ll have peace and success outside this show.

Did you notice when Gizelle said to Andy "I was told that she would be spoken to..", after he asked her why she didn't confront Candiace during the season. That says to me that Gizelle not speaking to Candiace was her way of trying to force production to make Candiace give her an apology. Did Gizelle really win though? Her seat was moved which clearly sends a warning, her bf may not return and she’s not smart to realize what’s best for the show. Ashley did an interview over the weekend and said Candiace quitting the show surprised the entire cast. This was a make Candiace bow down and kiss the ring episode.
Gizelle is not some great strategist! How could she lose when she has the support and/or protection of production, the host, a violently TOXIC fan base, AND a conveniently silent cast??? Candiace was not on an island by herself. She was on a raft in shark infested waters. I will miss seeing her, but I’m glad she’s protecting her peace of mind!
After watching just this first part of the reunion I can understand why Candiace is leaving. It’s finally crystal clear to her that Giselle and Robin will never be held fully accountable and will always be allowed by Andy and the network to mistreat her, no matter how hard she tries to make up with them. They expect Candiace to shut up and take it knowing they are wrong. Like the Robin cheating package, why Andy start that out referencing Candiace giving Robin a hard time but all the clips was of all the other women talking about the cheating scandal. Karen has shown me what not taking yourself too seriously looks like. She’s able to go toe to toe with the girls then just let it go or laugh at herself. Karen’s ability to not take things too seriously has allowed her to thrive on this show. The girls know even if they come for Karen she will be kookie and get herself away from the heat.
Mia is going to be taking over. She is going to be giving the most storyline of anyone on the show besides Candiace. Candiace gave us drama, the mom and Chris storyline, her wedding, so much. I dont consider kids a storyline because you make them film with you.

And that the show tried to add legitimacy to that by showing that tweet that was not a death threat. Lol. If I didn’t already think that Giselle and honestly the shows producers/execs had a colorism problem that cemented it for me. What a disgusting thing to do and to try to actually take her to task for what other people online were saying ( “I was told she’d get a talking to” - Giselle) Truly a what the fuck moment. The way in which this show and it’s cast members, specifically Giselle, treat the darker skinned woman on the cast is so dehumanizing. Kudos to Candiace for choosing her peace and leaving this show. She’s had it bad( honestly worse than anyone on this show) since season 5. From viewers and internally with the show. I don’t believe that Gizelle made Candaice quit. Candaice has said from day one that she’d only be on the show for 5-6 years as it was a stepping stone for her career; and if it’s true that she’s trying to get pregnant, she needs a break. All Gizelle did was remind Candaice of her original goals. Candaice was playing nice and said her leaving is a pause just in case she needs to come back. Also has it ever occurred to people that her PR team asked her to chill out? She may have upcoming projects coming out.

Candiace is literally suffering from the trauma of a hostile work environment, constantly being gaslit, and being intentionally maligned by her employer. Her husband has been painted as deviant and lost his job. Every time she tries to defend herself she’s attacked by coworkers, employers, and viewers. If she doesn’t she’s attacked by coworkers, employers, and viewers. If she apologizes she’s attacked by coworkers, employers, and viewers. It’s not fair to keep expecting her to fight a losing battle. There’s no way to win and she felt in her soul. She’s gonna need real therapy.

Predators can coerce, prey on vulnerable people, they can manipulate, they can sexually/ physically assault, they can intimidate, they can isolate, they can groom,etc. She didn’t say he assaulted her but she did say that he was trying to get her into a room alone where,the implication being, at the very least she would be vulnerable/ at his mercy. I don’t know too many good things that happen when someone goes to the effort to do that. And by her own admission he went to the effort of making sure she was alone.
Candy wasnt my faves but because of their constant harassment desire to take her down and picking apart some of the privilege she was afforded- you cant help but feel protective when someone is being bullied. Colorism is an invasive and insidious thing that not only effects the black community but all over the world due to colonialism. In many countries where theres any melanin- theres an inherent desire to be near whiteness due to the power and affluence it can/does hold. Watching the past few seasons has been extremely triggering but also made me question my own perception and views of colorism. I had to really check myself. I think that people just have a hard time checking their own selves and having to admit they hold colorist views. Time and time again the GEBs and Ashley has been proven to display worse behavior than Candy and Wendy and it most often goes unchecked. Its hard to swallow when you realize you’ve upheld racist/colorist beliefs. Our country has a hard time doing that. That is why Trump is still in the running. Its hard to watch a show that displays the disparity that is the true reality of our society. So while it is just a reality show- some cast members are purveyor of colorism. its painful to watch because GEBs, Ashley are inflicting real pain unto their cast mates with out accountability and enjoy their proximity to whiteness.
Honestly at this point, I think they have worn Candiace down to the point she is emotionally and mentally tired. I honestly believe she is taking a break for her mental wellbeing more than anything because there is only so long you can be in a deeply toxic working environment before it has an irreversible impact on you. Whilst I wanted Candiace to drop down to hell and read Gizelle for absolute filth, she knows that Andy, production and NBC universal will protect Gizelle and ultimately side with Gizelle so her tears of frustration made sense to me. I am glad she is taking a break, so I too can take a break from ingesting this toxic mess of a show. Hopefully Gizelle will nene herself off RHOP in the next few seasons and Candiace will decide to comeback.

