And sometimes they just left Ashanti voice on it and let jlo harmonize with it. It’s not some made up narrative that people ran with. Irv and jlo team took Ashanti’s songs from under her and then paid her for it. She didn’t really have a choice in it. Christina Millian is also the voice on a couple songs for jlo. Jlo was manufactured but she not the only first or last.

I agree with you Cuzzin about the Jolie kids having the opportunity and space to be them. The first 3 were solely Jolie’s first. Angelina’s kids appear non problematic, go to college, have homes in their birth countries, and have learned since early childhood how to be community and civic minded. Shiloh is actually engrossed in training in hip hop dancing and I s really good at it.
Shiloh is a great dancer I like watching her dance team videos online. She is a serious dancer. And Zahra is the whole package. Angela did a great job with all her kids.

I’m so glad you brought up the point about kids having their own opinions and beliefs. I also had a similar experience growing up. I remember when my father, who I had only seen 5 times in my life, died and my mom told me I had to go to his funeral. I told her that I would not and I was sorry to that man 😂 Now, I eventually softened up and went but not because she told me to. I could tell my mom was hurt, for whatever reason, I guess she loved him at one point, so I went for her. But folks are always quick to make it seem like mothers put these “thoughts” into their children’s heads. When that’s usually not the case. Like you Rodney, I knew as early as 9 years old that my father wasn’t ish. So at 17 when he died I was unmoved and it had nothing to do with my mother who always tried to speak highly of him. Stevie Wonder could see he was a terrible dad simply because he was never present. Kids are smart. They know who loves them and who doesn’t. Kids aren’t dumb 🙄