I was sweating this whole reunion because I was so frustrated. I am happy Candiace left because the gaslighting was over the top. Cousin, Candaice's behavior was very ATYPICAL of her. I'm not saying that what I'm thinking is true, but Candaice could be taking shots for IVF or she may be pregnant. One of my closest friends did IVF and she changed from acting like 'red head Kandi' (her regular attitude) to someone who cried all the time and let people play in her face. I was shooketh! Even though she'd warned our friend group that she may get very emotional once she started taking the shots, we were not ready. So I'm not saying Candaice is taking IVF shots-- but the way she kept crying instead of airing Gizzy out and the way she answered the pregnancy question-- definitely made me wonder. So, this is just speculation…BUT I think Wendy wants to be there for Candice but lowkey felt Candiace wasn’t a true friend to her when the whole speaker situation happened last season. I honestly feel like her feelings was hurt when Candiace went on her social media rant and said “all these b-words are fake and all they want to do is start new businesses” and the only person she said something good about was Robyn. So I think Wendy is like we’re cool but not that cool because I can see you are more of a friend to Robyn than me. And if Candiace got back on a good foot with Robyn and Gizelle, she would not be there for Wendy. So I think Wendy feels conflicted because she wants to be there for Candiace but she has to do it at a distant because she doesn’t trust Candyace. Oh, also with the Nneka situation too. Candiace is not a ride or die with Wendy, so she’s not going to be that for her too.

Candiace wears her heart on her sleeve. A gift and a curse for her. The laughing was not funny. It wasn’t wrong but it also was performative and unnecessary. It’s also important to remember Candiace has waaaaayyyyy more to lose than them. But I don’t think Giselle won bc unless they put ALL THE WAY ON next season it looks like they have lost a lot of fans. I think Candiace leaving will prove to be a mistake.

Cowboy Carter is better than Renaissance imo. People mentioned the great songs like: Bodyguards, Tyrant, II Hands II Heaven, Riiverdance, Levii Jean's. But Flamenco went hard as well. From the harmonization of it all to the beat, that sounds like the click clacking of the horses feet. It's everything. Also, "Just for Fun" was another great one people don't mention. It sounds like a gospel song. Beyonce sang the song with Willie Jones, who is a Black country artist. I loved the intros that people don't mention, like Alliigator Tears, Oh Louisiana, which leads to Desert Eagle, which leads to Riiverdance. And Texas Hold 'Em goes hard on the album, especially the ending when it leads up to "Bodyguard" This whole body of work is a legit Masterpiece. You have to let the whole album play through. I think a lot of people skip songs they heard already, and that's a huge mistake.
So agree and flamenco is also my underrated fave too. Lol. Along with Amen and the beginning of tyrant. The storytelling on this album is so underrated. That hangman part is so good. Like begging the executioner to teach her his ways. The cowboy carter character. It’s all so cinematic and big. She outdid herself and I can’t wait for act iii.
@birdi3beez I honestly loved this whole album. The songs at the beginning of the album 1-5 were all on the slower side, but they really showed off Beyoncé vocal talent. I love songs like that. Where I sing along and try hard to match them, and lose my voice in the process, lol. I usually hate when Beyoncé raps and was about to skip Spaghettii, but closer to the end where she's like, I ain't in no gang, but I got shooters and I bang, bang" then she starts harmonizing... I f**king loved it. That's the main reason I'm telling people to play the whole album through.

I don't think Candiace has an expectation attached to Gizelle. I think she's frustrated bcz the expectation for her is different. I think she's keeping it mild bcz they have an already set intention to resolve conflict. Collectively, the cast wants to hold Candiace accountable for being the best reader online and on the show. This wouldn't be an issue if she was on ATL. None of the girls except Candiace and Karen have been readers, so it's an issue for them. I wish she would stop crying, tho, but you can't tell someone how to process their emotions. However, crying is a sign of weakness for Gizelle and the general viewing audience, so it's only going to annoy them.
Crying isn’t a sign of weakness to me, but crying over everything is annoying. It’s like you should be able to express your emotions w/o tears all the time. I feel the same way about people who yell all the time, or can’t have a civil conversation without all the dramatics.

I think that when I realized Candiace's conduct when it comes to the Green-eyed Bandits is because of her mother. She was basically taught from birth that toxic interactions/bullying is a normal part of friendships. I’ve never watched a housewives show( I’ve of course heard of the great RHOA but never watched) but I started with Potomac. It was b/c of what I was hearing about Candiace and the one who shall not be named. Lol. I’m happy for her and I hope she thrives outside this franchise. People were always way to hard on her and have all these expectations of her that are honestly unrealistic. Hopefully she’ll have peace and success outside this show.

It's a good thing Candiace had a four year plan
After watching just this first part of the reunion I can understand why Candiace is leaving. It’s finally crystal clear to her that Giselle and Robin will never be held fully accountable and will always be allowed by Andy and the network to mistreat her, no matter how hard she tries to make up with them. They expect Candiace to shut up and take it knowing they are wrong. Like the Robin cheating package, why Andy start that out referencing Candiace giving Robin a hard time but all the clips was of all the other women talking about the cheating scandal.
Karen has shown me what not taking yourself too seriously looks like. She’s able to go toe to toe with the girls then just let it go or laugh at herself. Karen’s ability to not take things too seriously has allowed her to thrive on this show. The girls know even if they come for Karen she will be kookie and get herself away from the heat.
Mia is going to be taking over. She is going to be giving the most storyline of anyone on the show besides Candiace. Candiace gave us drama, the mom and Chris storyline, her wedding, so much. I dont consider kids a storyline because you make them film with you.

Predators can coerce, prey on vulnerable people, they can manipulate, they can sexually/ physically assault, they can intimidate, they can isolate, they can groom,etc. She didn’t say he assaulted her but she did say that he was trying to get her into a room alone where,the implication being, at the very least she would be vulnerable/ at his mercy. I don’t know too many good things that happen when someone goes to the effort to do that. And by her own admission he went to the effort of making sure she was alone.

Candy wasnt my faves but because of their constant harassment desire to take her down and picking apart some of the privilege she was afforded- you cant help but feel protective when someone is being bullied. Colorism is an invasive and insidious thing that not only effects the black community but all over the world due to colonialism. In many countries where theres any melanin- theres an inherent desire to be near whiteness due to the power and affluence it can/does hold. Watching the past few seasons has been extremely triggering but also made me question my own perception and views of colorism. I had to really check myself. I think that people just have a hard time checking their own selves and having to admit they hold colorist views. Time and time again the GEBs and Ashley has been proven to display worse behavior than Candy and Wendy and it most often goes unchecked. Its hard to swallow when you realize you’ve upheld racist/colorist beliefs. Our country has a hard time doing that. That is why Trump is still in the running. Its hard to watch a show that displays the disparity that is the true reality of our society. So while it is just a reality show- some cast members are purveyor of colorism. its painful to watch because GEBs, Ashley are inflicting real pain unto their cast mates with out accountability and enjoy their proximity to whiteness.

Honestly at this point, I think they have worn Candiace down to the point she is emotionally and mentally tired. I honestly believe she is taking a break for her mental wellbeing more than anything because there is only so long you can be in a deeply toxic working environment before it has an irreversible impact on you. Whilst I wanted Candiace to drop down to hell and read Gizelle for absolute filth, she knows that Andy, production and NBC universal will protect Gizelle and ultimately side with Gizelle so her tears of frustration made sense to me. I am glad she is taking a break, so I too can take a break from ingesting this toxic mess of a show. Hopefully Gizelle will nene herself off RHOP in the next few seasons and Candiace will decide to comeback.

I think when Candiace wouldn’t play ball with Giselle during that sit down at that dance studio when she wanted to talk about Chris, and Candiace politely got her beautiful ass up and broke the 4 wall with production and got their ass together….. Production has had it out for Candiace since that happened… Think about it… Candiace couldn’t catch a break with anything after that. The only bone they threw her was to clear Chris’ name from Lamb Chop’s lie with the video footage….
So, this is just speculation…BUT I think Wendy wants to be there for Candice but lowkey felt Candiace wasn’t a true friend to her when the whole speaker situation happened last season. I honestly feel like her feelings was hurt when Candiace went on her social media rant and said “all these b-words are fake and all they want to do is start new businesses” and the only person she said something good about was Robyn. So I think Wendy is like we’re cool but not that cool because I can see you are more of a friend to Robyn than me. And if Candiace got back on a good foot with Robyn and Gizelle, she would not be there for Wendy. So I think Wendy feels conflicted because she wants to be there for Candiace but she has to do it at a distant because she doesn’t trust Candyace. Oh, also with the Nneka situation too. Damn it! I hate that I have to say this but you're wrong Rodney. Just know that I adore you but... I don't have to like someone or be their friend to have human decency or remorse for someone. I know that Giselle and Candice are on a show but Candice truly thought they were her friends. Because they made her believe they were truly her friends outside of the show. All Giselle had to do was sit there and not say s***. Giselle was wrong.

I agree, Gizelle doesn't owe Candiace basic human decency just because she was crying. Therefore....had that been me.....ida been waiting for Gizelle's dead dad segment. Since we don't have compassion for tears and we don't care to respect each other's family members (and she STILL lyin on Chris this reunion)? Don't expect a quiet segment for your dad. You get the energy you give, I woulda been every bit of 'so nasty and so rude' during her dad's segment.

Cowboy Carter is better than Renaissance imo. People mentioned the great songs like: Bodyguards, Tyrant, II Hands II Heaven, Riiverdance, Levii Jean's. But Flamenco went hard as well. From the harmonization of it all to the beat, that sounds like the click clacking of the horses feet. It's everything.
Also, "Just for Fun" was another great one people don't mention. It sounds like a gospel song. Beyonce sang the song with Willie Jones, who is a Black country artist.
I loved the intros that people don't mention, like Alliigator Tears, Oh Louisiana, which leads to Desert Eagle, which leads to Riiverdance.
And Texas Hold 'Em goes hard on the album, especially the ending when it leads up to "Bodyguard"
This whole body of work is a legit Masterpiece. You have to let the whole album play through. I think a lot of people skip songs they heard already, and that's a huge mistake.
So agree and flamenco is also my underrated fave too. Lol. Along with Amen and the beginning of tyrant. The storytelling on this album is so underrated. That hangman part is so good. Like begging the executioner to teach her his ways. The cowboy carter character. It’s all so cinematic and big. She outdid herself and I can’t wait for act iii.

@birdi3beez I honestly loved this whole album. The songs at the beginning of the album 1-5 were all on the slower side, but they really showed off Beyoncé vocal talent. I love songs like that. Where I sing along and try hard to match them, and lose my voice in the process, lol. I usually hate when Beyoncé raps and was about to skip Spaghettii, but closer to the end where she's like, I ain't in no gang, but I got shooters and I bang, bang" then she starts harmonizing... I f**king loved it. That's the main reason I'm telling people to play the whole album through.

Alot of people believe Candiace got fired but after being attacked twice, iced out, mocked, and they barely backed her up. I woulda quit to because what is she doing all this for. I dont even think wendy should come back because in my mind shes next. I think im good on potomac as a show. I didnt watch the season i just read the discourse and im not doing that next season either. Gizelle reminds me of someone i know down to the charasmatic charming personality and evil behavior behind closed doors. so i understand exactly who she is and im not watching.

I don't think Candiace has an expectation attached to Gizelle. I think she's frustrated bcz the expectation for her is different. I think she's keeping it mild bcz they have an already set intention to resolve conflict. Collectively, the cast wants to hold Candiace accountable for being the best reader online and on the show. This wouldn't be an issue if she was on ATL. None of the girls except Candiace and Karen have been readers, so it's an issue for them. I wish she would stop crying, tho, but you can't tell someone how to process their emotions. However, crying is a sign of weakness for Gizelle and the general viewing audience, so it's only going to annoy them.
Crying isn’t a sign of weakness to me, but crying over everything is annoying. It’s like you should be able to express your emotions w/o tears all the time. I feel the same way about people who yell all the time, or can’t have a civil conversation without all the dramatics.
I will say Dot might be a pain in Candiace behind, but she gone make sure baby girl live that life. Ashley really married old and wealthy for nothing.
The posters that candaice came with would have been more useful if it were direct quotes of all the times Gizelle changed her story about Chris with the episode and time on them. This would have gagged the liars

Didn't Robyn have this whole issue with Monique and bloggers around season 3 or 4 and now it turns around that she her self is all up with the bloggers. I think the reunion was it for Candiace they gaslighted the shit out of her. We will see what they gonna do if they continue in this direction. Giselle really thinks she is still at the sorority.
Gizelle relies on her FACE for the fashion. The pretty girl role has always been enough which is why she doesn’t even try when it comes to the fashion. IMO

The sex scandal part only involved him allegedly not telling his supervisors of the alleged gossip of the student having a sexual relationship with the coach. I believe he was released from the charges after the investigation determined he didn't violate anything

I think that when I realized Candiace's conduct when it comes to the Green-eyed Bandits is because of her mother. She was basically taught from birth that toxic interactions/bullying is a normal part of friendships. I think they need to get rid of the RHOP production team, an entire clean sweep from the head on down. Giselle don't even bring anything to the table to run things like this.
